In the POS screen, a popup to change the product price appears every time a product is selected. It seems that this setting was enabled previously, but I’m not sure where to turn it off. Could you please let me know how to disable this feature?

this setting appears if the IMEI serial number is enabled while adding the product.
You can go to edit that product, and you can disable that checkbox of IMEI serial number and this pop-up will not appear while selecting the product in POS screen.

I will be using your script in my phone repair shop but I have some questions:
1 – is it possible to have a second display (a tablet) for the client side where the client can enter his details (name, phone,adresse…) and option to choose contact preference (email or phone or whatsapp) ?
2 – On the same client screen, we should be able to display the repair quote for the client and he should be able to sign it on the tablet using a pen.

for 1- I think you can easily implement it using the same logic as the existing feature “customer display screen” and put a form for the customer to enter their contact information after that I can just search for the client when creating the repair ticket.
for 2- signing with a pen is probably more complicated so its fair not to implement right away
Hello, what is your license code for using ultimatePOS?
I didn’t purchase a license yet because this feature is very important to me, I have to give a pen and paper to a new customer to write their contact details every time. I saw the feature in the demo although it’s disabled and cannot test it.
I can understand. You don’t have to give a pen and paper. You can simply ask them, and the sales representative can type it while creating a new sale.
But if the customer is already existing inside the POS, then simply typing their mobile number will show the customer’s details, so they don’t have to write it once again. I hope this helps.

Great job on this POS! I highly suggest adding a Loans Module. Many businesses need to manage:
(1) Customer Loans: Cash/credit loans outside standard invoices.
(2) Employee Advances: Integrated with Payroll for automatic deductions.
(3) Installments: Tracking repayment schedules and overdue alerts.
This feature is crucial for many markets and would make Ultimate POS the most complete system on the platform. Looking forward to seeing this as a new add-on!

From Version 6 up to now, their issue of stock is not shown correctly until you refresh. For example, in the list of products, you can show 20 pcs, but when you go to stock history, it shows maybe 18 pcs, and when you go back to the list of products, it shows 18 pcs. The same POS shows 20 pcs and allows sales, but when you go to the list of products, it shows -2 pcs (negative), which means the system allows the sale of an untrue quantity.

We know for other type of businesses, to add a product we can easily add both product purchase and sell prices, but how we do for adding restaurant food menu such as a plate of rice, grilled fish/salad, etc… Do you think we need to add purchase price to that as well? I don’t think so because it’ll be hard to get purchase price of each meal. Your thoughts please.

To do these kinds of things, you have to make use of the manufacturing module.
So inside the manufacturing module, you have to create different recipes.
For example, you can create a recipe for one plate of rice, grilled fish, or salads and inside that, you can give all the ingredients that will be needed for that particular quantity. And when you will do the production of that one, then the quantity of the ingredients will reduce and the quantity of these items will increase.

thanks for your response but I didn’t make myself clear. I’m talking about selling products. On add new product page, I don’t think we should have product buying price section for restaurant foods. Because I don’t know how once can get the buying price of a plate of food. We know the selling price but not the buying price. What you think?
You can enter the buying price in add product screen as 1 or some other number as it’s not of much use if product is not purchased.

I’m considering buying Ultimate POS. On the product page it says “Will it work offline? Yes, it works offline.”
However, when I test the demo and disconnect my internet connection, the system stops working.
Can you please clarify exactly how “offline mode” works?
Does “offline” mean the system works only if it is installed on localhost (XAMPP/WAMP) or on a local LAN server?
If my internet is down , will the POS (sales, inventory, invoices, printing) continue to work normally?
Which features do NOT work without internet (example: card payments, SMS/email, updates?
If I have multiple cashier computers, can they all keep working without internet, as long as they can access the local server?
Is any extra module required for offline use / offline sync, or is it included in the main package?
This is very important for me because I need the POS to work during internet outages.

Yes the system works when installed in localhost without internet connection.
Using a local server we can use almost all of the features but any feature that needs an internet connection (for example sending emails, SMS, payments) will not work when installed locally
For offline use you have to simply use it in the localhost using LAN connection. There is no sync option as of now.
