Yes, you can use regex for this. You can insert in the rule settings, in the ‘Run Regex On Content’ field your regex that matches the internal links. You can test the regex, here: https://regexr.com/
The replacement, should be inserted in the ‘Replace Matches From Regex’ settings field.
Another option for you would be the ‘Replace All URLs from Content With This URL’ option from plugin’s ‘Main Settings’. But note that this will apply to all importing rules and will replace all urls from the content (not just internal ones).

Can’t add more than 19 feeds on the back-end, tried double checking the feed URL but it works. All the other feeds are running without a problem at different times per website.

First of all thank you for your purchase.
This issue is caused by a PHP limitation you have on your server – max_input_vars is set to 1000.
To solve this, you have two options:
1) In the plugin settings, in the page where you try to input more then 19 rules, please input in the ‘Rules Per Page:’ settings field, a value smaller than 19 – ex: 15. This will make the plugin to display only 15 rules at once (per page) and will allow you to create more than 19 rules. The new rules will be available if you click the pagination links that will be given to you in the plugin.
2) you edit your .htaccess file or your php.ini file on your server and increase the max_input_vars value to a greater number, ex: 9999. Help on this, you can find here: https://www.a2hosting.com/kb/developer-corner/php/using-php-directives-in-custom-htaccess-files/setting-the-max-input-vars-directive-in-an-htaccess-file

Yes, you can grab anything if you specify it’s (or it’s container div’s) HTML class or id in the ‘Search Query String’ text field for the rule that imports posts. if you have other questions, please let me know.

ok im struggling to understand how it would be done, im currently taking full posts from 1 website, (this site is being took as full content from query type class and : Search Query String (Optional): article-content) they have posts that sometimes have videos in them and the video is not being displayed on my website,
possibly because its uploaded to their site?
also some sites i want to take from have posts with pagnated content. like 4 posts click next page to see the next 4 etc. any way to extract it all?
You should check the the class or id of the container that contains the video and input it next to the ‘Search Query String’, like this:
Search Query String (Optional): article-content,div-class-that-has-the-video
Regarding the paginated results, right now, I don’t have a way to grab those. I noted this on my todo list and I will think about a way to get those.

Also in regards to spinning content. is it possible to make your internal spinner produce content that is almost as unique is it currently is but make it more readable?
currently a lot of the posts i see spun are nearly complete jiberish and make hardly any sense.

I checked the image file that is not showing ( https://www.gartenbaumschulen.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/09-11-Herbstaussaat-von-Sommerbl%C3%BChern.jpg ), and in my browser, I get a ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED error. So, I think, that the source site (on which the image is), has some kind of protection, to not allow the direct download of their images.
This is just a guess though, can you send me, please the feed url with which you generated these posts (also plugin settings), so I can be sure of this? If you can, send me, please, screenshots of plugin settings to my email address: kisded@yahoo.com. Temporary admin login credentials are also a good alternative for screenshots sending. Thank you.

I have checked and some of the links you sent are not valid rss feeds:
1) https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/rss-feeds – the error is: SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate
2) https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motoring/autocarcouk-news-rss – this one is working
3) https://www.whatcar.com/news/car-rss-feed-changing/ – this is not a valid rss feed (opened it in browser, and it seems as a webpage to me)
4) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/rssfeeds/ – this one is also ok.

Hi! For me it not works, not version 4.1.4 and not version 4.2.3.
To be honest, it generates posts and it looks like it can do it in a way I need it, but I can’t work normally because when I trying to “Run This Rule Now”, it shows error message “You have unsaved changes on this page. Please save your changes before manually running rules!”
Of course, I tried to save every possible thing, but it just continues to show these messages. Also, when I trying to switch pages, it shows the message “Changes you made may not be saved.”
I also deactivated all plugins except yours and deleted cache everywhere, but it still shows the same error.
At the beginning, I need a lot of testing to get your plugin work exactly as I want, and therefore I need the option to run rules manually…

Yes, this is possible, the plugin check this also. This is the first source the plugin will check to generate the post’s featured image. Be sure to not check the checkbox -> ‘Skip Checking Feed Image’ found in plugin’s ‘RSS To Post Rules’ -> click settings for the rule you want to edit -> ‘Skip Checking Feed Image’. If you uncheck this, the first image that will be checked is the enclosure url image.

For checking i have been set options as – http://prntscr.com/ggw8j5 But posts do not created. In logs I see many records – Skipping post “Bla bla”, because it has no detected image file attached. “Enclosure url” exists for all feed items.

I found the bug. You have a function for checking valid images - echo_is_valid_img($img_type3, $img_url). But why you send headers array to it and check array with getimagesize? Strings 1495, 1513, 1517, 1551. With og:images you using function correctly.

The function echo_is_valid_img takes it’s first argument the ‘Content-Type’ argument from the image headers. This should contain the image type of the respective file. After this, the content type is compared to an array of preset supported image types. This is why the header is accessed for images.

I wrote about another, after check supported image (this chek is correct):

Yes, this is possible. Please go to plugin’s ‘RSS to Posts Rules’ menu screen -> click ‘Settings’ for the rule you want to edit -> to the ‘Generated Post Content’ settings field, add the following:%%author%% will display the author of the article from the feed.

Hello, this makes little sense to me. How about this particular blog has 20 authors so I have to keep track of them? I know simple pie can pull the post author, is there a simple way to add this under the author dropdown allowing the plugin to be updated in the future?

Before, I said that this is not possible, because of a misunderstanding. I understood that you want to create posts with their author the name found in the article feed’s author name. This is possible, but I did not implemented this feature, because automatic user creation would over crowd WordPress with user accounts.

The %%author%% shortcode displays the textual author name of the source article (not the author of the WordPress article).
You can get a full list of available shortcodes, if you hover your mouse over the help question mark, next to ‘Generated Post Content’ settings field in the rule’s advanced settings.

I’m sorry the second paragraph is not clear to me. Hovering over the question mark under ‘Info’ gives me a popup and the only link is ‘View Generated Posts’ and it takes me to all the posts from this particular feed.
Under any post I can the ‘Echo Auto Generated Post Information” is this what you are talking about? it has a list of data from the specific post but it does not display any shortcodes.

I’ve just had an issue where duplicate posts were generated. The posts were created from two different sources, using two different rules. The titles of the posts were identical. The only difference was that the slug was appended by -2 on the duplicate post.
In the main settings, the check box under “Do not check for duplicate posts” was unchecked for all the rules.
One thing though that I did notice, is that Generated Post Format was different for the rules in question. One rule was set to Standard, the one one to Aside. Maybe that’s what caused the duplication? Anyway, I just thought I’d let you know.
On a separate note, I have been struggling to get the Percentage of the Content to Keep (set to 30) to work properly. The only way it worked on the feeds I aggregate was if I checked the Strip HTML from Full Content box. What I am I likely to be doing wrong?

To check if the post already exists, the plugin checks the title of the post. So, if the initial source has appended a ‘-2’ to the end of the title (like in this case), then it will recognize it as different post and will post it. The plugin does not add ‘-2’ by itself.

Yes, the titles of the post were the same. The slug was appended by -2 (I think this was WP handling attempt to create identical slugs).

At first, you would need PHP7 for better memory management. Also, get away from VPS and make sure you have a good server cpu, ram and ssd drive for mysql.
Also, at the moment, the plugin has a limitation: minimum scheduled import interval is 1 hour.

Well, I don’t have enough experience with different hosting providers to make a recommendation (so far, I only purchased hosting from a single company).
Regarding the 1 hour limitation, it can be lifted if you request a custom plugin version. I made this limitation to not let users (that don’t know what they are doing) to over drive their server and PHP and to complain afterwards about the plugin.
