Hi, I purchased Filter Everything Pro and set it up on my computer desktop. It’s working well there. However, when I try to use it on my mobile device and select an item, the screen becomes transparent, displaying the product catalogue and the filter on top, which mixes them together.
In the settings, I chose “Special Pop-up Filters Widget for Mobile” and enabled the “Pop-up Filters” widget.

We have checked the site and something weird is going on there. Why there is a filter set at the bottom of the site with a loading icon – https://prnt.sc/191OWiDKbcSk After choosing any filter the mobile button is appearing, but everything is working well then suddenly after changing the product view (small icons) it becomes transparent… There are a lot of errors in the console. And for example, everything is working well – https://prnt.sc/yqe9zV0sEbeD most likely there are some CSS styling issues, a lot of issues because it is working differently depending on what you click on the site.

Try to go to Filters -> Settings and turn on compatibility mode and test if it will work. The weird behavior happens when we scroll the page. If we do not scroll it everything is good, if we scroll it everything goes in the background and all your products go in the first place. Which is very weird.

Please explain, why is the shop page which is “inventory” redirected to the /all-matches/ category. This category is the same as your cities categories. It just removes proper functionality because this /all-matches/ should be added when you choose any City and it should display for example /London/ or any other city without /all-matches/ in the url, it should be like that to make everything work properly.

The only think what i know is, when i set the link to /inventory and visit this page, the (chips) reset button doesn’t work.

All the issues are because of this redirection. Maybe you made it in a .htaccess file or by some plugin. If someone was working on your site and setting everything up for you, just ask that person why it is redirecting to that category by default. This is out of the scope of support as it is not related to the plugin at all. So we cannot help here. You can only use custom fields for countries instead of using categories then it will work as it should at least.

First of all, you choose “AND” logic which we changed to “OR” because – «AND» means, that posts should belong to all selected terms at the same time. That’s why you get 404 as there is no such posts.
Second of all we added the SEO rule to work with countries as well, check the page – https://accessiblevisit.com/inventory/needs-wheelchair-accessible/city-antwerp/country-belgium/ now based on those two SEO rules you can create any other that you need.

When i click on multiple needs, for example Belgium + Wheelchair accessible—> this works Belgium + Wheelchair accessible + antwerp—> this works Belgium + Wheelchair accessible + shower chair—> this works not (yet)

Multiple filter terms from the same filter are not allowed for the SEO rules. While it might seem like a helpful feature, it could inadvertently lead to negative consequences for your website’s SEO performance. When search engines crawl and index your website, they aim to deliver the most relevant and unique content to users. By using multiple filter terms, similar content variations may appear, resulting in reduced visibility and rankings for your individual pages. That’s why it is best to use just one term from a filter for SEO purposes. Maybe in future updates, we will add the ability to choose as many terms as you need, for your own risk, but at the time it is working like that.

When i am in my inventory and select my needs, it shows all hotels (for example 5 hotels)
But when i add another need, for example shower chair (which are 3) i still have als results 5 hotels. This should be 3 in the listing.

Here what was the issue, in your multiple filter sets there were different logic for needs filter, some had OR some had AND for the same page and it was causing the issue. We changed them all to the AND logic for the needs and it is working, at first, we thought that there are no items with both needs attributes.

please try a search for “testimonials” (0/6) or “news” (1/3) – it seems like it’s only counting posts, not pages, although there are pages in the search results. how can we make it count correctly? in the filter settings, you can only select posts or pages, not both, which would be necessary here.

well, we’re talking about a standard wordpress page here, which you offer to select in your “common pages” selection – why do you offer it in the first place when it’s not working at all? and what do you suggest as a solution for a working search results filter?

Your search bar can show results for absolutely all of those post types and show them (it has nothing to do with our plugin and its functionality). The Filter Set will work only with the Post Type that was specified in the Filter Set.

well, if the filter can’t filter the standard wordpress search results page, I would very much say it has something to do with your plugins functionality… but whatever… if I switch it to “pages”, the query selection says “No WP Queries matched to the post type “Page” found on the page” – it does work in frontend anyway, but only when it’s the only filter set. If I activate both, to have filters for posts AND pages – the second one doesn’t work.

I have an issue related to a filter that I can’t resolve.
I created a filter in this page: https://polydentia.sviluppo.host/download-center/pubblico/
The filter type is based on the plugin: Download Manager Pro.
The filter used three subfilter: one based on download category, the second based on download tag and the third one based on a custom filed.
Everything work great and in the final page I can see everything correctly. The problem is related to the filter “Lingua del documento” that is a custom field; if you try to select a language (Ex. Spagnolo) the download on the right disappear completly.
The download are load with a shortcode of the download’s plugin.
What generate the problem? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks Mattia

Hard to say what exactly is happening, it can be some user role restrictions, but for admin? You need to check that “download plugin” user roles or maybe there are some security plugins and etc that give such an effect, perhaps custom code? Our plugin doesn’t hide or show anything, it simply doesn’t have such functionality, all it can do is just filter. So try to turn off 50% of the plugins and test the workability. Or if you have the ability try it locally with clean WP and add only the needed plugin to check if everything is working together, so you can move back to the site and fix the issue.

We can do it in the same way as it was the last time. It can’t be done just by any instructions as we are adding info in our DB manually, then generating the data manually that should be generated on the server, then placing it in your site DB. We are working to solve this problem entirely simulating such situations on our test server, to understand why some servers blocking it and what can be done with it.

Hi! First of all I’m impressed on what this plugin can do, it’s awesome and blazing fast! However I have a little problem. I’m using filter everything on latest woodmart version. Everything works fine on desktop, but the filters are not showing on mobile, even if I use shortcode. The one way it to show is removing every filter widget on elementors shop page, and then it shows the filter button. But if I do so, then they won’t be shown on desktop because it needs the widget. Is FE fully compatible with woodmart?

Hello! I am trying to activate the license on the live site because it says it is locked. However; after approving the Envato authorization, it pops up a page that says I don’t have any purchased copies of the plugin. I’m testing the plugin and can’t make it work with wpml. I create filter set turn on the translation (https://filtereverything.pro/resources/with-wpml-polylang/). I can create translation but copying filters from the original language to another does not work. An empty set of filters is copied. Another question is how to copy an already finished set of filters so as not to create it from scratch if the second one is similar to the first one?

I have another question: when I add 2 Filter Sets (using 2 widgets) on the same page for 2 different Queries, one Set is not visible anymore even if I choose 2 different priorities and is replaced with the second one.
“Entdecken & Erleben” and “Verpflegung & Übernachtung” are different queries.
How come? Example on the same page as in the previous comment.

When you are using a filter set with the same filters on one page they will work as one filter not as separate two. In order to place two filters and make them work correctly you need to create a filter set with different filters. Or create a custom taxonomy or custom field, and filter by it.

This issue is resolved. I was able to find the correct filter ID by inspecting the code and finding it in the module’s HTML. The code worked after correcting the ID.

Seems like everything is set up normally and it should work correctly. But there is some custom field issue. Try to apply that custom field to a new product if it will show it if you filter the items. If not then you have changed the name of it in ACF, but it is not changing the meta key in the database after renaming.
Unfortunately, we cannot add anything to the host file. We can only check the site by its domain name.

My server is not public and is private. The cron doesnt work. Maybe could be this the problem?
Hard to say what can be the problem, because if everything else is filtered normally then the problem is in the custom field, try to create a new one and apply it on the needed posts and try to filter it. There has to be a try (try all possibilities), update filter set, and test the workability.

Load more and other eternal paginations are not supported as most of them just create a copy of WP_Query and loading results from it. They are not working with the filtered items. so when you click load more usually you would see the same items without applying any of the filters.

There is also another possibility that would solve my problem.
Namely, I will have two Filter Sets created, for example: PL Filter Set and EN Filter Set. In the first one the Price Slider will have the “_price” Meta Key. And the other “_price_usd”.
Since your plugin is compatible with WPML, I guess there is a possibility to display PL Filter Set on the Polish version of the store’s website, and EN Filter Set on the English version of the store website.
My guess is that something is needed here that replaces the Set Filter in the store sidebar.
The logic is probably similar here:

As far as we know (we could be wrong), WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency dynamically calculates and converts prices on the front based on the selected currency and exchange rates. The actual product prices are not stored in different meta keys like “_price” for each currency.
You can contact the authors of the “WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency” and ask how to get the meta key for certain currencies for example USD or PLN, etc.
The problem is that meta key “_price_usd” is not storing values in USD, because in EN language filter by that meta key just empty.

That’s right, prices are converted based on the selected currency and exchange rate.
In all the plugins I have tested, the price sliders display the price range taken from the currency of the default language of the website regardless of the language of the website.
They do not take into account that prices in other currencies may be converted based on the exchange rate or be entered manually, as in my case.
Based on your answer from another thread, WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency developers managed to write a snippet thanks to which your price slider can correctly display prices converted based on the exchange rate.
They still can’t make it so that prices entered manually are taken into account.
So, for English, my site displays products with prices entered manually, but the price slider takes into account prices converted based on the exchange rate.
The _price_usd key (similarly: _price_esp, _price_eur, ...) stores the amount entered manually in the second currency. But unfortunately only with the default language enabled.
So, you’re right, after switching to English, the _price_usd key no longer stores anything.
My idea of a dynamic meta key substitution rather fails.
So, how do I make your price slider take into account the prices of products entered manually?
I will be very grateful for any tips!

Honestly saying, at the time we have no ideas how to make it work both together. Right now, you can either use converted values with a needed rate without manually entering prices. Or wait until we will add this plugin compatibility so we can try it all and test. But right now we are working on another functionality and it can take up to a few months before releasing a new update with compatibility.

I have been trying for weeks to make the filter working but still can’t get it write.
This is my progress thusfar:
The filters on the left identifies the post I’m trying to capture but the posts don’t sort according to the filter criteria. The list of posts don’t sort according to the filter criteria on the left immediately.
Only when I click the apply button then I get a redirect to another page. I expect filtering to happen using the ajax without redirecting. I enabled the ajax in the settings
If I uncheck the «Apply Button» mode, then the filter on the front page disappear.

Please explain how you want it to work? The redirection filter is working in the next way. You choose the needed term in the redirection filter, hit apply and it will redirect you to the needed page with the applied filters. If you need a filter widget on the redirected page, then you need to create a new filter set and place it on the redirected page.

I want it and expect it to work in the following way:
1- user select a filter from the widget 2- filtered posts appears immediately (without redirect) according to the selected filters

So in other words you want posts from let’s say products page to appear on the home page after you click apply? If yes, there is no such functionality. The Redirectin filter redirects you to another page so of course it will reload. If you want to filter products on the same page that you are using the filter widget then remove the alternative location (set it by default) and it will filter products on the current page. With AJAX and update only products on the page. But it will not bring products from another page to the current page.

No! I don’t want to use the apply button at all. And I don’t want a redirect.
This is my case:
I have custom posts (airlines) and they are listed on the front page. Those custom posts contains many custom fields (using the formidable plugin).
I don’t understand want you mean by bring products from other page!
As you mentioned I want to filter those custom posts (airlines) on the same page by using categories and different custom fields.
I expect it to work in this way: using the filter parameters should bring the airline that the user is looking for (just like with products)
This is the setting of my set of filter
Post Type to filter: Airlines (custom post)
The issue I’m facing:
1- I can only remove the alternative location by disabling the «Apply Button» mode But then my filter widget throws the following error
No one Filter Set is related to this page. You can configure it in the Filter Set -> “Where to filter?” field.
2- In the “Where to filter?” I experimented with all the settings. Only when I choose “common wordpress pages”, and then “All archive pages…” This is the only option that I get the correct WP_Query. All other option return “No WP Query found…”
But there is still “no one filter” message!
3- When I add a new filter to the filter set. I choose custom field and then I set the name of the meta key: the meta key is created using Formidable form. It is a simple text field with data. It looks like this: oewk5
I can send you admin login credentials for you to have a look at how the filter is set up
It is important we try to solve this issue. It will be useful also to so many people asking the same questions or running into the same issue.

In that case, turn off the apply button mode, and in the “Where to filter” dropdowns use “Common WordPress pages” + “Homepage” and in the “And what to filter choose the needed query that displays those posts. It should work.
If it won’t work, you can send credentials as you mentioned following this document so we can check it.

We have checked the site and there is no WP_Query on the page https://prnt.sc/PpA8OGS4tTGV And you are using shortcode [display-frm-data] to display items on the page, which is not using the WP_Query to display the data. The posts should be displayed with the WP_Query in order to filter them.
