I’m using the Woocommerce integration. If a user submits the form, the product is there in the cart ready to checkout. However, most users do not buy on the first visit. The follow up email contains a link to the edit page of their submission. If a user clicks through from the email, resubmits the form from the edit submission screen, then redirects to cart page, the cart is empty. I only just noticed this problem, but I know this was previously working fine. Also, I created a test form with only a few elements. It is experiencing the same issue.

Hello,

We are not managing the WooCommerce cart from our end once the submission is redirected to WooCommerce checkout or the WooCommerce Cart, it can only be controlled through the WooCommerce settings.

The product in the cart would be available if the user is redirected to the same browser where he has submitted the form in the first instance.

Let me know if you have further queries,

Thank you!

I know the plugin uses a cookie to track returning users. However, over 90% of my users are on mobile. Most do not buy on the first visit. So it makes sense that many of these users who return through an email link may likely return from a different device. Not covering this return path creates a “leaky conversion bucket”. The more leaks one has the harder it is to make the traffic profitable.

Hello,

I can understand your concern but unfortunately, we do not have the requested feature at this moment.

Hello,

Apologize for the inconvenience caused.

The problem may occur because the Let’s Encrypt CA certificate has expired at the end of September 2021 (reference)

Some sites using Let’s Encrypt certificates have been affected. You can contact your hosting provider and ask them to update the CA certificate on their server.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks!
