Hi, Looking at your demo, can you please assist with the below questions:
1. When adding a purchase from a VAT (TAX) Vendor and from a NON TAX (VAT) Vendor, how do we do this? Can some suppliers be VAT vendors and others non VAT vendors? 2. I usually add a selling price on the system for staff and customers so it is easy. Usually on the invoice, it keeps selling price the same and shows from selling price how much VAT (Tax) I am charging customer, but when i add the tax rates, it does increases or decreases price? The only fix we see is to keep selling price before tax and add tax. But this will not work well as we have to show the actual selling price. How do we do this so it does not add or subtract, but assume OUR BUSINESS is VAT registered so shows the customer just amount of VAT he is paying on invioce, but normal amount?
Also, can you also tell me where the stock count or stock take functionality is?

Please find the response to your comment below.
1. What you have to do is, while adding the purchase from the supplier, if it’s a VAT-related supplier you can select the VAT tax amount over there. If it’s not a VAT-related supplier then keep the VAT as zero over there so that way it will be managed
2. Our system works this way only. You can select the tax inline for each of the products. If you select it inline then the final price of the product is always fixed, but the tax can keep on changing based on whatever you have selected.
3. Check the reports inside that there is ‘stock reports’. You will find all the stock-related inside the report.

But i selected option to show tax and.still doesn’t show on the invoice?
Also, I checked stock report. Is there anyway to only get stock with quantities and not all other information?
If i add products as purchases will they automatically show the tax in the accounting as well?
Where did you enable the option to show tax? Be assured that if you have enabled it correctly, it will show in the invoice.
Stock report already shows all the stocks along with the quantities. There is an option in the top where you can enable what all fields to show. You can hide all other fields. You can just keep the product name and the stock there.

Please be assured that no hosting provider should charge you extra for using PHP version 8. If any provider is charging extra for PHP version 8, please don’t use that hosting provider. Switch to a different hosting and now it should work. To inform you PHP 8 is one of the most popular PHP versions and no one can charge extra to use that version

Earlier, we were working through a third-party developer. Recently, we purchased the system directly and started coordinating with your team for support. We truly appreciate your support your team has been very helpful and supportive whenever assistance was required. The recent custom services provided are also working fine, and overall, we are very satisfied with the product.
We would now like to request one additional enhancement.
Currently, payment reminders can be sent only manually. We would like the system to automatically send daily scheduled payment reminder emails to customers when invoices become overdue, using the existing cron job setup.
In addition, we would like to know if it is possible to integrate WhatsApp API support for automated payment reminders and notifications (similar to email), either now or as a future enhancement.
Kindly let us know: • Whether automatic scheduled payment reminder emails can be enabled in the current POS version, or • If any update, configuration, or development is required from your side • Whether WhatsApp API integration is supported or can be implemented

It’s a rule by Zatca where the name cannot exceed 127 characters so because of that it’s showing this error message. Just reduce the name to fit inside 127 characters, and it should work.

2: for product serial number we highly recommend that you use the lot number feature. The lot number feature provides exactly the same thing. The boundary difference is that it’s called ‘lot number’ and here it is called’serial number’. Please use lot number

Yes, you can set item-wise discount from the discount tab present in the left-hand side.
For each item you can set different discount percentages. Also, you can set MRP in the product. When adding the product you can select the purchase price and sales price. For the sales price you can set it as MRP. Whatever discounts you will be adding in the discount tab can be used as a discount

customer is buying food. they will get a free drink either coke OR fanta. we need to deduct the free drink, how do i achieve this? i see from your docs that food recipe can be achieve in manufacturing module, which is not suitable for fast serving restaurant. example, double beef cheese burger wont be available for order until it’s manufactured in the kitchen. kitchen wont produce it until there’s an order. CMIIW. btw, we need to modify the display in kitchen module which only shows products and quantity only, no need for details. how much would it cost?
Hello Jamal! As of now there is no option for free. We have two different ways in which you can do it: 1. You can make the price of the free product as 0 2. Else you can create combo product so that when the combo product is added, both of the products quantity is reduced.

Does UltimatePOS support multiple barcodes for the same product? For example, one barcode for a single unit and another barcode for a box of the same product.

As of now, for one product, there can be only one barcode. But if the product is variable (like if the color is variable or if the product has different sizes), then for each of the different sizes, we can have different barcodes.
