Hello, I bought and installed the pro version. I needed my animated gif to display 8 seconds animating. Now on pro version my gif doesnt animate, it acts as a still image. So is there a way to load gif? I dont need default animations like fade in / bounce etc offered by plugin / i need just original animation. Is it possible?

Yes, it is possible. When adding a “Static Image” as the loader, you can use a gif. Please see this example page on our demo site: Test for GIF.

Hello there! I just found this plugin and I want to buy it. I tried first the lite version on my website, running WP 5.1.1, but it doesn’t work quite well. After I enter the website, it goes away very fast (like half a second). Any idea what can I do? Please help!
Just some additional info: when I go in the plugin settings, to customize the website, it works ONLY if I don’t have my cursor on the page. As soon as I get my cursor on the browser, the loading disappears. I use a custom image with that up loading animation.

1. The preloader goes away very fast:
It sounds like your website loads very fast. Once the page content is loaded, the loading screen will disappear immediately.
In the pro version, there is a feature that allows users to set a minimum load time to prevent the preloader from ending too quickly. For more information about this feature please check the documentation: Control Minimum Load Time.
2. In fact this is not an issue. When customizing the preloader in the plugin’s settings panel, when the cursor hovers on the preview area, the preloader will end so that the users can see the effect of the “Ending Animation”.
On the page of LoftLoader Lite, there is a screen recording video showing how to use and preview the loading screen.

We checked your site and found that the problem is caused by some other CSS (the path to the stylesheet: your-website / wp-content / uploads / wp-less-cache / theme-less.css), which adds a black background color for the ”#loader” element.
We don’t know if this CSS was generated by a plugin or the theme on your site. So here is our recommended solution:
1. If it was generated by a plugin and you don’t need to use it, you can try disabling the plugin.
2. If it cannot be disabled, please try adding the following custom CSS code to your website to remove the background color of the loader:
#loftloader-wrapper .loader-inner #loader {
background: none;
}

How to add custom CSS code to your site:
Please add these CSS code via your admin panel > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
(You may need to clear your site cache and browser cache after adding custom CSS code.)
If you can’t find ”Additional CSS” in your customizer, then the customizer’s functionalities may be changed by the theme used on your site. You may need to check if your theme provides an alternative for adding custom CSS.
Or, you can use a third-party plugin to add custom CSS code. Please search with the keyword “custom css” on wordpress.org ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/custom+css/ ).

By the way, we found another problem:
There is an inline style “display:none” that is dynamically added to the ”#loader” element by JavaScript, causing the ”#loader” element to be hidden before the loading process is complete. We recommend that you check to see if other preloader plugins are used on your site, or if you have a built-in preloader feature in your theme. If so, please turn off the other preloader features.

Hello, we have a free version of this plugin in https://adamant.lt/miriadystudio/. We need the animation on preload to last longer (like 10 seconds). I just want to be sure that pro version has this feature – play video (in our case – gif) for custom duration.

In the pro version of LoftLoader, there is a feature that allows users to control the “Minimum Load Time”. So if you choose “Custom Static Image” as the “Loader” and then upload a gif, and the animation in the gif will play, say 8 seconds, you can set the minimum load time to 8 seconds, so that the full animation can be played before the loading screen disappears.

Hello again, one other issue I am having is that in my page editor I don’t have the custom “Any Page Shortcode” Field.
I tried switching to another theme, to the WP default theme and also turning on the classic editor and checking the settings for the fields shown on the page – nothing.
is there any other option to insert the shortcode for a single page to show properly? I would need that, especially for the demonstration purpose to show the client different options. thnx

Could you please check if you have enabled the “Any Page Extension” option in the LoftLoader’s settings panel (in “Advanced” > then find the “Check to enable Any Page Extension” option)?
Because not every user needs this feature, the shortcode field is not displayed by default. Users need to enable the feature first, save changes, then the shortcode fields will show on single pages.
Please also note: currently this feature only works for Pages. You will not be able to add shortcode to posts or other custom post types for now. (We have planned to support this feature for posts and custom post types in the next update of LoftLoader Pro.)
You may like to check the documentation “Display different loaders on different pages” for more details.

yes, I have seen the documentation and I know it only works on pages , so that’s exactly what I did. I also repeated the septs just now and FINALLY figured out that in Gutenberg your code is next to the page settings in the up(est) right corner (there is, fortunately, your star icon so I recognized it ;)). It is not showing under the editor anymore… You might want to change that in the documentation, at least for the WP users with versions since 5.0.

hello, I just purchased this wonderful preloader and everything is working fine, besides the iPad. I have chosen the vertical split animation for the reveal, and only on iPad, the image is shifted (it is already displayed as a split image slightly shifted, not my full image which is a logo, so that’s bad because now my logo looks like it is broken). Desktop and mobile are working fine, as already mentioned. can you give me a tip on how to fix it? I have a link, but since it is a work in progress I would only post it in a private message.

Hi, I just sent a support email per instructions w temp login (wp and ftp) – but wanted to quickly post here as well; after installing, this plugin seems to cause a lot of issues in wp-admin specifically causing error500 returns regarding admin-ajax.php script calls (error easily visible in console, just looks to hang and never load on anything using admin-ajax).
I have debugged quite a bit with no solid luck besides disabling the purchased plugin. Would really appreciate some assistance to get this resolved because beside this issue, on the front-end, it looks and performs great! Thanks in advance!

Hey there,
is it possible to disable the Page Loader via URL parameter? On some pages I would like the Page loader to appear by default. However if the user comes from an E-Mail or from an other specific page, I would like the Page Loader not to appear.
I think a good way to do it would be a URL parameter like ?pageloader=false. Is something like this possible?

In some cases, it can be useful to hide the preloader using URL parameters, but using the URL parameter to display the preloader is against the logic of the plugin. Because this plugin is designed to display a preloader (on selected pages) by default, not to hide a preloader by default.
In the plugin’s settings panel > “Display On”, users can control where to display the preloader. For example, if the user only choose to display the preloader on the homepage, then other pages will not have a preloder. In this case, the preloader will not be displayed even if the user adds the URL parameter to another page. Because the preloader code only loads on the page where the preloader is enabled by default.

Hi, I have an issue, the images shows at very end of page load; let us say I have 6 seconds page load. then I have 5 seconds with nothing and one Second of image. I have increased the minimum load time to 6.5 seconds, but then it increased my loading for the time of the icon load. which is not the goal… How to fix ?

I want to purchase this plugin, and I need following funcionallity:
1). Loader to be displayed only on TABLET and mobile, not desktop. Device settings doesn’t have tablet option.
2). There is image slideshow and audio that needs to be loaded to some percentage, prior to entering the page. Is it possible to check both prior to closing loading screen?

Hi. I purchased this plugin under the impression that I could have different preloader settings for each page on my website. I thought I could have vines on one page and boats on another. This is apparently not the case and this plugin doesn’t support multiple loading options for different pages. It isn’t what I expected, it isn’t going to work for me, and I would like my money back.

The current method of setting up different preloaders for different pages is not very intuitive, but it is the most flexible way we can find now. We will always improve our plugin, and if we can find a better solution in the future, we will update the plugin to make it more convenient and easy to use.
Thanks for your suggestion. We will take this into consideration. However, since the video files are usually quite large, loading a video may take some time and may slow down the preloader. Therefore, currently we are unable to determine if we will add this feature to the plugin. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you mean that you do not want the preloader to have a background? If the preloader has no background, there is no end animation.
In the Pro version of LoftLoader, you can set the “Fill Type” of the preloader’s background to be “No Color”. Then your preloader will not have a background. You may like to read the documentation: Background Basic Options.
And you can check this example: Preloader without Background.

Not on the contrary the fact that the precharger has a background is perfect (I opted for white). I would like just no transition effect when the site is displayed. (no fade, no slide left & right etc.) just a direct transition.
