Issue in Balancesheet Shows full amount of student is we given the discount at time of payment(ie. Student fees 100Rs, discount amount is 50rs shows paid amount is again 100rs in balance sheet it must be shown 50rs for collected amount in balance.)
Discount and fine will be calculated for the installment only it will not effect in total fees amount for due fees calculation. It will be fix when we will create a system for applying discount and fine rule suppose staff child discount, late fees fine etc..
Hi, I need to do Auto SMS Enable/Disable Settings for Daily Attendance / (Bulk Date wise means If we select from & to date with select particular student / All Students), Exam Notifications of SMS, Exam Marks Notification of SMS . it means give one check box for Enable and Disable for Auto sms.

1. Yes this script has php 7 support and we have tested it on php 7 also. But we will recommend php 5.5 or 5.6
2. Students records are manege by academic session wise. If student will move from another their records still can be check for previous session.
3. Smart School is a high performance application and can handle upto 50000 students in shared hosting smoothly. But if you want to run it in long term then we will recommended go for scalable cloud hosting such as Amazon AWS, Digital ocean, Google Cloud Platform etc, we use Google Cloud Platform for our demo hosting. You can use their entry level instance which cost you around $10 per month, later when you feel records are increasing you can switch to higher level of instance. You can still start with your shared hosting and switch to cloud whenever you want. As you have mentioned you shared server has php 7 its never be an issue because if you will get any problem in installation we will install on your server under our support.

In Add Fees page when you collect fees there is three options to select payment mode – Cash , Cheque or DD(Demand Draft).

In SMS setting there is Custom SMS gateways option through this you can add any http based sms api or MSG91 but for this you need to adjust parameters in Customsms library which require php and curl skills.

Guardian / parent or student login created automatically when their child get admission. You can check guardian / parent or student login details at student profile page. It does make no sense to create separate guardian / parent account every time for every student as many other school management system do.
I’ve seen them under the Admin Panel. But how do the logins get to the student and guardian?
You will give student and parent login details to them manually at time of admission. Its not automated to send their login credentials through email or sms because many schools take control over it.

Yes we will do small customization work for our clients. To make application easy currently user roles and rights are not added in system you will get 6 predefined user panels.

How about Email notification as well, to parents especially, for all activities on students account. This can be a setting that parents can control themselves. Also is there a log file for all logins and log outs and all activities on the system, and a report for auditing purposes??
Also, we need an account for data entry person, and is it possible to implement user account and access feature so that admin can create custom accounts please. Thanks.
Email notifications will be added soon. Parents can check their multiple children activities directly in their single parent panel like student profile, exam marks, attendance fees records even can pay fees through PayPal, etc.. Users login / logout details report will be added soon it’s already in our required feature list.
There are currently 6 user panels Admin, Teacher, Accountant Librarian, students and Parents. To make it easy we didn’t add users RBAC.

So how do we then create access to only a data entry staff, or data entry role. Because in our school, we have people who populate student data, and we can’t give them admin access, so in this case, what do you suggest?????

Can we collect monthly recurring payments/fees via something like Paypal or Stripe? We’re looking for a system that makes it as automated as possible without having to click buttons and wait for someone to make manual payment.
Recurring payment is not supported now, I think you need to customize application because its not a general feature that school required to use it.

Please I observed a serious error. Admin does not have a report card of students on his own dashboard like in students dashboard. This is very important for proper record, admin is have students report card according to their classes and able to search them
Please what you can do. It is urgent
Student Panel > Examinations > Report Card has exactly same data as in Admin Panel > Student Information > Student Details > Search > Show > Exam . In Admin Panel you can check student report card in Exam tab from student profile. In coming few months we are going to update Examination module then you can print real life report card or performance report.

No you can install it as many time as want in any machine there is no code restriction to prevent you to install Smart School in any machine. However since you have purchased it under Regular license that means you can use Smart School for only one School or institution in single end. For another School or institution in single end you have to purchase another copy of Smart School.

I just installed this in a local machine which is connected to a LAN. It’s working on the installed machine. But not working in another machine, seems not loading the .JS & CSS files in another machine. I noticed using FireBug the JS files has not been used relative path (used localhost). Is there any settings to be done? Please help me.

It’s your networking issue host machine server name is not valid to access through out to network. Localhost can not be used as server name for other network machines in LAN although it can also be fixed through our code. Open file /application/config/config.php for edit in any editor. Find the line ” base_url ” change its value to localhost to your valid server name for whole network or your server IP address.
