Moreover, I do not see a purchased tag across your name. looks like you have got this plugin bundled with a theme. If so, I would request you to please contact your theme author to look into the issue and help you further. Usually theme authors alter the plugins a little before bundling it with the theme. Therefore, for accurate answers, it is always recommended to contact the theme author.

All the licenses available on Envato are lifetime licenses. This allows you to use the plugin on a single site for a lifetime with updates too.
It is just the support that you need to renew in case you want us to help you with any issue (that’s rare) that you may come across in the future.

Due to GDPR I have problems to use Google Fonts anymore. So installed my own fonts. But I am not able to use this fonts within your modules. Are you planning a function to upload own fonts? Or would it be possible that you provide me with css code to insert my fonts? I do not have a purchase code as I use your plugin within the theme The7. This is a really big problem in Germany – the GDPR is only a few days old and the first lawyers are already writing warnings to website owners who uses Google Fonts, which could be very expensive. Thanks so much for your help!
I just read in other comments that you think that Google Fonts will not be affected by GDPR. Well, as I said in Germany there are the first official warnings from lawyers. So we have to wait for a court decision which could take years. And if Google will change something… I did not hear something about that….

As of now, all the elements of the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder allow you to use Google fonts or the default fonts set in your theme. What you can do is, upload a font and add it to your theme, select the default option under fonts in the specific element of the Ultimate Addons. This will make sure that the font you’ve used in the theme is inherited in the element.
With regards to Google Fonts, I still haven’t come across any firm statement that says its illegal to you use them. You can refer to a couple of recent discussions I am following here and here among many others.
Anyhow, due to a lot of requests from users, our developers have been working on an option that will allow you to disable the use of Google Fonts if required. But, this means that your theme’s font settings will be inherited in the elements. This might take a while until we test and release it.

Hi, I need your opinion on this. I wrote to WP Bakery the following about their plugin Templatera “The template doesnt display correctly the elements I use of “Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder” but they do work on a regular page. You can see the example here. Page that the tab elements works ok is https://www.fabulosaestereo.com/programacion/ and then the same tab elements are in this page using Templatera and the tabs load incorrectly https://www.fabulosaestereo.com/pagina-de-prueba/.
Then they answer about your plugin Ultimate Addons “The issue is because the advanced tab elements added by ultimate add-ons are specific to the page where they are added. Due to this they fail to load their styles when rendered via a another shortcode such as templatera which pulls the content from template post type. A work around in this case will be to make the rendering of elements such as advanced tab independent of page/post where they are added. This will require the modification from ultimate add-ons developer for the output of elements such as advance tabs to make it independent of the page/post where they are added.”

You can already set up animations using the CSS Animation option under Column settings. Further, you can use an element like the info-box or the interactive banner that allow you to add a link to the entire box.

There is an issue with the plugin. We use a cdn plugin that uploads all media to CDN. All image work except the Background Images on the rows. They are blank. When disabling the CDN plugin, it works fine. That is an issue as we need to pull form a CDN. So the in the source, where it’s telling it to grab the image from the media library, something’s not quite right. Is this something that can be fixed right away? Otherwise, we will have to find a replacement add-ons plugin to handle this.

now on activation , i saw something that came into my concern.

on activation process (which happens with envato api) ,
you want a permission to Download My Purchased Items !
why do you need such a permission ?
and mostly important why do you want to download all my items that i’ve paid for?
i have bought “WPBakery Page Builder for WordPress (formerly Visual Composer)” and activated it, just like your addon over envato api
but they never asked this in their permission!
i have also bought “Slider Revolution Responsive WordPress Plugin”
and they did not ask for such a permission.
and i have also bought couple of other addon things which they needed to activate over envato api.
but none has ever asked for such a permission!
please explain why do you, as an addon, ever need such an access to download my purchased items ?
because others just need to “View your purchases of the app creator’s items”

Hello, We use this permission so we can download our plugin from Envato servers to your website and deliver automatic updates.
Other products you have mentioned most probably host their products on their own server (and not Envato) to deliver automatic updates, and that might be why they do not need that permission. Btw this happens with both versions 3.16.22 and 3.16.23. Fatal error is the same. It puts the entire admin down and deactivates plugin so the site is broken in front end.
Hopefully it’ll get resolved.
Note: I haven’t had issues with this plugin before and I have never contacted your support, it only occurred now.

Hi all, i have a problem with the “Fancy Text” element. I have my homepage with a full screen “Carousel” item and inside it there are 9 slides. Each slide has a “Fancy Text” element, but it works only on the first 5 slides. I’m using The7 theme, Visual Composer (5.4.5 version) and Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer (3.16.21 version). There are no errors in Console. I have the same problem on Chrome, Firefox and Safari (latest versions).

Hello. This plugin is bundled with Composer theme that I just bought. I’m having a problem with the display in Safari in Windows. Almost every element doesn’t display. No video background. No gradient. No flip boxes. No hover boxes. The site is a total mess. Can you help me fix it please? Problem is really with Safari in Windows only.

Hi guys. Just curious…I bought a theme that came bundled w/ WPB/VC and UAO but when I went to edit a row, it’s not how it normally looks. Instead of tabs across the top with the last option being to create the overlay as a pattern or color and make the separator, everything is on one page and has fewer options. I had finally mastered the row section and now it’s changed. I even had to check if UAO was activated! Is this how the new version is or is it supposed to be like it always has with the tabs?

I think the theme author might have changed a few things before bundling the plugins. You can try WPB/VC and UAO with any other theme such as Astra and see how it should actually work.
So it occurred to me that since I’ve bought this, to try installing the latest version and see if it made a difference. It’s now back to normal. The page I had the problem on was one of the demo pages I was modifying. Not sure if that had any effect. So please just disregard.

Our plugin by default inherits the font from the theme. Yes — it also comes with a Google Fonts functionality of its own. But regretfully, we do not have option to disable it completely.
If you’re concerned about GDPR, I think Google Fonts is GDPR compatible. Please see this discussion on GitHub about the same: https://github.com/google/fonts/issues/1495
I purchased this plugin because the plugin came bundled with a theme and I wanted to have the update, so now how do i update? should I delete the plugin and install new version? and my site content will not be affected?

Well, you can simply delete and re-install the latest version of the plugin available on CodeCanyon for now. Once done, you can activate your license, so that you get update notifications and will be able to update the plugin directly from the updates page in your WordPress backend.

Well, I haven’t heard of Google fonts affecting GDPR. However, I am sure Google will handle this well at their end, since they too are working towards it.
We’ll keep an eye regarding this and if there is no action taken on it, most probably it isn’t something illegal and you can continue using the fonts without any issues. But, if there is an official workaround by Google, we will surely work on that too. 
Regarding the support, you need not purchase support for it. If need be, we’ll surely work on this and it will be made available through an update.

my client’s lawyer and privacy advisor believe that the use of Google web fonts currently violates the DSGVO/GDPR by contacting Google’s servers and transmitting the IP address.
I agree and have to find a solution for my client.
The web fonts should be integrated from the client’s web server. I can’t wait for Google to change or improve something. I must act now. It would be very annoying if I had to deactivate “Ultimate AddOns” and the customer’s website would be “shot up”.

Ultimate Addons does not load Google Fonts by default; and inherits the font that your theme loads. Of course, we do offer Google Fonts functionality as well and regretfully, we do not have option to remove it right now.
Nonetheless, I would encourage you to go through the threads below that discuss if Google Fonts are “Non Compliant” with GDPR:
Google Fonts is actually not a problem from a GDPR perspective as long as the EU-US ‘Privacy Shield’ is in force. All in all, Google’s data privacy compliance is considered to be outstanding. But if you still need our plugin to stop loading Google Fonts on your website, you will just need to select the “default” option from the dropdown, which inherits the font from your theme and does not send any request to Google.
