In SMS setting there is Custom SMS gateways option through this you can add any http based sms api or MSG91 but for this you need to adjust parameters in Customsms library which require php and curl skills.
Hello, I’ve through the demo and I have a few questions: 1) Where does one create the guardian/parent logins? 2) where do you link a parent account to a student account?
Guardian / parent or student login created automatically when their child get admission. You can check guardian / parent or student login details at student profile page. It does make no sense to create separate guardian / parent account every time for every student as many other school management system do.
I’ve seen them under the Admin Panel. But how do the logins get to the student and guardian?
You will give student and parent login details to them manually at time of admission. Its not automated to send their login credentials through email or sms because many schools take control over it.
also need subject-wise attendance
Currently you can add section wise atendence, Subject wise attendance will be added soon in coming updates.

Currently sms reporting only for admission and fees collection soon we will add sms reporting for attendance present absent. Yes you can integrate msg91 sms gateway or any http api based sms gateway.

Yes we will do small customization work for our clients. To make application easy currently user roles and rights are not added in system you will get 6 predefined user panels.
When you give the User role Permissions
How about Email notification as well, to parents especially, for all activities on students account. This can be a setting that parents can control themselves. Also is there a log file for all logins and log outs and all activities on the system, and a report for auditing purposes??
Also, we need an account for data entry person, and is it possible to implement user account and access feature so that admin can create custom accounts please. Thanks.
Email notifications will be added soon. Parents can check their multiple children activities directly in their single parent panel like student profile, exam marks, attendance fees records even can pay fees through PayPal, etc.. Users login / logout details report will be added soon it’s already in our required feature list.

So how do we then create access to only a data entry staff, or data entry role. Because in our school, we have people who populate student data, and we can’t give them admin access, so in this case, what do you suggest?????

Yes sure we will launch its Android and iOS app but it will take some time as you can see we are regularly updating with new features and modules. And in mobile apps you will get complete source code so if you want you can add your logo to use it as white labeled. You can suggest us for your new required features sure we will add them in system if it will fruitful to every customer. Can we collect monthly recurring payments/fees via something like Paypal or Stripe? We’re looking for a system that makes it as automated as possible without having to click buttons and wait for someone to make manual payment.
Recurring payment is not supported now, I think you need to customize application because its not a general feature that school required to use it.

Please I observed a serious error. Admin does not have a report card of students on his own dashboard like in students dashboard. This is very important for proper record, admin is have students report card according to their classes and able to search them
Please what you can do. It is urgent
Student Panel > Examinations > Report Card has exactly same data as in Admin Panel > Student Information > Student Details > Search > Show > Exam . In Admin Panel you can check student report card in Exam tab from student profile. In coming few months we are going to update Examination module then you can print real life report card or performance report.

No you can install it as many time as want in any machine there is no code restriction to prevent you to install Smart School in any machine. However since you have purchased it under Regular license that means you can use Smart School for only one School or institution in single end. For another School or institution in single end you have to purchase another copy of Smart School.

I just installed this in a local machine which is connected to a LAN. It’s working on the installed machine. But not working in another machine, seems not loading the .JS & CSS files in another machine. I noticed using FireBug the JS files has not been used relative path (used localhost). Is there any settings to be done? Please help me.

It’s your networking issue host machine server name is not valid to access through out to network. Localhost can not be used as server name for other network machines in LAN although it can also be fixed through our code. Open file /application/config/config.php for edit in any editor. Find the line ” base_url ” change its value to localhost to your valid server name for whole network or your server IP address.

It is one of the good script I have come across in code canyon. I bought this script. For me the only thing that is stopping for us to use is the partial payment. Without this we are unable to go live. I read from the comments the in June we will have the partial payment feature. Any idea when in June you will have it ?

Hi Nice Work and i interested to purchase this system.i like the detailed report system and the admission details,before that i have some more doubts. 1.User Permission option is available or not. 2.In teacher account why the fee collected report are displayed there is no difference between admin and teacher. 3.Internal messaging system is available for all account ? 4.certificate options like Bonafide,Transfer certificate,etc are generated and downloaded from the student account is better one. 5.theme color of the dashboard panel is changeable r not. 6.is there is a report for income and expense is good. 7.in the admin fees collection menu and in the Report Menu fees collection menu is same try to change it as day wise report on any one. 8.is it possible to integrate some other payment gateway apart from paypal. 9.sms intergration for sending notifications,progress report,circular,and student present and absent activies for parents ?
Following are the answers or your queries -
1. There is different 6 roles (ver. 2.0) Admin, Teacher, Accountant, Librarian, Student and Parent to make it simple we didn’t integrated RBAC for users permission.
2. Since Ver. 2.0 we have separated fees related features from teacher panel to accountant panel.
3. You can use Notice Board feature to send notices. But 2-way messaging will be add in coming updates.
4. Generating Bonafide,Transfer certificate,etc features will be add in coming updates.
5. No currently theme color of dashboard can nt be change from admin panel to change it you have to edit css files.
6. Yes there is transaction report which shows your Income and Expenses.
7. Soon we will work on whole report module then you will get more business intelligence reports.
8. Yes you can integrate any payment gateway easily, we have used omnipay to integrate paypal which also supports many other payment gateways. Even we will add some Indian payment gateways like CCAvenue, PayU etc. too in coming updates.
9. Currently SMS notification send to parents on two events Student admission and Fees payment.

Sir there is a error encountered in the expenses search
We have checked in demo everything is working fine. If you still getting error please email us at support@qdocs.in with screenshot so we can check it. Please note that demo environment is just for testing purpose to demonstrate features of application in demo there is lot of persons logged in around the world with same username/password and they can do whatever they want to test but sometimes it makes conflict and become reason for errors/issue. Don’t worry for application we are regular updating it and fix if there is any issue or bug noticed. With purchase your will get free lifetime update too.Thanks.
Can I set different user levels?
Thanks for purchasing Smart School. For simplicity we didn’t added RBAC in Smart School so you can’t set different user levels, We have provided 4 users role/panel Admin, Teacher, Student and Parent. Two more user role/panel Accountant and Librarian will be added in coming update.

I think you are asking for partial payment. Currently partial fees payment is not supported in Smart School. In June update there is major change in Fees module in this you will get partial fees payment and more features added in Fees module.

How can we add a UHF RFID Reader for Automatic Attendant system.

For adding UHF RFID Reader you have integrate it separately as per device documentations. In coming version update we will add facility to add attendance through csv import then you can add attendance by importing csv file comes from RFID Reader.
In Regular License Smart School can be use by only one customer for one institution but you can customize it as per your need since you get complete source code. If you want to sell it another another multiple persons or want to use multiple copies then you have to purchase Extended License. Please check the license details.
