Hello, we just found another problem, this time with the [rem_search_property] shortcode. With the parameter “fixed_fields” we can determine in which subset of all existing objects the search shall happen. That works very well. If we enter something and click on “Search”, only objects of the selected subset are presented.

But: If we enter something in a “fields_to_show” field, an Ajax / dropdown search is triggered that searches in all of the existing objects, not only in the ones that are specified for this search form with the “fixed_fields” parameter.

You should limit Ajax searches only to objects of the subset determined in the “fixed_fields” parameter. Will that be possible with the next update, too?

And allow us a last question, regarding the other issues we reported some days ago that you wanted to fix in the next update, too: When do you intend to release the next update (no pressure, we just want to know what to tell our customer).

We just noticed four more issues:

1.) A bug in sorting of custom fields. We see this bug, when we add a custom number field and sort it according to your page https://wp-rem.com/online-documentation/filter-hooks/rem_lists_sorting_options/ If we sort it ascending or descending the result is sorted as string, not numeric. So the values “1500”, “350” and “40000” are sorted ascending as “1500, 350, 40000”, not as “350, 1500, 40000”. We suppose the reason will be that you use standard SQL ASC/DESC sorting and the database field just is not numeric. Then sorting will be as strings. If you offer adding custom number fields, then you also should take care that sorting of number fields is numerical. If you have a non-numeric database field you should make sure that data is explicitly converted to numeric data prior to sorting.

2.) If we modify the list sorting options with the filter hook rem_lists_sorting_options this doesn’t work for the filter dropdown menu that appears above the results of a search. There a filter drop down menu with unmodified options is displayed, not our modified one. This happens although we set new options via the filter hook and a little bit down the same site the modified filter drop down menu with the correct options is shown, too.

3.) Everything translates perfectly, except for the confirmation text that appears after a bulk request is made with the wishlist-addon. It would be great if this text could also be made translatable in the future like the other messages.

4. ) When clicking “Check for Updates” in the plugins (WordPress Backend, Plugins), the error message appears: “Could not determine if updates are available for REM – Wishlist.” We would appreciate a fix for this issue.

Hi, the Divi Modules are at the moment not supportet with the new Version. In the frondend edit, you see always grey modules, but it works if you configure the modules.

Hi, since the last update of the Wishlist addon, it’s great that we can now customize the email header and content. However, we noticed that when users request multiple properties at once, only the first property_title is being displayed in the email.

This doesn’t reflect the expected functionality, as we would assume that all requested property titles would be included in the email content.

Could you please look into this issue or let us know if there’s a workaround?

1. GDPR-compliant Google Maps integration: Is it possible to display a placeholder (e.g. image or overlay) instead of the map by default and only load Google Maps after the user gives explicit consent? Similar to how themes like Avada implement this feature.

2. Elementor Theme Builder support: Can I fully customize all listing-related templates (Archive Page, Archive Item, Single Listing) using Elementor’s Theme Builder?

3. Custom fields and layout control: Can I create custom fields and freely arrange them on the Single Listing pages, without being restricted to predefined layouts?

4. Contact form within Single Listings: How is the contact form for individual listings handled? Is it possible to include two consent checkboxes – one for GDPR/privacy and another for legal notices (e.g. confirmation that the user has read details about commission, additional costs, etc.)? This is very important due to strict legal requirements in my region.

5. Dual energy efficiency display: In my country, we must display two separate energy values (e.g. heating demand and overall efficiency). Can the energy efficiency graphic be displayed twice on a listing – each time with a different value and label?

Hello after updating to version 12.7 I have 2 issues. First of all in the my properties page when the logged in agent hits the Edit button it does nothing, no Edit page is opening. Second in the add new property page on the frontend you have added a Property Category dropdown, which is great, but the dropdown opens behind the map which is above it and it is not possible to view and select the available categories. Can you please help me on this. Thanks!

Hello. I have a pre-sales question. I wish to build a new site for my business, which is a “live bands for hire” business, and it sounds like your template is exactly the same functionality that I would need, but for live bands instead of real estate. Can you confirm this for me?

Basically, customers search on our site to find and book the perfect cover band for their wedding or company event in their area. So, the Customer signs up for an account, then after listening to bands in their area, they ‘favorite’ the bands they like best, then log their wedding event details, then message their ‘favorited’ bands with their event details, asking for them to reply with a quote to play for their event. After messaging back and forth and deciding which band they like best, they need to pay a deposit to lock the band in. This deposit confirms the band booking for both parties, and the system then sends out the appropriate deposit booking fee to the band’s bank account.

So, my question is: will your template suit this, and if so is it easy to transform to a band site, remembering it will need a ‘My Favorites List’, which the Customer can then use to contact those list members with their event details, also it needs a messaging system, also a membership sign-up requirement for bands AND customers, and finally, it needs a front end, where “new bands” can sign up with us by auto-generating a band page with their sign-up details – band location, video files, audio files, images etc.

Good Morning, I am unable to upload Photos when I create a new listing or edit new listing which is a Basic function that should work after buying the code. . Please see why the photos are not getting uploaded when I click the button “Click here to upload images”. Earlier it used to nicely upload and show in the gallery. But its gone now after updating.

Also please remove the button “Add Media” which appears below Basic Information as this only inserts the pictures in description.
