Hello,
I dropped you a message yesterday regarding the new Uncode theme update and the broken layout on mobile view after applying filters. Could you please take a look at the details in my private message?
Thank you!
Hi simon_skybox
Unfortunately, there is no support for accounts whose support period has expired following the support policy.
But we can help you later after all requests from accounts with valid support periods are processed. It may take some time – days or weeks.
If you want to receive it faster, please extend your support period, and this request, will be processed in the first queue for supported accounts.
But here is what you can do, write more descriptive information about the issue.
1) Link to the exact page with the issue
2) Step-by-step instructions on how this issue can be recreated
3) Would be also nice to have screenshots or any screen recording when you are showing it
So we could check it right away.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi, I’ve just bought new license with extended support period. Can I send details you mentioned in points 1-3 directly on your support email?
Yes, sure you can send them via PM if you do not want to share them publicly.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Thanks. I’ve just sent you all the details.
Hello, I’m following up on our discussion about plugin support following my purchase of the pro version (https://wordpress.org/support/topic/is-filtereverything-compatible-with-block-themes/#post-17849147).
Dropdowns no longer work since version 1.8.3 (they worked perfectly in 1.8.2). After a selection, they reload but nothing changes in the page and no variable is passed (in Ajax or string).
As mentioned above, I’ve tried disabling all the other plugins, the select2 options, Ajax, etc., but nothing works.
My theme is a block theme created with Create Block Theme.
Here is 2 versions of this site (and a page with filters) : with 1.8.2 version (free version) : https://ccha.hippocampestudio.fr/evenements/ with 1.8.3 version (pro version) : https://cchadev.hippocampestudio.fr/evenements/ And with 1.8.3 : nothing happens
Hi hippocampestudio
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

Done !
We have checked the site, this is not the issue with the plugin version. You have some server configuration issues, as AJAX is not working on it correctly. We have installed the free version of the plugin 1.8.2 it didn’t work, we also installed PRO version 1.8.1 it also didn’t work.(We left olde version of the plugins on the site)
If you go to the filters -> Settings -> General tab and turn off AJAX from there it will work. But with AJAX it is not working on your custom theme or on the default theme. Maybe you modified the default 2024 as well, but on our back, it is working with 2024 and AJAX without any issues. As we can say even more we personally use this plugin with default 2024 theme with AJAX for our personal site.
Here is the screenshot of it on our local testing environment with the 2024 default theme and AJAX – https://prnt.sc/sWDsW2JTvL_i also the screen of the theme – https://prnt.sc/0v-HYxbBV1Q6 latest version.
So this AJAX issue is only server-related. Try it on any local servers to test it, perhaps it will help you to debug what could cause this issue on your server.

- Victor
During your test, you had the wrong container name… If you go back to the admin and see that version 1.8.2 works fine but the pro version doesn’t
What we really missed was that they were created dynamically, so they couldn’t be filtered out because they were breaking everything. So we added a class to your column – https://prnt.sc/9ox5zzBCapR- and specified it in the filter set for this page – https://cchadev.hippocampestudio.fr/evenements/ and here it is in the filter set – https://prnt.sc/L_nrNPahX3P- and everything is working with the latest version of the plugin.
Also, we used file manager and turned off your dropdown template – https://prnt.sc/Cp-rWHVj_oAW by simply renaming that folder. And dropdowns are working. So you might want to debug your template.
Yeah, that’s basically all. Thank you for pointing us to the class issue. We really missed that thing that they could be created dynamically.

- Victor
ok thanks, it works now! I no longer need the PRO version of the plugin, which I bought just to see if the problem only existed in the free version. How can I get my money back?
In general, a refund is possible with the appropriate form from the account where the plugin was purchased. Please note, that the support team is not working with the refunds.
But this is the lifetime license with the lifetime updates as well. So you always can use it on the needed sites (as you can activate the license on two sites) with all of the PRO features that will be added in future updates.

Hi,
I noticed one problem. The plugin works correctly, but still Woocommerce create thousands URLs with the Woocommerce filter url. Ex.
CORRECT URL WITH YOUR PLUGIN https://********/shop/i-vini-francesi/vino-chardonnay/UNCORRECT URL GENERATED BY WOOCOMMERCE IN THE BACKEND (SCANNED IN GOOGLE SEARCH CONSOLLE)
https://***********/shop/i-vini-francesi/?filters=uvaggi%5B181%5D/I know my support is expired, but maybe is a quick fix with your experience
Thanks
Hi michaelcodogno
Honestly, you can absolutely ignore it. It is the same as opening even this site and checking the console, there will be errors as well, multiple warnings, etc.
Everything is working correctly, each filter has its URL, so you can copy it, and will be displayed with all of the filters included.

Hi, im finally getting around to using this plugin and am having a hard time with it. Im looking to create a filter option like the Womens Clothing Example: https://demo.filtereverything.pro/product-category/clothing/women/color-red/brand-hm/c-kind-dress/?max_price=100
Questions: 1. How do I set up filtering by color? 2. For product Type – can i select Categories? Or is the only option here simple, variable etc.. 3. If no to the above, i will use Categories (ex. Kind of Clothing in womens clothing example). Question is – can i only display select categories in this list (ex. we have many sub categories – i do not wish to display all of these). Is this possible?
Thank you in advance for your help!
Hi MikAtmondo
Following the support guidelines – https://codecanyon.net/item/filter-everything-wordpress-woocommerce-filter/31634508/support only one issue per request, please. So we can make support less confusing more efficient and fair for all of the users.
1) This is called color swatches, please visit this page in order to get information on how you can set it up – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/brands-and-color-swatches/
2) The product type is a Product Type filter. You can make a filter from any taxonomy and attribute and custom field.
3) When you create a filter by categories, you can click “more options” and use the include/exclude functionality in order to remove unnecessary categories from a filter.

I am using FE Pro on our website which also uses W3 Total Cache. An earlier support ticket regarding this same problem has already been resolved, however the problem persists.
The problem is that the filters just randomly stop working and no longer update the posts on the page. If I then go into the filter and click the update button, it will start to work again. Why is this happening?
I turmed off the W3 Total Cache according to your recommendations and that has helped somewhat, but ultimately the filters always stop working eventually. Having so many different filters on our website means that I have to edit multiple filter sets and click update for each. Having to do this over and over again is starting to become tiresome. Is there a way to prevent this from happening in future? A permanent solution. (Bear in mind that I’ve already disabled the W3 Total Cache caching to resolve this… can’t the plugin be made to work with W3 Total Cache?)
Many thanks in advance,
Anthony
Hi Anthony
If the filters stop working completely and only an update makes them work again, it means that either something in the database has been cleaned up and the necessary data has been deleted, or the queries on your site have changed due to some manipulations. It has been running on our test server for over a year now without such problems.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Do you run any cache plugins? Im using W3TC but have disabled the object cache.
Hi Anthony
WP Rocket and OPcache for PHP. And we have zero issues. Never stopped working or anything close to that. Of course when we edit the page or change the queries then we need to choose the correct query in the filter set and hit update, but if we are not changing it, it is working without issues. But on the other pages and other filter sets where we didn’t change anything they are working always.
Just we have a page for experiments so there are a lot of changes that could be.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Thanks for the info Victor. Our website is still in development and some of the pages with the filters on have been changed lately, so perhaps that has been the cause of the filters failing and needing to be updated. I’ll look further into this.
One final question, what values do you have for your cache expiry numbers for the opcache and Wp Rocket?
Many thanks,
Anthony
If we remember correctly for the OP
opcache.revalidate_freq: 60 seconds
opcache.max_accelerated_files: 10000
opcache.memory_consumption: 128 MB
opcache.interned_strings_buffer: 8 MB
rocket
Cache Lifespan: 10 hours
Best Regards,
- Victor
Thanks Victor, most helpful. I have configured the opcode cache with the recommended settings and will monitor the site using W3TC. If that fails then I may move over to WP Rocket and compare the differences.
Kind regards,
Anthony
Is there anyway to incorporate more relevant filters within the search results page?
Example link: https://desw2.sg-host.com/?s=Miraculous&post_type=product
I search “Miraculous” but the filter option in the left hand side are not relevant.
Hi matthewm174
Try to create a separate filter set and place it on the “Common WordPress pages + Search page” and then test it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi, thanks for building a great plugin!
Filter terms are showing but when I select filter terms the posts are not filtered. I am using the post card element within Avada and some ACF. There is no available choice for Query, the AJAX is disabled, and I have no cache plugin installed.
Please let me know, what I am doing wrong. Thank you
Hi lissalde
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

Hi Victor,
Sure thing, I already did this. Here is the link for the page I am trying to filter: https://itsfrom.eu/test-of-postcard/
Looking forward to hear from you.
Can you please check if everything is working now?
Best Regards,

It works now! Thanks a lot
So, all we did was go to the filter set and click the Update button inside it.

Hi, I bought your plugin, I use elementor pro, acf free, thema kadence
I did some tests but without results, I created a site to allow people to be able to select their research, I created cpt and taxonomies, the site is online, provisionally I deactivated the menu and I inserted a temporary menu.
I created custom ami for each category or taxonemies with elementor for the archive, below you find examples and I would like to keep these URLs.
The filter must go to the left sidebar
URL region https://www.buonosanoitaliano.it/regione/abruzzo/ Province URL https://www.buonosanoItaliano.it/provincia/agrigento/ URL category https://www.buonosanoItaliano.it/prodotto/agriturismo/ Traditional URL products https://www.buonosanoItaliano.it/tag-prodotto/miele-di-comagno/ Biological products URL https://www.buonosanoItaliano.it/tags-bio/cipolla/ Company page https://www.buonosanoItaliano.it/made-in-italy/
I had inserted the Shorthcode [Fe_widget], but it did not work for me, from some evidence if I selected another region (Piedmont), the data appeared on the page of the Abruzzo region instead of viewing in that of Piedmont and the filter was always at 0.
You can explain to me if it is possible and how I have to do
Thank you

Thank you
Hi Popsicle
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
Well, it all depends on what you are looking for. But here’s what you can do, you can write a detailed “Technical Task” and send it via PM – https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support so we can ask any freelancers that we know if they would like to take this project, and how much would they take for such type of work.

Hi there,
I am using Woo + Divi + Filter Everything Pro /w ajax/ + W3TC for lazy loading images.
Currently, when I load a category page – everything is fine, but if I apply a filter – the products would load without thumbnails, or rather the src will be a placeholder and the src that should be loaded, stored in data-src, never is.
Suggestions?

Hi We haven’t seen any feedback through mail so that’s why im asking here if you don’t mind:
We only had 2 questions before buying it.
1. When setting up the options “any” for all seo settings, we have a little problem because when you’re on a filter page and filter 2 or more attributes + categories, you won’t see it in the window tab above^ For example: Websitename | Category + attribute This doesn’t work?
Our other question is: When going directly to a subcategory page you won’t see the other subcategories (only the one you selected). Is it possible to enable this?
We don’t know what to use… Because google also indexes the product category pages. Or should we only use the filter links and disable indexing of product category pages?
Thank you in advance!
Hi Sam
1) You need to create SEO Rules for every mix, for example:
color any color any + size any size any + weight any color any + size any + weight any
This mix of 1 any + 2 any + 3 any will work if you choose one term from each filter. Also if you choose more than one attribute from one filter SEO Rules won’t work in order to provide good practices SEO. Something like an iPhone gray or silver or gold can be treated like spamming sites by search engines.
2) For this you might want to create either custom filter sets for each category, and remove not needed categories from them or use CSS to hide them.
Well, SEO can be tricky sometimes and it all depends on the site and what you are trying to reach. By default, you cannot make category filters indexable on category pages.

Hello Victor,
URL : https://outdoorcookingexperiencecenter.community/books/
Don’t know what my website developer send to you. But this are the two issues we can’t fix and we need help for.
The issue is about the BOOKS FILTER.
Hide empty filters is selected. But still we see them. How to solve this?
We activated an extra selection filter called SUBJECT. It isn’t displayed. How to solve this?
Thanks for your help.
Hi Mbieckmann
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Best Regards,

Are send to you.
We have checked the filter set settings and they do not have an option to hide empty filter terms (it is set to never hide) – https://prnt.sc/qSBZbQfABL5m the only option that turned on is to hide empty filters. If you set it to “always hide” it will hide them. Also, you do not have any object filter that you mentioned in that filter set.
As you see on the page when you are logged in as admin there is an edit button at the bottom of filters – https://prnt.sc/Y6VGcsYxH3ey you can click it and it will send you to edit the exact filter set that is placed on this page.

Solved. Thanks for your help.
Hi there!
I’ve purchased your wonderful plugin yesterday for my project and while everything seems to work great, the ‘counters’ are always displaying ‘0’.
I am using Semplice as theme, and the filters are filtering the project grid as expected. It’s only the counters that seem to be an issue. And I need the counters to have the real number as I want to use the option ‘Hide empty Filters’.
Support would be appreciated, thanks!
– Mick
Hi Mick
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
Try to place a filter set on a certain page only and test if it will show counters or not. Also, the issue can be connected to the cache plugins or the wrong query chosen in the “and what to filter” inside the filter set.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
As per your guidance, I have created a simple page, added a portfolio grid and the filter, but it still shows ‘0’s.
I have also cleared all cache using ‘Clear Cache for me’ and also try to select different query in the ‘what to filter’ but still nothing.
There must be something I am missing.
Best,
– Mick
Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it?
Also, please do not skip this step as it is very important, send the link to the page where you are having this issue so we can check it right away and test it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
All done, and PM sent. Thanks,
– Mick
We have checked the site if you go to that page where you are testing the filters and on the browser tool and go to the console you will see that you have a “mixed content” issue. Please fix it, and more likely it will fix the issue with the counters right away.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Thanks for pointing out, I have now fixed the ‘mixed content’ issue but the counters are still not working properly.
I don’t understand why.
Best,
– Mick
Hi Mick
We need some extra time in order to find the cause of it, it seems like there is some incompatibility with the way this theme is working, but we are not 100% sure yet.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Thanks for the update. No worries, please let me know when you are able to tell me how to resolve it. Many thanks.
Best,
– Mick
Hi Mick
The development team has checked the site and this theme. And yes, there is a conflict with the theme that you are using. Let’s say that the realization of it is rather “unique” and does not follow WordPress standards. So we cannot make m7ch here in order to make it work, also we are not sure what other issue can come up with it.
We really would recommend either themes like Avada, or page builders like Elementor, Divi, etc. Or you can try to use any post grid plugins in order to display your products and use that page to filter them.
But with this theme, it won’t work no matter how you will display your posts. Even with the simple WP_Query that we tried, it is still showing (0) everywhere. If we switch the theme it is working as it should.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Thank you so much for the time you took to investigate.
It is disappointing indeed. I can’t change the theme unfortunately so I will have to find a solution.
I am open for any ideas/suggestions for a workaround if you can have a think?
Best,
– Mick
Hi Mick
Unfortunately, there is nothing much that we can do from our side. As the issue in the theme itself.
We personally can check it after working time, if there’s something that could be possibly done about it. But we are not promising anything.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
That’s very kind of you, thanks! Let me know if you have an idea.
Best regards,
— Mick
Hi Mick
We have spent some time on our local dev server in order to check if there is a possibility to make it work normally. And we are back not with good news. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done on the plugin side to make it work, it would require rewriting the theme functionality, which is an absolutely bad idea as with each new update you would need to update this as well.
So at this point, the only best option is to use another theme. It does not give a lot as a constructor, and we are not sure how many more plugins are incompatible with it.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
First of all, thank you so much for having taken the time to investigate here, really appreciate.
I was kinda expecting that answer sadly. I have already tweak the theme a little bit via a child theme, but I don’t think I will have the knowledge (and time) to modify it in depth.
The filter works at the moment, it’s just not allowing users to select a brand and only show the available categories and vice and versa. Annoying for not a blocker.
I’ll have a think if I can do something in Javascript. Not sure.
Thanks again for your stellar support.
Best,
– Mick
Well, from our own experience Mick, it is really not worth it. Quite a lot of time to absolutely learn the way the theme works, then write a custom code to make it work in the needed way and maintain this code with every new update of the theme.
Choose the already working theme and use a plugin to create your own CPT and display it on the page use the needed CSS to make them look as you want, and done. Use custom fields for the needed data. Maybe it will take a day or two, but it will never break and would work fine.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor,
Totally agree.
To be honest with you, I looked at the solution to use a simple post display plugin to make the project grid and have the filter working correctly BUT, for some reason, the theme is storing the thumbnail differently than adding it as ‘featured thumbnail’ to the ‘project’ post type. Therefore, the grid can’t find the images… Annoying.
If I were to find a solution, I can maybe use the Rest API with JS and hide the filter options that need to be hidden. Maybe.
Thanks,
– Mick
Hi there,
I recently moved my site from one server to a new one. The domain has also changed.
I deactivated the pro plugin on my original test site https://matthewm288.sg-host.com/shop/
And activated etc everything on my new test site https://desw2.sg-host.com/shop/
On the new test site it looks like all filters are still working properly on my pages but the /shop/ filter doesn’t seem to be appearing.
Does the switch have anything to do with this and how do I fix?
Hi matthewm174
If you used any migration plugin to move the site to another server etc, it could cause data corruption and other issues. We’d recommend deleting it fully and creating a new one from scratch. As it is hard to find the root of the issue. Also, check if your site doesn’t have any mixed content issues.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi Victor, thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
I rebuilt the filter and it’s not showing.
Yes I did use a migrator plugin. What I notice that’s different from my old site and the new one is the query. I can’t select the same settings (Product Query. Main Query.) in the new site vs the old one.
Also, it may be worth mentioning I had your help recently to get a filter on the actual products page.
Hi there, I managed to fix it.
I had to delete and reselect the filter everything plugin within the widget section.
Note for others: When I did this, some previously built settings (parent filter) rest themselves and had to be repicked.
We are glad to hear that the issue was resolved. You did a good job.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Suppose there are different tones and shades of a color. Displaying all these colors in the filter set make color filter disproportionally larger than others. Is it possible to just show only one color on filter and when user select that colors, they get result of all tones and shades of that color? Can we achieve this with your plugin?
Apart from this, can we style your filters to match with the styling/branding of website?
Hi raeen0
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
Yes, you can create two attributes with different terms, one is color tones, and the second one is color groups. So that you can apply it to the needed product, color, and also to the group, for example, brown, red, and blue. And tones can be like light blue, etc. And create filters only from color grounds and not their tones.
Yes, you can apply all of your needed custom CSS styles from the Filters -> Settings -> Experimental -> Custom CSS.
Best Regards,
- Victor
can you please elaborate this “you can create two attributes with different terms, one is color tones, and the second one is color groups. So that you can apply it to the needed product, color, and also to the group, for example, brown, red, and blue. And tones can be like light blue, etc. And create filters only from color grounds and not their tones.”.
Can I test it with free version before buying?
Hi raeen0
What we are referring to is that for your Woo products, you can create two attributes in the Products -> Attributes.
1) Attr1: Attribute that will be responsible for the exact color (sky, light blue, dark blue, etc)
2)Attr2: General attribute with basic colors (blue, green, red)
Let’s say you created 3 products with the next attributes:
1) Prod1 -> attr1: sky
2) Prod2 -> attr1: light blue
3) Prod2 -> attr1: dark blue
All of them have different color shades, but since we created the Attr2 with general colors, we can apply this to our products like this:
1) Prod1 -> attr1: sky -> attr2: blue
2) Prod2 -> attr1: light blue -> attr2: blue
3) Prod2 -> attr1: dark blue -> attr2: blue
This way, in the filter set, we can create two filters, one filter from attr1 (responsible for exact color shades) and the second one from attr2 (working as a basic colors group).
So when you choose the color blue it will display all of the products with other blue shades, when you check the exact color it will display only this exact shade color.
So you can have two filters color groups and color shades(for those who want the exact color to find).
Best Regards,
- Victor
This is possible only when I make them both of these variation attributes. In that situation both will be displayed on single product page creating confusion among them and distorting user experience.
This is not a solution
This is a common problem you should address this since it’ll benefit everyone.
We will make sure to inform the development team about this. This feature may be added in future updates. When we have any news, we will let you know in this comment section.
Best Regards,
- Victor
Hi, I am facing an issue while using filtereverything plugin. I just created a Search Filter, using a custom field for the checkbox, At first, it worked fine, but now it’s not showing any value in the search filter.
Please visit this URL: https://outdoorcookingexperiencecenter.community/books/
Also, when I select an option from the filter, it shows an alert message, please check this as well on these 2 links:
1. https://outdoorcookingexperiencecenter.community/books/ 2. https://outdoorcookingexperiencecenter.community/restaurants/
Hi markb219
Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.
The search field never showed any propositions during searching. It can only show the already entered terms in any input field, but when you clean the cookies in your browser it will gone. If this is what you are asking about.
Not exactly sure what type of alert you are mentioning, but when you are using the AJAX please check this page on how to configure it correctly – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/ajax-instructions-only/

i had change my website domain once, and one of my website doesnt work , may i change the domains i bind with my license key?
Hi sunnydaysunny
If you mean that you have applied license on two sites already, and you cannot activate it on the needed one then we can deactivate it. All you need to do is send the license key via PM – https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support

Can I customise it to filter users? We want to be able to search and filter users, based on user meta data.
Something similar to the edit query filter here: https://searchandfilter.com/documentation/action-filter-reference/
Hi khill22
Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.
If you create CPT users and display the data with the help of WP_Query, then you can filter them on the front by custom fields data.
Best Regards,
- Victor
