Hi there, can the images be set as a rollover in the menu?
Hi stuartdoyle99,
It really depends on what you mean/what you want the hover action to be. There’s no “rollover” functionality built in. If you wanted to change the styling of the image on hover, that could be done pretty easily with some custom CSS and an image filter. If you wanted to swap out the image entirely, that would require a lot deeper customization to achieve (and not something we’d recommend).
Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please be sure to submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further, thanks!
Getting an incompatibility with slider revolution from your plugin. I disable Ubermenu it works.
Hi LittleDesigneruk,
We’ve seen many customers use these two plugins together successfully. So the issue you’re encountering is likely site-specific. Naturally we can’t assess anything without seeing the issue firsthand.

Hi I have an archive page in Wordpress and I can’t for the life of me figure out how you add the menu to it? Is there a guide?
Hi LittleDesigneruk,
It will very much depend on your theme and where you want to add it, since the theme controls your site layout.
You can find the documentation on the various ways to integrate the menu into your site in the Knowledgebase: https://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/integration

Hi, I maybe want to buy this plugin, but I have an important question. My client wants to have a mega menu on this website: https://www.phonerepairs.nl/ underneath telefoon reparatie there are a lot of brands of phones and underneath them all the types. He wants that every submenu is openend by hover. Now only the main menu is opened by hover. Is that possible with your plugin? Hope to hear from you! Best, Marloes
Hi Marloes,
You can configure the menu to have second level items in a mega submenu open their submenus on hover, though (1) that generally wouldn’t recommended for UX purposes and (2) note that the submenus in this case would open as dropdowns/flyouts, rather than accordions as currently on your site.
If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please go ahead and submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!
Hi,
I’m having troubles displaying a tabs when you hover on the parent item. If you hover on ‘Producten’ you will actually see a menu but the items are not displayed. Only when you move your mouse within the dropdown menu the tabs are getting displayed. I want to it to get displayed by default. So, when one hovers on ‘Producten’.
https://bit.ly/3ACAPe9Kind regards
Hi MM-Admin,
That’s due to interference from your theme that needs to be resolved (specifically, it’s wrapping UberMenu in an extra UL and applying the “Superfish” menu script to UberMenu, therefore treating the secondary submenus as flyouts, which is why they’re hidden).
If you need assistance, please Submit a Ticket with a currently supported license – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!
Silly question but need to check, is it possible to increase the font size of the menu items? Thanks a lot
Hi buttonmatt,
Yes, please see the Knowledgebase: Changing the Font – Family, Size, etc

Hi, I have purchased and downloaded the plugin. I need to create the left hand side Menu, that opens down like a toggle and that remains fixed on the page : https://strokengine.ca/en/interventions/acupuncture/ looking at the page source it was done using your plugin. Could it be possible to guide me to one of your Youtube videos maybe, showing how to setup a menu like this? Your settings and configurations seem overwhelming for something so little. Thank you.
Hi hbbd,
UberMenu is a plugin for creating mega menus like the ones shown on the UberMenu demo site. The menu in the blue bar at the top of the site you sent was created with UberMenu. The element I’m seeing in the left sidebar appears to be a table of contents widget. So I’m not sure if that’s what you’re referring to, as it is not a mega menu?
If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks very much and have a good evening!
Can I safely update plugin from version 3.2.0.2 to latest?
Hi SoulMan77,
That’s quite a big leap, I’d advise testing on a staging site first.

Hi, I am using Astra theme, currently the menu is a combination of sticky and transparent modes. As shown in the picture, the header is transparent when it is initially loaded, and once the page is scrolled, the header changes to sticky mode. https://postimg.cc/7J6dtBVb I would like to know 1\ if this plugin can create a menu and place it on the header without changing the working Logic and header appearance, just one more menu button. 2\ Or can it create a header with the same functionality as described above. Thanks!
Hi there,
UberMenu just creates the menu, it does not create an entire header.
So yes, UberMenu is intended to be an element within your header. The menu will not affect the functionality of the header itself, it’ll just be “along for the ride”.
Hope that answers your question, if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!
Hello,
sorry, do you know if there’s an easy option to align content of a submenu vertically? https://ibb.co/XzT6Jhb
Thanks
P.S. I’m asking here, because I want to renew support but I have to wait 20th of the current month to do so because of client’s intention
Hi ipergraphic,
I’m not sure specifically what element you’re looking to adjust, but there isn’t a built-in vertical alignment for groups of elements in the submenu, sorry. You may want to look at adjusting the padding if you want to equalize some of those heights.
As I’ve requested of you a few times now, if you have any further questions, you must Submit a Ticket. Support is not provided via item comments, only via the support center. Also please note that if you are using the plugin on a new site (your existing license appears to be from 2016), then you’d need to purchase a new license rather than renewing the existing one (see Licensing for more info). If you have any questions on that, you can submit a ticket with your existing license or submit a pre-purchase question if needed: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase – thanks
Hello,
I would like to know if it’s possible to build a similar to this:
https://www.veed.io/view/8dc68e72-def5-49cf-a373-ced84f079353So when clicking on the menu, the main navigation should open. There you can see the main categories on the left side. If you move the mouse over it, the products of the category should be displayed on the right. Also it should be possible to scroll down like in the video, because I have a lot of categories.
Also I’m using the Porto Theme, is the mega menu compatible with this theme?
Thanks in advance
Hi VirtualEconomics,
You could create a single top-level item menu with a Tabs block in the submenu to recreate that.
Scrolling would not work the same way due to how overflow works (in order to maintain proper structure for SEO), but you would be able to scroll the entire site (assuming you don’t have a sticky header) or you could set up the entire submenu to be scrollable. That said, it’s not advisable to put a massive number of tabs in a submenu for usability purposes.
We’ve seen users use UberMenu with Porto successfully, I am not sure if the current version would require manual or automatic integration.
Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please be sure to submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!
Hello,
I’m looking for a plugin which lets me set a mobile menu with horizontal navigation. I mean that, when I open the menu, I can navigate items and sub-items with horizontal navigation instead of vertical subnavigation.
Do you know if I can set this with your plugin? Please see the screenshot here for a sample of what I mean, you see the arrows which let people navigate before/left in submenu: https://ibb.co/0nWbVNZ
Thanks!
Hi ipergraphic,
UberMenu’s submenu will create a vertically oriented accordion or dropdown mobile menu, so I don’t think that’ll do what you want.
If you’re looking for a mobile menu with multiple panels for submenus, it’s possible ShiftNav might suit your needs, you may want to check out the demo: http://shiftnav.io/
Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase , or for post-purchase support please Submit a Ticket – thanks!
Thanks a lot! I bought that extension
I have a second and final question: do you know if there’s a way to incorporate any kind of carousel? We have a food e-commerce, and our client wants to showcase the different types of pasta he sells (around 10 types).
The idea would be to have a carousel, where we show the 10 images of the products.
I could also use no-carousel, but 10 items in a menu with images would be maybe too much if not inside a carousel. Thanks!
Hi ipergraphic,
I’m not 100% sure which plugin you’re referring to, but neither includes a carousel out of the box. You could add a third party carousel within UberMenu via a shortcode or widget if you wanted.
Again please Submit a Ticket if you have any further questions – all support is provided via the support center and not item comments – thanks!

Can I create menu like in this site https://www.ticketveiling.nl/ It has a category menu. Plz check and reply me
Hi there,
I think you’re referring to the pink menu bar? If so, you could create that top level layout with images above the text using the core UberMenu plugin. If you wanted to do it using font/CSS icons rather than images, you could add the Icons Extension ( https://wpmegamenu.com/icons ) as well to get that layout.
All the submenus there are basic flyouts, so you can do that with UberMenu as well.
Hope that helps – if you have any further questions, please submit a pre-purchase question here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!

Hey, your menu looks awesome.
Can you instead have the mobile menu always on desktop and mobile instead of a traditional menu on desktop using UberMenu?
Thanks, Robert
You can change the mobile breakpoint to whatever you like, so you could potentially raise it very high so that you’d always have the mobile format. That would always give you one or two columns in the menu. Or you could just have a single top level menu item if that’s what you’re looking for. Another option would be to use ShiftNav ( https://shiftnav.io/ ), to create an off-canvas menu for either desktop or mobile. Really just depends on exactly what you’re looking for.
