I got a Wordfence alert “The Plugin “Calendarize it! for WordPress” appears to be abandoned (updated January 9, 2024, tested to WP 6.4.2).”

This is a serious problem, please reply! Thanks.

This is a false positive. Nothing has been abandoned. If you have any conflicts or bugs, send us a message, and we will review.

I have recently paid for support as my site breaks with PHP 8.x but I’m not able to contact anyone. There are comments 7 months ago which said RightHere were testing and would release an update, but I don’t see one. No reply to my emails. I really want to keep using this plugin but looks like no longer supported?

I’m sorry but refunds must be requested through Envato.

Ok thanks, I have requested via Envato

Thank you.

Bonjour,

My name is Kym. I am wanting to purchase a number of plugins and scripts for my marketing agency and I would like to know if I am able install it via the WP Snippets AI plugin: https://wpsnippets.ai

If not, will it work with the Code Snippets plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/code-snippets

Merci, Kym

Hello Kym, I’m not sure what compatibility you are looking for. We do not have any specific integration with Code Snippets.

I love the diverse functionality of this plugin but am unable to figure out how to get the sidebar event to look like your demo version. I’ve emailed your support email address but am dropping in here as well for backup. :)

(I had emailed in April asking how to gain access to the support page of your site and never heard back, but I believe that was at a time when you were having website issues.)

We are currently undergoing significant changes with our developer team. I apologize for the inconvenience. I know this is not satisfying.

Given the uncertainty of this plugin’s longevity, is there an export function that would facilitate a shift to another plugin? (I have a couple of dozen events already added through your paid plugin that I’d prefer not to have to fully redo if I don’t have to.)

We still maintain and update the plugin. Events are “custom post type” so you can use the built-in WordPress exporter.

Great work!

Thank you let us know if you have any questions.

I emailed support a week ago, but I haven’t heard back. Are you still operating?

Yes, we are indeed. You you resend so that we can see your email. support@righthere.com.

Are you still alive??? Your server is giving me error…... Service not available. What is going wrong????

Sorry for the inconvenience. Our hosting provider updated our server and we are in the process of moving some stuff. I hope this will be resolved today.

The license key and download (add-ons) database should work again.

Pre-Sales Questions

Can we mass-invite people to an event? For example, if I create an event on 28th March, can I efficiently invite 40 people at once rather than sending individual invitations one by one?

If I invite 40 people, can I set it so that each attendee cannot see the other participants and can only view their own attendance?

Can the invite message be further customised to include dynamic data such as first name, last name, or other personalised fields so that each recipient sees unique information?

If the above features are supported, will all the details sync with my Outlook calendar? I understand you support Outlook API sync, but will all this information also be synchronised?

If I need to schedule these 40 people in bulk for different times and dates, would I be able to import a list of calendar events from a CSV file or another method?

Is it possible to automatically generate a Microsoft Teams or Zoom link for each event when creating online meetings?

Could I set event reminders to sync with outlook?

Thank you for looking at Calendarize it! There is no invitation feature in Calendarize it! It looks like you need a email campaign system. Take a look at https://funnelkit.com/ – we use this ourselves for many clients.

Calendarize it! supports ical feed (JSON feed) which you can add to any Calendar and then you can set the notifications or reminders.

We do not have any special integration with Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Version 4.9.998.101115 is listed on the author’s site as an update. It is not available on Code Canyon, or through plugin updates. It is supposed to resolve PHP 8.2+ compatibility. How can this update be obtained by those who purchased this plugin?

Calendarize it! is compatible with PHP 8.2, but we are testing on PHP 8.4 now and will release an update.

FYI – PHP 8.x (I’ve tried .3 and .4) doesn’t support curly braces on lines 566 and 569 of /wp-content/plugins/calendarize-it/includes/class.rhc_post_info_shortcode.php (and possibly others). It breaks wordpress frontend. Replacing the curly braces with square brackets gets the site at least somewhat working again. I’ve not fully tested it yet, but these two locations were site-breaking out of the box.

We are in the process of testing using PHP 8.4. We will release an update.

created a fatal error on nginx/recent wp + php8.4

Can you please send your login credentials and preferably PHP error log to support@righthere.com. Or contact us via https://righthere.com/support/

I see that PHP 8.4 was just released in November 2024. We have not yet tested with PHP 8.4 (which reaches end of life in December 2028).

I will pass this on to our developers and see if we can test on PHP 8.4.

Impossible to register to support, impossible to have answer with chat… no more support here ?

Yes thanks. I was a little bit nervous because i was not able to register my licence in my WP admin, sorry for that. The team replied and helped me so i have to write here : thanks a lot for your help ^^ Regards

Hi there, I sent 3 questions to the support email – putting some here just in case the email may not make it.

1) Is there a way to change the URL the plugin is directed to? Right now I think it is attached to /events (which is already used by another plug-in). Both /calendar and /events are taken on my site so it’ll have to be something else. (More specific details sent in email)

2) Can you please show me how to set up the mobile view? Right now when set to mobile size, the whole calendar disappears, only the buttons remain.

3) Could you please show me how to work with the CSS editor? The documentation shows that there should be an editor that I can use, but all I see is a bunch of fields for URL. I used to code so I can try to find my way around, but it’d be really helpful to have some examples to understand it better. I want to change the colors for the buttons, header, fonts, etc. I did find the button that says CSS Editor when editing specific calendar pages but nothing happens when I click anything on the menu.

(Screenshots attached to email)

Thank you!

HELLO?

I haven’t heard anything at all either here or via the support chat.

1) by default clicking on an event in the calendar will take you to the Event Details Page. You can choose to show the popup first and then clicking on the title takes you to the Event Details Page. Or you can disable the link. If you want to link to a different URL download the free add-on Events Link to and then you can enter an alternate URL.

2) In the Options > General you can set the break point for mobile. E.g. if you choose 600 px then all screens smaller than 600 px will get the mobile layout. There is no easy way to customize the mobile layout.

3) Download the CSS Editor and then access it from the TOP TOOLBAR in WordPress. You will have multiple areas of the calendar that you can easily customize with this visual CSS Editor. If you can’t access an area you need to manually add the URL inside wp-admin so that the CSS Editor can find this area.

I hope this helps.

Issue Updating Event Organizers or Venues – Changes Not Saved

Hi, I have sent a message to support@righthere.com on 19/01/2025. Have you received it? Can you help me please?

Please go to https://righthere.com/support/ and submit your question and do leave your email otherwise we can’t reply.

Hi I have already written on your support website too. Can you help me please or just tell us that you are stopping your plugin?

Did you get help?

hello, please nedd help after update on https://www.escal.asso.fr

I’m sorry if we dropped the ball here. Did you contact us through support@righthere.com or at https://righthere.com?

Please go to https://righthere.com/support/ and submit your information and please do leave your email otherwise we can’t get back to you.

Could you please confirm, that the plugin is fully compatible with the latest WP (6.7.1). Thanks, Bernhard

I’m sorry for the late reply. Yes, Calendarize it! is fully compatible with WP 6.7.1.

Thanks a lot! :-)

If you experience any challenges please reach out to us through https;//righthere.com/support/ or send an email to info@righthere.com.

1) Does your plugin allow each registered user to post their own events (from their own account)? 2) Can I create different calendars for my website, for example, cultural events calendar, sports calendar, social events calendar, etc.?

You can have as many calendars as you want. Calendarize it! uses WordPress Taxonomies: Calendar, Venue and Organizer. You can create as many terms as you want in the Calendar Taxonomy.

Check out this https://calendarize.it/add-ons/taxonomy-filter/

You can see all the different calendars created in the “Calendar” drop down”. Look in the VIEW EXAMPLES menu on the demo site you can pre-filter by adding attributes to the shortcode or use the Gutenberg block and easily configure what you want to show.

You can create events only visible to specific user roles: https://calendarize.it/wordpress-calendar-plugin/event-only-visible-to-specific-user-roles/ And you can create personal calendars for users: https://calendarize.it/wordpress-calendar-plugin/calendar-for-current-logged-in-user/ And you can allow e.g. an Administrator to filter based on users: https://calendarize.it/add-ons/author-filtering/

I hope this helps.

Hi, it seems that the links to the Help Center included into the plugin are deadlinks. Why?

I’m sorry if you have found some old links to our Zendesk account. Years ago we switched away from using Zendesk. You csn get support on https://righthere.com/support or go to the demo site https://calendarize.it and find information on all shortcodes+attributes and other relevant information about the plugin.

If you run into a challenge with the plugin we will be happy to assist you.

You can post your question here or directly via our chat on https://righthere.com/support

Please notice that we are not online 24/7/365. If you write us while we are not online – leave your email and we will get back to you via email.

Hello! On your demo, I noticed these warnings in console:

[Deprecation] Listener added for a ‘DOMNodeInserted’ mutation event. This event type is deprecated, and will be removed from this browser very soon. Usage of this event listener will cause performance issues today, and represents a large risk of future site breakage. Consider using MutationObserver instead.

Will this be an issue? Chrome will apparently disable this next month: https://developer.chrome.com/blog/mutation-events-deprecation

Thank you!

I will pass this on to our lead developer.

Thanks for the quick response! Looks like it’s caused by these two DomNodeInserted events in bootstrap-select.js:

Line 90: this.$element.bind(‘DOMNodeInserted’, getSize);

Line 100: this.$element.bind(‘DOMNodeInserted’, $.proxy(this.reloadLi, this));

Is it okay to remove these lines? I commented them out and it seems fine.

I’ve passed this on to the dev team and they will review. If the calendar still works I’m sure its ok. I will also pass on this latest information.

Hello, I am interested in buying the plugin. Could you please inform me about the web accessibility level of this plugin, such as WCAG Level AA? Thank you.

I’m sorry but we are not fully compliant.
