This software is not working with mysql 5.7.x, there is some query problem and it shows blank page. Otherwise this is the besssssssst software.

It working with MySQL 5.7.x also but Mysql comes with different configuration with WAMP/XAMPP for appropriate solution we have send you two SQL commands on your support ticket that will fix this issue. Please wait for our coming version update in this we make major changes in fees collection module so features including partial fees collection, fees groups, due date, fees discount like sibling fees discount, staff fees discount etc. Since student and parent login username and password are auto generated so it makes no sense to admin can change it, although student and parent can change their username and password from their panel. About creating custom fields yes it is in our required features list but before it we want to deliver high priority features so application become more productive.

I am at a loss for purchasing this software, I asked that you create a data entry account, and your charging such a fee, so if that’s what your charging then how much will the mobile app cost. It’s a feature I requested, you also don’t even share what you are going to update or do next so.

Please don’t compare our cost for customization to $43 product cost, product cost is only for single regular license where in customization we have to do exclusive work as per your required features. We provide complete source code so if you want you can customize through your local developer may be they will cost less then our cost. But you our costing is also very reasonable. In your task we have to create a separate user panel with work in almost every file used in Admin Panel. I have a couple of pre-sales questions:
1. How long does the data/student records remain on there for? Our school is from nursery (age 2) to sixth form (age 17). Will a student’s information and data remain on the system (unless deleted) for the duration of this time?
2. Offline back-up, recovery and sync Is there an offline feature available? For example, can I access the management system offline, add information, then have the information sync when I’m online again? Also, how is the information backed-up and how can it be restored, if needed?
3. When a parent makes a payment, will the amount automatically be reflected on the Admin/Accountant end? So, if as I parent, I owe $500 and pay $100 towards my child’s tuition online, will the amount paid ($100) be reflected automatically on my records and on the Admin/Account end to show that I now owe $400?
4. Bulk invoicing Is it possible to create a bulk invoice for each student? For example, all the kids in 5th grade pay the same tuition fee, lunch fee and transport fee, so would I have to create the same invoice and add it to each 5th grade student’s account, or is there a way to bill them all for the same amount at once?
5. General accounting Is it possible to have general accounting features for the Admin/Accountant? For example, financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements), payroll management, fixed assets (for example, we pay for internet access at the school, which costs $500 per year, but we pay a monthly subscription of the total cost and will need financial statements to reflect this monthly payment and amount paid at the end of the year); revenues for school fees and other services (for example, after school care, sale of school books), and expenses.
6. Number of login and students: How many profiles can be created for students (for example, we have over 1,000 students; 300 staff and teachers and many parents), will they all be able to have individual login accounts?
7. Upload files Would be possible to upload files and documents for print and download such as letters, homework, exam questions, invoices, payslips for teachers and staff, receipts (can the system generate a receipt for a payment for parents etc?)

Thanks for your interest in Smart School. Following are the answers of your pre-sales questions -
1. Data/Students record will be maintain for life time and it is manage by academic session wise. Suppose student A is currently studying in class/grade 6 and current running academic session is 2017-18 then its whole record of class/grade 6 will be manage under session 2017-18. When student A will pass class/grade 6 then he will be promoted in class/grade 7 and academic session 2018-19 then student’s class/grade 7 whole record will be manage in 2018-19 session. If you want to check any student previous year records then you can change academic session for previous years and check records. That means student’s information and data remain on the system (unless deleted) for the life long.
2. No there is no sync option now so application will not sync data from offline mode to online mode. Although you can run application in online servers as online or in local system as offline. You can take database backup from Backup/Restore in Admin Panel and restore previously taken backups. You can also download taken backup in your local machine and restore this downloaded backup from local machine.
3. Yes Fees Collection module works centrally for all the users. So if parent makes payment amount will be reflected immediately to other users like Admin/Accountant/Students automatically.
4. Yes its possible in current version Smart School to create different fees type under different categories and allot them at once in whole 5th class/grade for the same amount. Although we are going to make major changes on existing fees collection module to introduce fees groups which is more enhanced than previous fees module.
5. General accounting features will be added in future updates. We will also add a separate HR module for staff and payroll. Currently you can collect fees, add expenses, search due fees, track transactions and many others financial things.
6. Smart School is a high performance application. You can manage more than 1000000 students and their related data. But for big schools we like to recommend use scalable cloud hosting of Amazon AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Digital Ocean etc.
7. There is a Download Center feature where teachers/admin can post downloadable files for students like syllabus, assignments homework etc. since its student-teacher collaboration feature so you can’t upload invoices, payslips here. Parent can check their children all payment details in parent panel.

Paypal is already integrated which supports Master Card payments since its standard payment service to widely accept in major countries so mobile money will not support under standard Paypal payments. For mobile money we think you have to integrate local payment gateways which supports in your country and provides mobile payments also.
After purchase your will get complete source code so you can hire any local developer for customization. We can also do customization for you but customization project can be start after Smart School purchase then we will discuss on customization work in details then we will give you cost and time then we can start. We generally prefer small customization work and for big customization we recommend to hire local developer.
For Teacher Section it can be possible through small customization.

Issue in Balancesheet Shows full amount of student is we given the discount at time of payment(ie. Student fees 100Rs, discount amount is 50rs shows paid amount is again 100rs in balance sheet it must be shown 50rs for collected amount in balance.)
Discount and fine will be calculated for the installment only it will not effect in total fees amount for due fees calculation. It will be fix when we will create a system for applying discount and fine rule suppose staff child discount, late fees fine etc..

1. Yes this script has php 7 support and we have tested it on php 7 also. But we will recommend php 5.5 or 5.6
2. Students records are manege by academic session wise. If student will move from another their records still can be check for previous session.
3. Smart School is a high performance application and can handle upto 50000 students in shared hosting smoothly. But if you want to run it in long term then we will recommended go for scalable cloud hosting such as Amazon AWS, Digital ocean, Google Cloud Platform etc, we use Google Cloud Platform for our demo hosting. You can use their entry level instance which cost you around $10 per month, later when you feel records are increasing you can switch to higher level of instance. You can still start with your shared hosting and switch to cloud whenever you want. As you have mentioned you shared server has php 7 its never be an issue because if you will get any problem in installation we will install on your server under our support.

In SMS setting there is Custom SMS gateways option through this you can add any http based sms api or MSG91 but for this you need to adjust parameters in Customsms library which require php and curl skills.
Hello, I’ve through the demo and I have a few questions: 1) Where does one create the guardian/parent logins? 2) where do you link a parent account to a student account?
Guardian / parent or student login created automatically when their child get admission. You can check guardian / parent or student login details at student profile page. It does make no sense to create separate guardian / parent account every time for every student as many other school management system do.
I’ve seen them under the Admin Panel. But how do the logins get to the student and guardian?
You will give student and parent login details to them manually at time of admission. Its not automated to send their login credentials through email or sms because many schools take control over it.
