Hi, I have a search form at my homepage that is sending the results to a “results” page I created. At the “results” page I have another search form, that the only difference from the search form at the homepage is that the results are loading in the same page.
When I choose in the home page search form, a parent category and hit the search button, it shows the result page with the correct listings. After that, at the results page when I choose a location, it filters the current listings and shows the correct results for the specific location and for the specific subcategory. Until now, all are ok.
When I choose a subcategory from the search form at the homepage, again it shows the correct results at the result page. The problem is now, at the results page when I try to filter the already results by a location, it shows the listings from all the categories, for the chosen location instead for the already chose subcategory. It does not filter the listings for the already chosen subcategory listings.
I hope i was clear. This happens only for the first time.After that ,when I am at the results page and choose another subcategory and then filter by the location, the results are correct.

Tried to reproduce this on your site. As I see it gives correct results selecting subcategories and locations at the result page https://www.ifind.com.cy/results/?categories=61&locations=24
I didn’t say that. I said when you are at the homepage and choose a subcategory, not a parent category, it shows the correct results at the “results page”, the problem is when you choose a location after that and only the first time.
When you are at the “results” page and selecting categories or subcatories or locations the results are correct.The problem is only the first time as I mention above.
Go to homepage and select the first subcategory “Νηπιαγωγεία” and hit the search button “Αναζήτηση”. It will shows 13 results. After that, choose any location and hit the search button. Instead of filtering these 13 results for the specific location it will show all the listings from the webdirectory, for the specific location. wrong results.
Now it is clear. This fails only with subcategories.
Now lets try to test it without any customizations you have made on the site.
Sorry, I found the issue, this is not in your customizations. Will be fixed in the next update of the plugin.

I just did an update and it looks like my directory is broken.

The reason you don’t see a problem is that after 2 days of the directories being broken, I decided to roll back and restore the site from before your update was installed. It works now, but until you fix the issue, I can’t do any updates. This is an issue that I did not notice, someone contacted me and like the other user above, after updating the plugin the directory broke.

I have a problem. When i try to set the dependency on a content field in my search form, it does not getting saved. We are customizing your plugin in this website and works great but is you try to use the selectors of the serach form (any of them) the first serach the listing not show the results under the map but when you refresh the page the results apper well under the map (also in the first search the results are ok on the map and the number of it are shows well all)

Hello Shamalli, The menu is no longer compatible with WP 5.9. The “Reset” button no longer works on the location search field with the “Heirarhical dropdown” search mode. Please check.

The search menu, the “location” section, does not reset.
OK, Is it one issue in your first message? Or you’ve found some issues, “locations menu” does not work and “reset” does not work?
The “reset” button only resets the “categories” field but does not reset the “locations” field if the “Heirarhical dropdown” option is selected for the “locations” field. I can’t show you online, I came back with WP 5.8.3 so the menu can work properly again.
Just updated the plugin. v2.9.4 should fix the issue, please upgrade.
Hello Shamali, I updated to v2.9.5 and a new problem appears with WP 5.9 in the location selection menu (when using the “Heirarhical dropdown” mode). Selecting a location instead of displaying the list of the sub-locations the directory returns an error message indicating that it is impossible to connect to the database. However, the other plugins access the database correctly. The menu also accesses it since the list of locations appears but if you select a location it crashes instead of displaying the list of the next line. PS: There is no problem in the menu with the list of categories, the menu does not crash (I do not use subcategories).
I found the problem! I use icon flags for each country. The error message appeared because I did not publish the flags on the FTP server after updating the v2.9.5 plugin. (my flags disappear after each update). Once the flags are published on the server everything works correctly without error. Maybe a little bug? because I also use custom icon for categories, and there was no database error, yet I also didn’t publish this category icon after doing the update, it worked without the presence of the categories icon and without errors. And in previous updates there was no error message if I forgot to publish the localization flags.
I do not think the problem related to the plugin itself.
To save your images, place them in your child-theme folders.

There is no need to place php code.
This depends on what images you mean by “flags”. You need to upload files in child-theme folder. Not in plugin’s folder.
Locations images you should upload following rules:
w2dc-plugin/resources/images/categories_icons/, w2dc-plugin/resources/images/locations_icons/, w2dc-plugin/resources/images/map_icons/ folders for categories icons, locations icons and map markers icons accordingly.

After i have update on last version the plugin, i have problem with Search form. I have creted a search form then i have add the search form shortcode, but if i select one category, this show me all the items not only from selected category!

Yes, it works exactly in this way. Any information the plugin takes from the database.
For example you can create content field of select type, this allows to place selection list into the database, then take information about listings.HI, I’m using mapbox for US state search. When a search is done for a state, it zoom in way too close. How can I set this to zoom to the state level or something close to that? I’ve tried several Default zoom level setting and turned off auto zoom by location. I just can’t get anything but zooming in so close you can’t see anything but one street. thanks
Hello, after the search it zooms in/out to cover all found listings on a map. So it can not be too close or too far, it should show all found listings on a map with appropriate listings.
