Hello, we are seeing an issue with WordPress ver. 6.1.1, is this something you are aware of?
Hi there,
We have not encountered any issues nor had any reported with the current version of UberMenu (3.8.1). If you’re up to date and encountering an issue, please Submit a Ticket and we can help you out – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!
Hi,
I’ve sent you guys a support ticket more than a week ago. Didn’t received a respons yet! Can you please check!
Hello within this tool handle 1000+ items with sub sub sub sub subs? I have yet to find anything that will. Thanks so much, it looks great for smaller menus, but I think once we get past a few hundred everything fails.
Hi ingenuitor,
UberMenu is built on top of the WordPress menu system, so while UberMenu will not limit your items or submenus, it is still limited by the practical limitations of the WordPress menu system.
UberMenu does have Menu Segment functionality, which allows you to break the menu down into smaller more manageable pieces.
All that said, for most sites a 1000+ item submenu would be bad for both SEO and performance, so you’ll want to make sure those things don’t matter regardless of the menu you’re using.
Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further.
A direct message has been sent, thank you and best regards
Good morning, does this plugin also allow me to insert shopping cart and other woocoomerce widgets?
Hi Sperlari90,
You can add WooCommerce items and a cart to the menu – here is our documentation on WooCommerce, adding a Cart Summary, and Cart Drodown
Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we’ll be happy to discuss further – thanks!
Ubermenu is broken in Elementor in the last day or two. Ubermenu in the header breaks the site and takes up the entire screen, no css or js is apparently getting loaded from ubermenu. Please look into this or let me know if you need more info.
The element for Ubermenu even disappeared from the elements selection. The previous post has the same problem, so it’s very likely to be a bug not specific to the user.
UPDATE – It appears that the issue is only on pages where there is two ubermenus on one page. I have one in the header and one near the footer. Any ideas how to correct this? This was working correctly for months before today.
Hi Brian,
Thanks, we’re aware and have been working to resolve it – in our local tests everything is working properly, so we’re working to try to figure out what is specific to the installs where customers are encountering an issue. The only thing that was changed regarding Elementor was updating the functions and hooks that Elementor had deprecated to their required replacements, so it’s very strange that this has affected things.
In the interim, you can either downgrade to UberMenu v3.7.8, or add UberMenu to the Elementor layout via a shortcode block instead.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – we’re hoping to have a fix out as soon as possible. Thanks!
Thank you for the reply and glad to know you’re aware. I found a backup file so I installed v3.7.8 and the issue remains. Most likely something in the database got changed with the last update.
I cleared the cache etc and issue remains. Anything else I can try? is there a “regenerate” link somewhere to get the database updated?
Also, inserting the menu using a shortcode doesn’t work either unfortunately. Ive rolled back Elementor, Elementor Pro and Ubermenu to previous versions, and nothing fixes it.
Hi Brian,
There were no database changes. Other users who have experienced the issue had the shortcode and/or rollback work, so it’s possible you may have something else compounding the issue (possibly just caching). We’d need to see the site to assess it.
At this point it looks like it may be an older PHP version issue and we have a potential fix ready, just waiting on some additional testing and confirmation from those who encountered the issue.
Again, please Submit a Ticket so we can assist you – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments. We can also provide you an updated version to test if you would like once you submit the ticket. Thank you!
Hi there,
The latest update breaks the compatibility with Elementor. After upgrading there is no menu on the website and Elementor hasn’t the UberMenu element in its pallete. I would like to install the previous one but there is no repository to find the version. Can you please help me finding the v3.7.8 April 4, 2022 version of the plugin?
It would be of great help,
Thank you in advance for your time and kind consideration,
Best
Pan
Hi Pan,
Sorry you’re running into trouble, we’ve just retested the latest version and can’t recreate the issue locally – please Submit a Ticket so we can take a look and also get you a copy of the previous version if needed – thanks!
Can’t submit an official ticket, my support period has ended. I found the version I needed through a website backup, so there is no need for that anymore.
At your latest version you mention on the changelog that Elementor is deprecated, that means that you officially removed UberMenu from Elementor. Why do you need to recreate it locally?
Glad to hear you had a backup
Your expired support does not prevent you from submitting a ticket.
No, Elementor support is not removed. The Elementor plugin deprecated some old functions in their codebase; the UberMenu code was updated to maintain compatibility by removing the old functions they deprecated and replacing them with new ones.
Again, if you have any further issues or questions, please Submit a Ticket – thanks
You are right, I can submit a ticket and I did, I think I input the wrong license info. I see, strangely enough, the UberMenu – after updating to the latest version – disappeared form the website and the Elementor’s list of elements in their editor. As it doesn’t exist for Elementor at all. Anyway, thank you for the fast support, I submitted a ticket. Have a nice day!
Pre sale question.
Are the menus loaded with page, or only when opened? Trying to keep my page from getting too big on initial load.
Hi ikester7579,
The entire menu is loaded at once, there isn’t an asynchronous option for the submenus. This is generally important (and a good thing) for navigation menus, since they are often critical for SEO, and web crawlers may not be able to crawl the entire menu structure if the submenu contents are not immediately available on page load.
Hope that helps – if you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!
Is it possible to get a temporary login to TEST your menu in some kind of sandbox (your backend or a demo site) before buying it? if yes, pls get in touch with me via andreas_gran [ at ] web.de
Hi Andreas,
Sorry, we do not offer a demo that you can log into.
If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we’ll be happy to discuss – thanks!
Hi sevenspark, i have a technical question. Google Pagespeed throws the error: This site uses depreciated APIs. I investigated in every plugin I am using, and finally i figured out, that uber menu causes this error. This error costs 8 Best practice points. Can you investigate in this matter and maybe solve this? Thanks for your comment.
Hi db1844,
Most likely you either need to update or fix a configuration or custom content issue, but if you need assistance please Submit a Ticket with details so we can take a look – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!
Hi team,
Recently our site started showing broken. And this is the screenshot of the error that appears. https://imgur.com/a/7F028us
So our site is a multisite wordpress installation. On 3 of them, the ubermenu plugin is enabled and on the last one, it’s not. The website on which it’s not enabled appears and loads fine. But the rest of the 3 with the plugin enabled appears broken. We have even tried disabling the plugin but to no avail.
Also, just wanted to inform you that no recent changes were made to the site. The last change or update was made on November 28th while the problem started showing on December 7th. The error log also just displays these 2 errors and nothing much. Could you please help us check what the problem is? and how can we resolve this asap? Thank you!
Hi archivedigital,
Looks like you’re having an error on your site where your CSS isn’t loading so your page is appearing unstyled. That’s unrelated to the two notices at the top which aren’t errors, just notices (so they’re not actually affecting anything; note that you shouldn’t have front end error reporting enabled on a production site). The notices likely indicate that you need to update to the latest version of UberMenu (3.7.8) for compatibility with your version of PHP. The unstyled page loading issue doesn’t appear to be related to UberMenu, as demonstrated by it still occurring when you disable the plugin.
If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks and have a good evening!
I’m trying to integrate ShiftNav onto Ubermenu since it seems that is the recommended mobile menu plugin, but ShifNav doesn’t support any of the advanced menu options from UberMenu (which is one of the main reasons of even using it, so it’s kind of useless without the integration?)..
Anyways my question is since ShiftNav won’t work directly with UberMenu, how can I modify ubermenu.php or use another function to output the menu generated html? I was hoping I could edit thisfunction _UBERMENU() {
return UberMenu::instance();
}
_UBERMENU();
but it didn’t work. How can I edit this or use another function to get the generated html of the menu?
Thanks!
Hi abda53,
The ubermenu() function generates the menu with PHP. See PHP API
I’m not sure exactly what you’re looking to do, but again, if you have any further questions, please Submit a Ticket and we can help you out. All support is provided via the support center; we cannot provide support via item comments – thank you.
Thanks for the reply. I was trying to use ShiftNav but it looks like the plugin doesn’t work with ubermenu (with dynamic content) so it’s kind of useless. So I was trying to create an output html of ubermenu that I could then feed into ShiftNav.
How come ShiftNav can’t work completely with UberMenu?
They are two separate but complementary plugins with independent feature sets. To use dynamic items in a mobile menu, you can use UberMenu’s mobile menu functionality. Merging the two would also be possible though generally not recommended or necessary.
If you’ve purchased an UberMenu license through another account, you can Submit a Ticket and we can assist you with that. We cannot assist you any further here. Take care.
Hi, how can I edit items of a menu segment? I have forgotten, thanks
Hi pereztroff,
A Menu Segment is just managed as a separate menu, which you can edit in Appearance > Menus. Just select the menu you assigned as the segment and edit it like a normal menu.
If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!
Thanks a lot
Is there any way to copy settings (or menu items) so we don’t have to manually recreate each menu?
Hi there,
You can import/export Configuration settings, but not menu item settings. I’m not clear on your specific scenario regarding “manually recreating each menu”, though we do offer a Menu Duplicator plugin that can create a copy of a menu (within the same install).
If you have any further questions:
- If you have pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase
- If you have already purchased UberMenu, please Submit a Ticket with any questions
so that we can help you out in either case – thanks & have a good evening!
Thanks. For example if I have - menu1 – submenu – submenu - menu2 – submenu2 – submenu2
all of the settings for the menu and submenus need to be the same, but currently there is no way to manually copy/duplicate a menu or the settings so we can apply the settings from one type of menu to another. (duplicating a whole menu isn’t needed)
You can set certain settings on parent items to apply to their child items in order to apply settings as a group, but there isn’t a way to copy settings from item to item (with the inheritance options that would generally not be necessary).
Again, please Submit a Ticket if you have any further questions – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments. Thank you.
Hello, how do I give the toggle menu in mobile view two different labels? now when using two different menus it says twice “Menu”
Hi GWwordpress,
You could either set up a separate configuration for each menu, or you could potentially use a custom toggle rather than the default-generated one.
If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket with a currently supported license – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments, thanks!
Hi! Is it plugin has any cache? When i make changes in menu by admin it not apply changes for no-logged users. Options like menu items descriptions and color of dividers.
Hi Polskoy,
It does sound like you’re having a caching issue, but the only “cache” UberMenu uses is cleared on every settings save and would not affect logged in vs logged out users differently. That sounds more like a page cache issue.
If you have any further questions, please be sure to Submit a Ticket with a currently supported license code – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments, thanks!
Hello, i’m looking a specialist who fix my uber menu on mobile. Now it dissapeared. I’m going to pay for it of course. Current service technician not answer since 2 weeks. I’m waiting for offers

If you’re looking for a freelancer, you may want to get in touch with a trusted freelancer here: https://sevenspark.com/freelancers
Hope that helps – I don’t think other users can reply to your comment so posting here trying to find a freelancer likely isn’t going to help
i have two separate ubermenu side by side. The (flyout) submenu of the left ubermenu comes under the right ubermenu content. Can the z-index or the like of both menus match each other?
Hi GWwordpress,
You’ll need to set up the layering appropriately but it depends on your theme and layout as to what the solution will be. Please Submit a Ticket with a currently supported license and a link to your site so we can take a look – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!
Hi! With this plugin can I have a secondary burger menu in the top header? Like this one: https://glopdesign.com/ Thanks!
Hi mrsmaisel,
You can create a top level item that just has a burger icon as the content, and then a flyout submenu below it like that site. Switching the icon on hover would require some custom CSS, however.
Hope that helps – if you have any further questions, please Submit a Ticket – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – or if this is a pre-purchase question for a new license, please get in touch here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase . Thanks!
ubermenu not showing up on some pages in mobile
https://mastermixconcrete.co.uk/concrete-services/Hi ptcagency,
If you need assistance, please Submit a Ticket using a current license code so we can help you out – all support is provided via the support center, not item comments – thanks!
nice but I don’t want to change the header style. i just need mega menu.
Hi alicanyildizcom,
Seems like I’m missing some context here, but UberMenu only controls the menu (note: the entire menu, not just the submenus); it does not control the entire header. The menu is a component within the header.
If you have any further pre-purchase questions, please submit them here: https://sevenspark.com/pre-purchase and we can discuss further – thanks!
