Hello again. I have a page called Directory which is in my main navigation. I have an SEO rule created with an SEO Title (that’s supposed to go between the title tags in the source code) but when I am on the SEO Rule’s url page, it replaces my “Directory” navigation link with the full SEO Title, which is very long and not what I want. Is this by design, or is it something I did not configure correctly? Thank you again for your time.

Hi bravewhale

Can you please send the link to the page with the instructions on how it can be recreated?

Hey Team, what are the correct HTML ID or class for filtering? I use the XStore Theme with Elementor. The Product arcive is built with Elementor Template. If you need i can share credentials for the staging website.

Here’s an example with the shop page:

1) Elementor applies a class on the products container – https://prnt.sc/27dCyZc57VeI

2) Use this class in the FIlters Set applied to the SHOP page – https://prnt.sc/AnIomMro5eTN

3) Now you can test it with the range slider by price, as the categories are simply all empty since you displaying one category on that page.

You can do the same for the other pages and filter set.

Best Regards,
Victor

Hey, thanks. But the thing is, I don’t have a single shop page. I don’t use the WooCommerce shop page. I work with shop pages that always lead to a product category. I also use Elementor archive templates. So the Elementor Shop Arichive Template only works for the Product categorie “Überdachung”

So when i go to my filter sets -> Überdachung, this is configured https://i.imgur.com/gtmmJuE.png.

Also i named the Elementor class as it is configured in the filter set. https://i.imgur.com/WDTh57Z.png

But the filtering doesnt work.

That’s the issue with the chosen query: https://prnt.sc/gnVqxfFiMycV We have set the correct one and it is filtering.

Hi Victor

I just purchased the pro version, but need help with startup.

At https://educentrum.be/test-filter I want to be able to filter out our Woocommerce products. I am using a theme that does not allow widgets in Elementor. From there I do via shortcode. I want to filter on the product attributes. But on the page I see the error code that no filter terms are available.

Via PM I have sent our login details. Thanks in advance Mario

Please check if everything is filtering now on this page – https://educentrum.be/workshop/

You rock, Victor! Thanks! How did you fix it? So I can learn it myself.

We simply went to the filter set, cleared the Divi cache, and clicked the update button. Make sure to wait until the page fully refreshes for the changes to take effect. Then, go to the page with the filters, reset it, and everything was displayed correctly.

Добрый день!

Hi, I wanted to know if the plugin is compatible with the Themefusion Avada theme. I know that there is no integrated element in this builder but I wanted to know if using the shortcodes it is possible to call the custom post types created with ACF and customized with Avada. Thanks Corrado

Hi lift-crea

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Yes, it’s absolutely compatible. You can create your own shortcode to display your CPT posts via WP_Query in order to filter them. Also, you can use either widgets or shortcodes to display the filters.

Victor

Thanks

Hi, wpc-filters-range-inputs doesn’t work anymore. What’s wrong with it? Instead of nice range element showing 2 number inputs

Hi officerbcode

The issue could be due to one of the following reasons:

1) The option might have been disabled in the filter set settings under “More Options”

2) There could be a conflict with a third-party plugin on the site or a custom code.

3) Custom code or caching issues might be interfering with the filter functionality.

We recommend deactivating your plugins one by one to identify if any of them are causing the conflict, turning off all of the caching for testing, and disabling custom codes. This can help isolate the issue and find the root cause.

I have the “Code Snippets,” “ACF,” and “Filter Everything Pro” plugins. There is a taxonomy with five attributes. Each of these five attributes has different variables (all ACF fields). Each product is assigned values in all five taxonomies.

Is there a way to build a filter that allows the customers to first select the taxonomy and then display and select only the values associated with that taxonomy?

You can hide empty terms from the filter, there is an option available for that under the “And what to filter” in a filter set. However, keep in mind that if the selected taxonomy has posts associated with it that contain other custom fields, those terms may still appear in the filter results.

Best Regards,
Victor

Hi Victor,

I know and use this option. The displayed filters are all non-empty. That’s why they are displayed.

To explain again: I select a value from my taxonomy. Based on this, only one of the five dependent filters should be displayed. Currently, however, all five dependent filters are displayed as soon as a value is selected in the taxonomy (this happens because they are set as dependent filters of the taxonomy filter, which only appear when a selection is made in the taxonomy filter). So what I want to achieve is that only one of the dependent filters is displayed, namely the one that displays the values belonging to the selected taxonomy, not all five.

Should I add another example?

Best Regards Mandy

Ah, so basically, what you are looking for is the conditions to display an exact child filter after you select an exact parent filter term. Unfortunately, this is not possible yet. Currently, it is only working in general; when you select any filter term, it will display all of the child filters attached to it.

Victor

Hi I purchased the product on May 17. I cannot seem to get filters to work. I set up a filter set for price, categories and brands and want the same set to display on all pages, archives as well as my New Arrivals and Coming Soon pages(I bring info in with CSV and tags weekly). Site is built with Elementor Pro & Hello theme, so employ a Filter Everything – Filter widget under the Wordpress section.

I tried various different settings, following the Filter Everything site tutorial, youtube, ai, etc. Please assist. Thank you

Hi wgeldenhuys

Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

Unfortunately, you cannot use a single filter set across all pages. Each page, especially singular ones, can have a unique query, and the filter set is designed to work with only one query at a time. In order to make sure the correct filtering, you need to create separate filter sets for each page that uses a different query.

If you cannot make the filter work on a certain page, please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it.

Also, please send the exact link to this page, so we can set you a filter set example on how to display it there.

Hi, I was using the Filter Everything PRO plugin and suddenly it tells me that it is blocked for not having a license, I have put the license back and it tells me that it has been used for two sites, when in fact it has only been used on my site (www.rolser.com), what can I do? The proof of purchase is 113e02f4-cb0b-47e1-b2fb-f74ed77ef3a7

Hi asignes

Please send your license key via PM – https://codecanyon.net/user/fe_support

So we can deactivate it across all sites.

Hi There, I have implemented the filter and everything works well. Just a question I have regarding the language variation:

- What short code do I use on the lang page - When I switch on the translate on WPML it goes blank

Do you have some steps I can put it place to accomodate and implement the lang option

Hi ClintHendricks

Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

When translating the filter set, please navigate to the filter set in the required language and create all the necessary filters. The translation will not duplicate the filters; you simply need to create the filters for the target language.

Also, please check this page – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/with-wpml-polylang/

Hi guys!

I have the problem. My website is built with Flatsome theme. So I added filter through shortcode.

Below filter, also through shortcode, I added PHP file, where is located WP_Query and PHP/HTML logic to output products. In filter plugin settings, I chose that WP_Query as “What to filter?”. Also, I added 3 filters to that filter: one by category, two by product attributes. Now, I saved the filter. On the page, when I open dropdown of filter by category, for example, or filter by attribute, it shows all options in filters as grey (meaning there are no products available for this option), but when I choose option, product with that category/attribute appears (I also use AJAX).

Can you help with that?

Guys, it seems that it works for now as expected, thanks

Hi luchykkolya

We are glad to hear that the issue was resolved.

Hi,

Is it possible to show in dropdown 1: only the parent items of a taxonomy. And then in dropdown 2: Only the children of the selected parent taxonomy in dropdown 1?

Hi boswolf

Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

At the moment, there is no such functionality. However, the development team is aware of it, and there is a possibility that this functionality may be added to the plugin in future updates.

Best Regards,
Victor

The filter broke with my website and won’t show any options for products using Elementor on my shop page. I’d like to get assistance with geting that resolved.

Hi nathan651

Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

Can you please send the credentials to the wp-admin dashboard following this document so we can check it? Also, please send link to the exact page which is broken when the plugin is activated.

Best Regards,
Victor

I sent the credentials and the exact page would be sinzshemp.com/shop where the filter doesn’t load any details. When it did, the filters didn’t actually filter the products on the page.

Hi nathan651

Everything is working and displayed on the page – https://prnt.sc/-h1hStKXNAJI However, please note that you have a caching plugin enabled, which can cache pages and provide outdated or incorrect results.

Hi!

I want to add a filter on a custom product page. This page is a combination of woo product bundle plugin and woo composite product plugin, so as to have a mix and match result. So actually it is a product page which consists of products.

I am adding [fe_widget horizontal=”yes” columns=”5”] to this product page and applying the filter on this page via Where to filter? settings. I am testing all the available product quarries, i have also added widgets etc, but nothing appears on the product page.

I am using flatsome and the Intended use is on page: https://itsababybox.gr/product/design-your-gift/

Hi anrinejewels

The plugin uses the default WordPress WP_Query to filter any CPT (posts/products/events…) on the site. By default, WooCommerce also uses WP_Query for shop, archive, and other product pages, specifically for compatibility with WordPress themes and plugins. It is not using the WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT on those pages.

Using WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT instead of WP_Query can lead to compatibility issues. The WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT is a WooCommerce-specific class optimized for product data retrieval, it does not fully support the query customizations required for workability. The WP_Query provides extensive options and hooks that are essential for dynamic filtering.

We can only recommend adding an option in the page builder/theme to choose whether products are displayed using WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT or WP_Query on the page. This will provide compatibility with other plugins that rely on the default WP_Query behavior, rather than being forced into a single, potentially incompatible approach.

While this can be added in future updates, in order to work with the WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT, this will require changing the core of the filtering and how the filters are working in general. It is not just using a hook and this will make it 100% compatible with the filtering features. There should be a new mechanism to detect if the pages use the WP_Query or the WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT and how many of them on the page are used and work with the exact one and make sure it is all saved as well, not just a hard-coded solution.

Best Regards,
Victor

Hi I don’t seem to be able to get this work. How can I request a refund please?

Hi anrinejewels

We’re sorry to hear that. We’ve provided a working example with the WP_Query on the test page.

The third-party theme/page builder should provide a WP_Query solution to display products in the same way WooCommerce does by default for its archive pages. It works well with the default WP themes and other premium themes and page builders, as they all provide a WP_Query solution for displaying the products/posts. If the theme is limited to only one solution and does not provide any default WP_Query to display products, it can lead to incompatibility with many features and plugins.

In general, a refund is possible by submitting a form through the account where the plugin was purchased and waiting for a response. Please note that the support team does not handle refunds. Furthermore, we have no control over the refund team and cannot speed up the process or influence it in any way.

I’m trying to find a plugin to enhance my site search capabilities, are there any plugins that integrate with Filter Everything or are there any you can recommend?

Hi adama212

There are currently no recommendations, however, you can use the default WP search widget, with a slight extension. This will work 100% if everything is implemented correctly. Or you can write what plugin you are looking for, so we can test it together with our plugin.

Hello,

I am using Filter Everything with the Bricks builder theme.

Could you please advise me how to solve my issue. My problem is that when I filter products using filter everything pro, the images do not appear on my grid ( They only appear on the initial load of the page ). ( AJAX is enabled)

The Bricks Builder team advised to use this bricksLazyLoad(); function with a JS Event from your plugin, but I am not sure what exactly I have to use.

Please advise, thank you in advance.

You can test the problem here, by filtering: https://stagingas.layers.lt/parduotuve/

It looks like the issue is with how the images are being applied using JavaScript, as they are simply set as background images through inline CSS.

The problem seems to lie in how the current code is functioning, you may need to make some additional changes for it to work properly. When the page loads, there are preloaded styles responsible for displaying each product image:

 <style id='bricks-dynamic-data-inline-css'>
            .brxe-ifpmfv .brxe-ellvjx.brxe-div[data-query-loop-index="0"] {
                background-image: url(https://stagingas.layers.lt/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/61cdabdf7b5477630d25c021_dalton-hyaluronic-urea-hydro-boots-cream-50ml_800.webp)
            }

            .brxe-ifpmfv .brxe-ellvjx.brxe-div[data-query-loop-index="0"] {
                background-color: var(--bricks-color-tybvrs)
            }

            .brxe-ifpmfv .brxe-ellvjx.brxe-div[data-query-loop-index="1"] {
                background-image: url(https://stagingas.layers.lt/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Inspiration-1.png)
            }

            .brxe-ifpmfv .brxe-ellvjx.brxe-div[data-query-loop-index="1"] {
                background-color: var(--bricks-color-tybvrs)
            }
...
        </style>

When you choose the filter term and it is loading new products, those styles are still there – https://prnt.sc/s3A_lleFhQbD basically pulling this data to add the image on your products. When we refresh the page, those styles are changing – https://prnt.sc/KFfFYRrw9Nju with the correct URL to the image, so you might want to check that aspect and how it can be altered after the AJAX is finished, as it’s likely that the lazy loading function do not update that data. It should be some other function.

Best Regards,
Victor

Thank you Victor!

Indeed the final puzzle piece was the image being rendered as a background with css.

As soon as I changed the element to be a standard image element the filtering started working like a charm.

Thank you for the support and have a nice day!

Thank you!
We’re glad to hear the issue has been resolved.
Have an amazing day!

Victor

How can the product count be updated on filtering instead of just on page refresh?

Please check this: https://app.screencast.com/89hG04JlXauvY

There is some JS code that opens the sidebar with a filter on the click of that button. After AJAX returns updated elements, the JS code simply does not apply all of the required events to this button (it only applies them during DOM load). What you can do is find this code and use this wrapper:

jQuery(document).on('ready', function(e){
    /* Plugin function to re-init, e.g. jQuery("[data-fancybox]").fancybox(); */
});

After the AJAX is finished on the page, it will fire the code in that “wrapper” to renetiate this button JS code in order to make it work normally.

As to the desktop button, yes, it does, you can check it on this page – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/mobile-devices-new-approach/

There is a code that allows you to modify the breakpoint for the mobile button, making the mobile widget appear on the desktop.

Best Regards,
Victor

Thanks, I have created this snippet that: 1. Re-initiate the functionality of the filter button from Flatsome 2. Update my custom result count in the sticky header (copying the text from the default lcoation to the custom location).

jQuery(document).on('ready', function(e){ const resultCountEl = document.querySelector('.category-page-title .woocommerce-result-count'); const replaceTarget = document.querySelector('.header-nav-main.nav-left .woocommerce-result-count'); if (replaceTarget.innerHTML != resultCountEl.innerHTML){ replaceTarget.innerHTML = resultCountEl.innerHTML; } //Re-initiate "Filtrér"-button functionality Flatsome.attach(document); });

Nicely done. Great job!

Victor

Hi Filter Everything team,

We are trying to set up Filter Everything PRO and translate it into Serbian language, but the translated strings from the .po file are not reflected on the page, all of them are still displayed in English. We are using LocoTranslate plugin for translations and we are wondering if you could help us resolve the issue since the majority of our customers are in the local market (Serbia).

Please let us know what information you need from our end in order for you to take a look at the translation issue.

Hi dalux23

Thank you for choosing Filter Everything PRO.

Could you please provide specific information about what you’re trying to translate? If possible, share a link to the image showing what you are trying to translate. So we can quickly identify and provide you with the required information.

Best Regards,
Victor

Sure thing, here are links to the images showing untranslated content https://ibb.co/zVpCpbJk https://ibb.co/hJ2d2w41

It’s mostly strings “Reset All”, “Filters”, “Show”, “Cancel”

Here is the setup that we have for those strings in LocoTranslate https://ibb.co/gbRN0jDm

Hmm, that’s weird. Perhaps you should check the site language configured in Settings > General > Site Language in your WordPress admin panel. If it’s currently set to English, you’ll need to switch to Serbian for it to work correctly.

Best Regards,
Victor

Hi there, I want to show products from multiple categories in the same URL, and I guess I could use your plugin for that using the filter URL’s. However, I do not want a general category filter in the sidebar. Is that possible?

Hmm, perhaps you should use the default Woo Product Category widget for this case. It allows you to navigate to your category pages.

You can also create a single Shop page that displays all your products. This allows users to filter and browse everything in one place, rather than navigating through multiple pages limited to specific categories, making it much easier for them to find what they’re looking for.

Best Regards,
Victor

Ah, yes, I will create a page with all products and a category filter for that particular page. I guess that will give me the URL to products in multiple categories.

Yes, this way you can choose multiple categories in the filter and use that URL to direct users on the page with already chosen filters. Or just live filter everything on that page, which will be more efficient.

Best Regards,
Victor
