Usually theme authors alter plugins a little before bundling them with the theme. Therefore, for accurate answers it is best to get in touch with them.

As of now we are working on fixing and providing a more stable version of our plugin. Moreover we would be adding few new feature in our future updates. But at the moment I can’t provide any ETA or any specification about the new features. If you have purchased our plugin then you would be intimated once we release the update.
Also related to you second question you can simply take expandable section element and add google map element within it, but it won’t be having a transparent effect as on your shared page link.
How do I deregister smile_fonts default.css that this plugin loads? I don’t need it, and it causes extra http request to slow down the site. I.e. what is the handler to be used to make deque work out in my functions.php?
You can simply delete the default icon set which in result will not load the smile_fonts default.css file. Here is the screenshot that will help you.
Thank you for the reply. However, there is no button “Delete icon set” in that page for my installation. It shows the component of default icons like in your screenshot, but the header pane does not have the Delete button , the area where the button should be is empty. Which could cause this? I have installed the latest version of your plugin (Version 3.16.22) and activated the lisence through Envato API.

Hello…. we have this plugin through 3rd party vendor/theme (Shopkit) and your plugin is constantly nagging to activate. We can’t activate there is no way to dismiss the message. When trying to activate we get “It seems you don’t have a valid purchase of Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder” — how can we stop this message?

All WordPress plugins and themes display an alert message or a notification that informs you about an update. Updates are necessary, since they may contain some important fixes, some advanced improvements or features too. WordPress itself has been updated a number of times and therefore, we make it a point to test our plugins and release updates with necessary stuff time and again. These update notifications or alerts are just a way to warn you that you are missing on an important update. Moreover, an outdated plugin might not work as expected or you might come across some conflicts too. It is always better to have updated plugins on your website.
This notification goes to all the users who are using the Ultimate Addons. We do not differentiate among our direct users and those who’ve got the plugin bundled with a theme when it comes to notifying about an update. The only difference here is that our direct customers can take advantage of one click updates, whereas the others can request the theme author to release the latest version for them.
In your case, you simply need to contact your theme author who has bundled these plugins with the theme. It is their responsibility to share an update of the plugin and also provide support when required. Once you get the updated versions on your website, the notifications will be gone.

I think misunderstanding on the original message. We are currently on Version 3.16.22 (from the latest Shopkit). The issue is that your plugin, and only your plugin (that I’ve ever seen out of dozens) has a persistent, non-dismissable nag notice throughout our wp-admin sessions.
The notice is as follows:
“Please activate your copy of the Ultimate Addons for WPBakery Page Builder to get update notifications, access to support features & other resources!”
Unfortunately, there is no (x) to close or dismiss it. When we try to ACTIVATE, of course doesn’t work. Perhaps since it is a valid/3rd party licensed plugin (via Shopkit), you can just “activate” it for me – or tag within your system to approve activation request when it comes around next?

I am sorry! But, you mentioned about an update notification and therefore I focused on that. However, regarding the activation message that you are getting, that too is a part of the plugin and we do not differentiate among our direct customers and ones who get it bundled with a theme.
Theme authors usually purchase an extended license to be able to alter the plugin a little and bundle it with their theme. We share the same plugin copy (with an extended license key) that allows them to use it this way. In case you have an issue or need help with the plugin, the theme author is the right one to help. He can make such changes if need be.

Hi, I have bought the Ultimate Add-ons as a part of The7 theme. I am using to upload webfonts upon my needs, but the last time Itried to upload one, everything stacked… I couldnt see the fonts but only one list with font names. I supposed that if I could erase them i could import at least the basics. After deletion, the Import button is not working at all…. HELP! I lost all my icons now and I have to put them back the soonest. I tried to deactivate/delete the plugin and install a fresh copy, but nothing again. Probably something is written in the database, but I dont know the way to find it… PLEASE…
and also WP Bakery Visual Composer is unstable and not working… I am trying to open and edit a row and nothing huppens… PLEASE HELP Tell me what I have to supress from the database!

We have set a default minimum height for the dual button. About the line-height, if the line height is less than the font-size of text, then it will get applied but you won’t see the difference in the frontend. The line-height should be set more than the font-size value.
However, you can apply custom CSS to manage the height of the dual button.

As i understand there is no option to disable google fonts. If there is an option it would be great to offer the possibilities public. I think i am not the only one who will host fonts on a local server – according to the GDPR.
I hope you understand, that i will not pay for extra support now. I use your plugin bundled on around 40 websites.

Well, I haven’t heard of Google fonts affecting GDPR. However, I am sure Google will handle this well at their end, since they too are working towards it.
We’ll keep an eye regarding this and if there is no action taken on it, most probably it isn’t something illegal and you can continue using the fonts without any issues. But, if there is an official workaround by Google, we will surely work on that too.
Regarding the support, you need not purchase support for it. If need be, we’ll surely work on this and it will be made available through an update.

I have created a row that has a Parallax effect and an embedded Youtube video. It works great on Laptop / Desktops but when viewed on a mobile device the Parllax stops working and the video is not shown only the thumbnail, . Why is this happening and what can I do to fix this?

Some mobile devices (particularly running on iOS by Apple) do not allow video backgrounds to run. You can read a thread on stackoverflow.com regarding this if you would like here.
So, we have used some advanced optimization methods and have provided a provision for users to input a placeholder image which is displayed if background video is not able to play. Screenshot here.
Please make sure you add a placeholder image to your video.

It isn’t possible to add a border radius to a button that triggers a modal box. You can do that using custom code.
However, in case you want to do that easily, you can select the “Selector” option under “Display Modal on”. This will let you trigger a modal box on the click of another element. You can then use an Advanced button to do so.

2. Currently we give you options to manage the button alignments like left, center or right. Moving it to the bottom right might need a little custom code.
