It’s a rule by Zatca where the name cannot exceed 127 characters so because of that it’s showing this error message. Just reduce the name to fit inside 127 characters, and it should work.

1: Yes we do have a plan to add SSLCommerz payment gateway and it will be released soon but if you need it urgently, we request that you get a customization service done by contacting our support
2: for product serial number we highly recommend that you use the lot number feature. The lot number feature provides exactly the same thing. The boundary difference is that it’s called ‘lot number’ and here it is called’serial number’. Please use lot number

Yes, you can set item-wise discount from the discount tab present in the left-hand side.
For each item you can set different discount percentages. Also, you can set MRP in the product. When adding the product you can select the purchase price and sales price. For the sales price you can set it as MRP. Whatever discounts you will be adding in the discount tab can be used as a discount

customer is buying food. they will get a free drink either coke OR fanta. we need to deduct the free drink, how do i achieve this? i see from your docs that food recipe can be achieve in manufacturing module, which is not suitable for fast serving restaurant. example, double beef cheese burger wont be available for order until it’s manufactured in the kitchen. kitchen wont produce it until there’s an order. CMIIW. btw, we need to modify the display in kitchen module which only shows products and quantity only, no need for details. how much would it cost?
Hello Jamal! As of now there is no option for free. We have two different ways in which you can do it: 1. You can make the price of the free product as 0 2. Else you can create combo product so that when the combo product is added, both of the products quantity is reduced.

Does UltimatePOS support multiple barcodes for the same product? For example, one barcode for a single unit and another barcode for a box of the same product.

As of now, for one product, there can be only one barcode. But if the product is variable (like if the color is variable or if the product has different sizes), then for each of the different sizes, we can have different barcodes.

tested demo and found that when using discount, tax calculation is wrong, i have checked these comments and others also have raised same issue and TWF is not responding to those. system is missing very critical calculation to handle tax when there is discount, it should be able to deduct discount from qty * price and calculate tax after discount only ((qty*price)-discount) * tax%) now the tax amount is not considering if there is discount or not, in this method its recommended to not to give discount, its calculating high tax amount than the real tax amount.

Hi I just got the time to test this after buying last month. I made a POS sales but after clicking cash it directly go to print invoice. Why it doesnt ask for the monetary value and shows change before completing the transaction?
I saw this on the documentation Tender Change or Change Return, but on a busy grocery you cant always fillup all denominations everytime yo ring a sale. Is there a way this will be done the same as normal POS, Total Payable will show, Cashier enters the amount given by client then change will show and finalize transaction?

it is actually quite simple. You have to just click on the “Multiple Pay” button in the POS screen. When you click on the “Multiple Pay” button, it will open a pop-up.
In the pop-up, it will have the details to fill out the payment given by the customer, and based on that, it will show you the change that you have to give to the customer.

That is the problem, why will you click multiple pay when you don’t need to? I have deployed numerous POS systems already, and yours has one of the good features, but this should be simplified, especially with groceries, which usually has long line of customers. Can this be customized?
Or, on Cash paymen,t can you add it to the final pay same as other POS system?

Hello there, yes an active product will still show in the stock value because the stock of them already exists. So it will not be removed from the stock report but it will not be available for sales in this POS or the sales screen

Multi-Currency feature is really in need. Usually we purchase from China, India, and invoice in USD and sell items in local currency.
