Hello, we attempted to set up your plugin, but unfortunately, it is not what we are looking for in our website. Our intention was to have users redirected to the taxonomy archive page when they select any of the taxonomies from the dropdown filter list. However, the plugin currently filters it on the same page and generates its own URL instead of redirecting it to the taxonomy archive page. This is causing confusion for visitors because some of the CPTs are connected to more than one taxonomy. It’s difficult to explain without showing it, so we kindly request a refund. Thank you.

You can use any taxonomy crawling plugin/mega menu for that, but it will not be a filter by any means if it works based on your description.

Taxonomy crawler and filtering are different things. For example, you want to choose multiple category filters at the same time on a certain page or only want to display posts that have the category gold + watch, not separately gold or watch. Crawler won’t help here.

As far as we know about typical good practices when building such sites, there is a catalog usually a taxonomy pages list, and in each taxonomy page, they have detailed filters, so they are not navigating on the site with the filter they navigate by taxonomy crawler/mega menu and only on those pages use detailed filters with all of the possible attributes.

In general, a refund is possible with the correct form from the account where the plugin was purchased. Please note that the support team is not working on the refunds.

Is there a way to speed up the filtering, after every filter change there is loading pages / icons , seemingly regardless of settings in the plugin? Is there any way to remove these / recommendations to speed it up more? Thank you

Not even sure what we can recommend here, it is filtering quite fast. It cannot be instant just choose a filter and it will immediately filter posts in 0.01sec. You can try to use OPCache, Redis/Memcache in order to speed it up.

Thank you, it seemed slower on their screen recording I suspect the internet connection will be affecting this too, we are looking at using Memcache to help with this also. Thanks for the help

Yes, definitely it could be the internet connection, because, on your video, it was quite fast. If you open any online shops, there will be the same or even x2-4 times slower speed. But we have clients that did fantastic optimizations on their sites, and it is working almost instantly. Unfortunately, they do not share their optimization techniques.

We’ve just purchased the pro version of Filter Everything which i’m trying to get working with our WP site which is using the Avada Theme through the Postcards module.

I’ve built a basic ‘Meet the Team’ page using ACF and is working fine. I’ve created a filter set using FE and when I include the filter on the page (via shortcode) I’m getting the message ‘No one filter set is related to this page’

Please can you help to what might be causing this issue?

In order to display filters on the home page, inside the filter set “Where to filter” dropdowns you should place it on the “Common WordPress page + Homepage” or on some themes you can choose the “Pages + name of the page”

Is it posible to merge colors? Let’s say i have some products with colors “Dark bronze” “Coper bronze ” “Bronze” “Metalic Bronze” I would like to display them in filters just as a “bronze”

No, unfortunately, there is no such function in the plugin. What you can do is create another attribute named “color groups” create the needed terms and apply them to your products. Then you can create a filter by those groups’ attributes.

If you are not using WooCommerce, then you can create another custom field with names for your color groups.

I am creating a portfolio filter for our case studies and using your awesome plugin.

However I am now stuck to the filter not showing the two different categories of barrier removal types. In the filter it shows Dam Removal correct but the Weir removals are now showing.

These are the project categories. What could I be doing wrong?

Yes that is correct, however if I also select “weir removal” in the portfolio categories the filter does not work anymore.

If you change those values, you need to go back to the filter set and update it so it will work with the changed query on that page, since you have changed values to what it should display.

I have the Pro version, and in some cases, the “pretty” URL formatting is great, but I would also like to format the URL as a Query String after the page slug. Is there a setting or code snippet for that? Please let me know.

Hello there, i have enable the button see more/see less for more than 5 rows in a filter. I enable it and i need the word see more to be in greek (Περισσότερα). Where can i find the file in the root of filter everything pro, so i can change the word of the button (see more / see less)?

I just purchased this and the directions are confusing.

So I am putting products in a separate category in woocommerce. Each product has a custom variant such as sub-category, color, size.

so if I go to say shirt category and it has size and color but does not have another varient like length but the category pants does. how can I keep the set length from showing in the shirts category?

No, unfortunately, we do not debug or provide any custom codes as it is out of the scope of support policies.

Thanks for the good plugin. There were difficulties with the SEO Rule settings. No matter how I tried with different options, I can’t do it like in your example. Example: https://dev.saraya-shop.com.ua/product-category/ditjam/ I can send you access to the admin panel.

We have checked the site, turned off plugins, etc. But the issue is in your custom theme or custom code that you have in your theme, if you choose the default WP theme 2021 you will see that everything is working as it should.

I found the problem spot in my site theme. The problem was in re-sorting of products, products whis status “out of stock” I output in the end of list.

I run this plugin on my staging & production sites, but I can’t update the one on production. Probably due to the fact that the license was first installed on staging.

Can you change it so that I can update the plugin on production?

Ah, okay now we see the issue. You can download the plugin from this site, and go to the Go to the Plugins -> Add New Plugin -> Upload Plugin -> Choose File and select the plugin zip -> Install Now in order to have the latest version.

How come I can update it on my staging via the normal way, but on production I have to download another zip. And this means that with future updates I have to do the same?

Honestly, we are not exactly sure about it. This should work normally, but on some sites, there is an issue with it. Generally, you can wait a day or two and try to update it once more if it will work on your site.

Perhaps on the prod site, you have other server settings or some conflicts which is causing it.

Hello, I’m trying to activate the license I bought on one of my websites. I had already activated it before, but since I had several problems I had to delete the plugin and install it again and now it tells me that “This license key is already used for two sites.”

Is there a way to unlink one of the licenses that I had already used on one of the websites to activate it again on the same domain?

All in One SEO seems to have higher priority and overwrites the SEO titles and descriptions i set for filters. Any way to stop it from doing this? or make only this plugin it’s meta title and description display instead?

We think that this question should be redirected to the All in One SEO support, as it is rewriting it globally. But to be honest, we have a lot of clients using it with our plugin and everything is working fine on their side. So there are some settings in the plugin that needed to be configured in order to not rewrite anything above.

Because if our plugin SEO Rules rewrite everything globally then it would be an issue in our plugin.

Generally, there is no support for accounts whose support period has expired following the support policy.

But we can help you later after all requests from accounts with valid support periods are processed. It may take some time – days or weeks.

If you want to receive it faster, please extend the support period, and we will process the request with the priority for supported accounts.

maybe i should have worded that a bit differently, i see the seo description for the filter plugin and i also see one from the AIO seo plugin, but the AIO plugin seems to copy the description from the category page somehow. I thought you’d have some knowledge on how to make this one have higher priority cuz it confuses google search console.
