Quick question. We know for other type of businesses, to add a product we can easily add both product purchase and sell prices, but how we do for adding restaurant food menu such as a plate of rice, grilled fish/salad, etc… Do you think we need to add purchase price to that as well? I don’t think so because it’ll be hard to get purchase price of each meal. Your thoughts please.

To do these kinds of things, you have to make use of the manufacturing module.
So inside the manufacturing module, you have to create different recipes.
For example, you can create a recipe for one plate of rice, grilled fish, or salads and inside that, you can give all the ingredients that will be needed for that particular quantity. And when you will do the production of that one, then the quantity of the ingredients will reduce and the quantity of these items will increase.

thanks for your response but I didn’t make myself clear. I’m talking about selling products. On add new product page, I don’t think we should have product buying price section for restaurant foods. Because I don’t know how once can get the buying price of a plate of food. We know the selling price but not the buying price. What you think?
You can enter the buying price in add product screen as 1 or some other number as it’s not of much use if product is not purchased.
Can we have “Reset Stock” and “Delete Location” Features?

I’m considering buying Ultimate POS. On the product page it says “Will it work offline? Yes, it works offline.”
However, when I test the demo and disconnect my internet connection, the system stops working.
Can you please clarify exactly how “offline mode” works?
Does “offline” mean the system works only if it is installed on localhost (XAMPP/WAMP) or on a local LAN server?
If my internet is down , will the POS (sales, inventory, invoices, printing) continue to work normally?
Which features do NOT work without internet (example: card payments, SMS/email, updates?
If I have multiple cashier computers, can they all keep working without internet, as long as they can access the local server?
Is any extra module required for offline use / offline sync, or is it included in the main package?
This is very important for me because I need the POS to work during internet outages.

Yes the system works when installed in localhost without internet connection.
Using a local server we can use almost all of the features but any feature that needs an internet connection (for example sending emails, SMS, payments) will not work when installed locally
For offline use you have to simply use it in the localhost using LAN connection. There is no sync option as of now.

Hi, I’ve been using UltimatePOS for several years and recently noticed an issue related to stock transfer between multiple stores.
When I transfer items from Shop01 to Shop02, the stock does not increase in Shop02, nor does it decrease in Shop01. Could you please guide me on whether this is a configuration issue or a bug? Also, I’d like to understand the expected purpose and behavior of the stock transfer feature.

1. Yes, there is a feature called stock adjustment. Using this any stock that is damaged, you can put it into a stock adjustment and that much stock will be reduced from your inventory stocks.
2. There is only one for closing the cash register. When the cash register is closed, they have to enter all the details of whatever cash they have collected.
3. Yes Ultimate POS has a mobile app, which only has some of the features related to kiosk selling.

Ultimate pos is good. However there are errors in stock which really needs to be addressed because stock quanity is not accurate at times the system at times says a different quantity . 2. create a way that users can post sales by choosing a date instead posting all the sales at a go. if you fix for us these two we will appreciate big time

1. Regarding the stock quantity, please be assured that we have ways to fix this one. If there is any problem, then we can easily fix it by visiting some of the pages or by following some of the steps mentioned in our documentation.
2. You can select the date. There is an option to enable. By enabling that option, it will show you the date picker, and with that you can select the dates of the sales.

Yes we have a feature inside Ultimate POS using the CRM module.
Customers can view all their orders & payments made & due. But as of now, there is no way to have the customers create the sale. We will check and add this in future releases.
But for now, we recommend using the features that we have.

I have informed you many times about this issue and provided all the necessary details. I even created dedicated servers with a simulation account for you. It has been more than six months, yet you neither tested the system nor attempted to fix the bugs or continue the development.
Now the problem has come back to me, and now I am trouble because all invoices warning and error till today not get a single invoice with 100% success but I trusted you to fix this and I share lot details but I did not receive what I expected.

1. You can install Ultimate POS in your local and start using it in your local without any internet connection. As of now, there is no data synchronization feature available.
2. We don’t have a Windows version as of now. But as said above, you can install it locally and use it on your local computer.

I am a verified buyer of Ultimate POS and currently facing a critical issue with the official mobile app provided by your team.
I have already opened a support ticket (Ticket #14185) on your support portal 5 days ago, but I have not received any further response after providing full clarification.
Issue summary (very important):
Sales created successfully in the Ultimate POS mobile app
After clicking the Sync button, sync appears to complete
BUT sales do NOT sync to the web/desktop Ultimate POS
Sales do not appear in:
Desktop sales list
Reports
Any synced transactions
This is not a loading issue — the sync finishes but data is not transferred.
Additionally:
The Share button in the mobile app does nothing (no WhatsApp or share options open).
Since this is the official mobile app of Ultimate POS and is critical for real business usage, I kindly request:
Confirmation whether mobile → web sales sync is fully supported
Any required server/API/cron configuration (if applicable)
A clear fix or limitation explanation
I request the author team to please check my support ticket and respond, as this affects production use.

How can they create this for a particular product? with seperate prices for the catoon, H/ctn and so on
Using the unit feature only multiply the single product price times the number of 1unit, which doesn’t make sense for someone that needs to sell carton cheaper than buying in single

You can see the inventory valuation inside the stock report.
If you want to see it for individual products, you can just go to the product history, and there you will find only the stock-related information – all the transactions of the stocks for that particular product.
