Hi there!

I have a problem with the automatic setting of the Reply-To field.

It automatically takes the sender’s address, but that’s not what I want! I would like to send emails through a secure sender but set the Reply-To to a completely different address. When I set a Reply-To in the email header, it ends up setting two addresses: the one I enter and the one that eForm sets by itself. I am requesting that this automatic setting be disabled or that we, as Pro users, be given the option to disable the automatic Reply-To setting or to set it manually.

Please provide further information regarding this issue.

Please review my comments below -

1. Mostly it all depends on the email client how they treat the reply-to from the header, in Gmail, it’s working fine, you can check it in yahoo as well. Please confirm if you are having the issue with Gmail as well.

To ensure email delivery, we add from email address according to your settings, but we add a Sender header which refers to the default wordpress@example.com. It depends on the email client (like Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook) to show either the From header or Sender header. We are doing this to make sure the email will reach the inbox.

Also, please try installing SMTP plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-smtp/

It works sometimes for this type of scenario.

2. Sorry, the format string will not work here in the header.

However, as a professional user who requires a high degree of control over form submissions, I want to emphasize that the current limitations of eForm regarding the Reply-To field (and possibly other headers like CC or BCC) are not suitable for professional environments.

Currently, eForm imposes automatic settings, and this severely limits my ability to tailor the email workflow to my specific needs. For example, I might want to set different Reply-To addresses depending on the department the inquiry is addressed to.

2. Disable or Override Automatic Settings: The automatic insertion of the Reply-To header by eForm (or any automatic header manipulation) should be optional. Professional environments demand the flexibility to either manually set or entirely disable such features without hardcoded interference from the plugin. This is crucial for maintaining a streamlined and professional communication flow.

3. Customizable Reply-To for Admin and User Emails: While I appreciate your solution for ensuring email delivery, the focus here is on efficiency and customization. Admins must be able to reply directly to the user’s provided email address without a secondary Reply-To or the need for workarounds that could confuse email clients or result in emails being misrouted.

4. Form Flexibility: Plugins, especially those marketed as professional tools, must not impose restrictions or automatic behaviors that a user cannot fully control. I am currently using much simpler and even free plugins that allow this level of flexibility. I would expect eForm to offer at least the same degree of customization to its professional users.

In conclusion, I strongly recommend considering updates that allow users to fully customize email headers without any predefined values being forced by the plugin. This level of control is crucial for ensuring that tools like eForm can meet the needs of professional users.

I’m interested in learning more about your form tool.

1.Specifically, I want to set up a 5 star review funnel that works as follows: If a customer selects a 1-3 star rating, they are directed to fill out a feedback survey. If they select a 4-5 star rating, they are redirected to leave a review on Google Maps. Could you please let me know if your form can support this functionality?

2.Additionally, do you offer services for building such a review funnel?

3.Lastly, is it possible to create a SaaS solution where clients can have their own individual portal? – access to the 1-3 star rating feedback survey. 

4.If we can’t do Saas portal, is it possible for each individual survey to receive email to 1-3 star rating feedback survey.

2. Yes, we provide custom services.

3. We have a dedicated User Portal page where user can view their submission. Filtering records based on rating is not possible, we need to build a custom module to achieve this type of feature.

4. Conditional email to admin based on the rating is possible, unfortunately, this is not possible in case of user notifications.

Hi, I want to create an advance form of 10 pages(single form-page break view).
  • Once created i want to display the data in front end in “Table Format”. But each page should reflect each row, while export to excel it should do the same.
    • And I have multiple same fields in a form. means I collect same field data multiple time in same form. Please advise asap

It has a admin menu called eform custom export. We can enter form id and export to excel according to page wise. If you can test this and make it work finetune. A terrible problem arose that when I go to configurations in forms, instead of a normal window with options, I get a broken setting on a dark background. Nothing helped, I disabled all plugins and left only Forms, perhaps a conflict, but again it did not help and I do not understand how to fix it.

How come there has been no updates in over a year now? I am only asking because i have people who keep making submissions and for whatever reason seems like attachments are not coming in. Only happens on one site but was hoping an update would have resolved this issue.

1. Remove all the buttons from the form through the setting. 2. Add JS for escaping the enter key event. You can add this script using the Embed code element -

Hello, Since some times when you sub,it a form it will be spinning without end. However, if you check the form it has been submitted and received on admin and via email but the use is not shown that the form has been submitted.

To compare server speed, please check the same form on our demo server at demo.eform.live. You need to export your form from your server and import it on our demo server.

This will help us to determine if the issue is not related to server resources.

Hello, I am having a problem that has not occurred to me before. In my test environment, PHP 7.4, Wordpress 6.4.5 works without problem. When installing it where my client has the same configuration I get “Server Side Error” I change PHP 8 and no problem, but when I make this change the other site they have within the hosting goes down.
