This plugin is awesome! One question:

I have the loading icon set to display once per session, as i don’t want it displaying every time a link is clicked on the site. However, I have a member’s-only section accessed by a Login page, which takes several seconds to log in.

How can I get the loading icon to display on this page as well, but only once per session otherwise?

Thanks, Clark bucksawcreative.com

Hi Clark,

Thank you for contacting us, and we are glad to hear that you like our LoftLoader Pro plugin. :)

We have visited the login page on your website and found that it loads very quickly. Since we do not have a valid user/password for subsequent operations, we guess that it may take a while to redirect to the member only section after clicking the login button. If you want to display the loading icon after clicking the login button but before opening a new page, I am afraid that LoftLoader Pro cannot do it.

If users will be redirected to a specific page after logging in, for example, “Welcome” page, and that page is a static page that exists on your site (the page that can be found in the “All pages” list), and if you want to display the loading icon when this “Welcome” page opens and display it only once per session, then this can be done. Please refer to the documentation.

If we misunderstood your question, please feel free to let us know. We are happy to help you out.

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Thank you for the detailed reply. This answers the question.

Thank you for your reply, Clark!

I am trying to follow the instructions to disable Loftloader for a particular page.

The page is: ojaya.com/feedback

The way to get to this page is: Go to ojaya.com Try to exit page and popup comes up. Click “no thanks” This takes you to ojaya.com/feedback — but we don’t want the Loftloader to load before this page.

I tried following the instructions, but they don’t seem to work, and I don’t see clearly how to do this.

Please can you help? Thanks, Lucas

I am confused, because it seems to say in your documentation that you can disable Loftloader for specified pages, see here:

“You can exclude some internal links from Smooth Page Transition feature. This is a new featured added since v1.1.5.

When to use it:

There might be some internal links you would like to disable this feature when click on them. For example, there are some links on an online shop: “Add to Cart”, “Add to Wishlist”, etc. When clicking on these link, it will load content by using AJAX instead of taking the user to a different page. For these kind of links, you need to exclude them from triggering the Smooth Page Transition feature.”

We have read the instructions here, but we are not programmers, and your ads say that no coding is required. So we are wondering if you could please tell us how to disable the preloader when people add something to the WooCommerce cart.

Thanks Lucas

Hi Lucas,

Thank you for your reply. Please see the answers below:

1. “Disable the preloader on a page” vs “Exclude specific internal links from Smooth Page Transition feature” :

They are two different features.

To set where to display the preloader, the settings are located in the LoftLoader Pro settings panel > “Display On” section.

The options of the “Smooth Page Transition” feature are located in the LoftLoader Pro settings panel > “More” section > “Smooth Page Transition” sub section.

2. What does the “Smooth Page Transition” feature do?

By default (without the “Smooth Page Transition” feature), the preloader is only displayed when the page is opened (or refreshed). It will not be displayed when leaving the page.

When this feature is enabled, as we mentioned in the documentation: “You can choose to enable Smooth Page Transition feature, so when you click an internal link and leave the current page, the loader will appear with animation again, to fulfil the blank between pages.”

If you are still confused about this feature, you can try disabling this feature on your website to see the difference between enabling and disabling this feature.

3. Select a page to disable the preloader on it:

As we mentioned in the previous reply: “Users can use the ‘Display on – Handpick’ feature to display the preloader only on the selected pages/posts. However, there is no feature for users to select some pages so that the preloader is not displayed on these pages.”

This is a new feature and will be added in the next update. After adding this feature, if the user has only one page to hide the preloader on, he only needs to select the page and hide the preloader on it.

-

Usually, there is no need to write custom PHP/JS/CSS code when using this plugin. Users only needs to change the settings of the plugin. We have just checked all your communication records with us again, and we have not mentioned that you need to write custom code.

Therefore, could you please explain your requirements more clearly? Do you want to disable the preloader on your “Feedback” page? Or, do you want to exclude the “Smooth Page Transition” feature when clicking the link to the “Feedback” page?

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Here are some additional content to our response just now:

If you are referring to “Exclude specific internal links from Smooth Page Transition feature” (instead of disabling the preloader on some pages), in order to communicate better, please provide the following information:

1. You mentioned that you have followed the instructions but it does not work. Please take a screenshot of your settings (LoftLoader Pro Settings > “More” > “Smooth Page Transition”) and send it to us so that we can see your settings.

2. You said “The way to get to this page is: Go to ojaya.com Try to exit page and popup comes up.” However, we didn’t see the pop-up window, please record a screencast video to show us how to operate to see this pop-up window.

3. There is a lot of content on your website. Please understand that we cannot thoroughly study each user’s website structure. Please send us the URL of your shop page so that we can check the structure of the “add to cart” button (the structure of each website may be different, depending on the theme used on the website).

Please send these details to our email address: general@loftocean.com . Thank you.

Hello,

We have already the Lite version of the LoftLoader plugin installed and configured. How should we install the Pro version to not lose the parameters configuration? Should we delete the free version first? Will we lose the configuration?

Best regards.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

LoftLoader Lite and LoftLoader Pro are actually two independent plugins, so the settings cannot be inherited from each other. After you install the pro version, please deactivate the lite version and reconfigure the settings in the pro version.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Hi, I have set the plugin for the preloader only selected pages. However, when going to a nonspecified page, the preloader also loads. See our site at ojaya.com and add something to the cart. The cart goes to an entirely different wordpress, and even then the preloader is showing. Please advise. thanks

Hi Lucas,

Thank you for your reply. Please see the details below:

1. Instructions about how to exclude code:

There are many different cache plugins on the market, it is impossible for us to install or purchase all cache plugins for testing. Therefore, we referred to the common functionalities of most cache plugins and wrote the instruction.

Since WP Rocket is a popular paid cache plugin, we have just added an additional instruction for it. Please check this instruction: Exclude Code from Caching – WP Rocket. And you don’t need to disable the “Combine CSS files” feature.

Please kindly note: Because it is a paid plugin, we refer to the official document of WP Rocket when writing this instruction. Different versions of WP Rocket may have different functions and settings, and some settings may also change after WP Rocket is updated in the future. This is something we cannot predict.

Therefore, we suggest that if you still have problems after changing the settings by referring to this instruction, please provide your site login information so that we can check the plugin configuration for the actual environment of your site.

2. About providing your site login information:

Providing admin access to developers is often used for debugging. Because each user may have a different site environment (using different themes and plugins, as well as different settings for the same plugin/theme). We can’t create a site environment exactly the same as the user’s site every time, and the cause of a problem may be various. The best way to find the exact cause of the problem is to check the problem and debug it on the site where the problem occurred.

However, we understand your concerns about providing login credentials because we value security and privacy as much as you do.

Therefore, you can create a staging site. A staging site is an exact copy of your entire live website, so the problems that occur on the live site will also occur on the staging site. Then, you can create a temporary admin account for the staging site, and allow us log into the staging site and debug. So it will not affect your live site in any way. After we resolve the problems on the staging site, you can change the plugin settings on your live site by referring to the plugin settings on the staging site.

Please read our documentation to find more details about Debugging on your staging site & Creating a Temp Admin User.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Thank you again for your continuing advice.

We may perhaps be barking up the wrong tree here.

First, please note that I followed all the instructions you last gave, however if anything, the bug got worse.

I have investigated carefully the bug, please note this new info:

The only issue we seem to experience is:

1. A flash of unstyled MESSAGE content in the preloader. We see a standard Times bold font that appears briefly in place of the fonts that we have specified. It flickers from unstyled text to styled text and looks not good.

2. We tested with ONLY the following code added to Rocket (which seems to work best for us): loftloaderPro loftloaderCache

3. After clearing all caches, we went to ojaya.com home page. No issue. Then we SLOWLY went to each page in our site. No issue. The preloader works beautifully.

4. When returning to pages already visited, THAT IS WHEN we now see the flash of unstyled message content. This is very odd to us, and indicates an entirely different problem than we have been troubleshooting. Why would all pages work great, but then LATER they don’t? This is the new puzzle.

5. Also: When clearing all caches and going to our site, if we move TOO QUICKLY through the pages, then this bug will appear. Note: Our pages are large, which is why we need the preloader. Could it be that by moving too quickly through the pages, the preloader gets confused if the current page is not fully loaded?

With this new info, what do you now say. If needed we can provide you a staging site as you suggested, but hopefully this new info might give you new insights.

Thank you! Lucas

Hi Lucas,

Thank you for your reply.

As we mentioned earlier, this problem is mainly related to CSS. But, in order to find the exact cause of the problem, the best (and fastest) way is to check the problem and debug it on the site where the problem occurred.

The same solution cannot solve all problems. Some problems may look the same or similar, but there may be various reasons for the problem.

Therefore, please create a staging site, and email the information to general@loftocean.com .

Thank you very much.

Wordpress : Version 5.4.2 LoftLoader Pro : Version 2.2.1 Website URL : https://mosaisparis.com

Hi,

I just purchased Loftloader Pro plugin which is looking great but I’m encountering a problem, I didn’t succed to display it on all pages. I read all the documentation and tried to select Sitewide and Handpick with full pages selected but the loading page still doesn’t appears on some pages of the website. I also tried to use the shortcode provided by advanced option without success.

The pages concerned by the issue are : - Shop and all childs pages (which use woocommerce shortcode to display product categories) - Press - Cart - Search

The theme was created from scratch, each page is unique and displayed on wordpress with the page-name tag.

Thank you in advance for your help, Best,

David

Hi David,

Thank you for contacting us.

We checked the relevant pages of your website shop, and found that the HTML structure of these pages is missing the opening < body > tag. Please see this screenshot.

Because the preloader will be added right below the opening < body > tag in the HTML structure, when there is no the opening < body > tag on the page, the preloader cannot be added to the page.

The HTML < body > tag is used for declaring the main content section of the HTML document. The < body > tag is placed after the document’s head (i.e. between the < /head > and the < /html > tags).

Therefore, please check your theme and make sure the HTML structure is correct. :)

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Hi,

Thank you for your quick and very explicit answer, I really appreciate.

Indeed, the problem came from my HTML structure. The loader is fully fonctionnal on all pages excepted the Press one. I’m going to search into my HTML structure to see if the problem comes from there.

Thank you again! :)

Best regards, David

Hi David,

You are welcome. And thank you for your reply! :)

Hi; I just purchased Loft Loader Pro from Envato. Version 2.2.1. Purchase code 2d7d4a6f-b6eb-46cd-9a00-88c3bda7415a My website is www.escfgames.online It doesn’t work. when I enable it I can see the setting panel but I don’t see the preview panel. I do see my home page which is in my usual edit mode. I’m using Thrive theme builder and Architect page builder. I have tried publishing loader with many different options but nothing works. I’m running the latest versions of WordPress and PHP. Please help?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

Could you please provide the following information so that we can look into this problem for you?

1. Please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your site. Because every user might have a different site environment, this would be the best method to find out the exact cause of the problem.

2. Please also provide us with your FTP login credentials, so that we can check the error log of your website, and modify the plugin’s code in a safer way (if necessary).

3. Please email these details to general@loftocean.com .

If you find it inconvenient to provide us with the login information of your live site, you can create a staging site of your live site. A staging site is an exact copy of your entire live website, so the problems that occur on the live site will also occur on the staging site. Then please create a temporary admin account of this staging site and let us log into this staging site, so that we can check the problem and debug on the staging site, without affecting your live site. (You can use this free plugin to create a staging site: WP Staging – DB & File Duplicator & Migration.)

You may like to read our documentation to find more details about Debugging on your staging site & Creating a Temp Admin User.

Looking forward to your reply. Thank you very much.

Hi, Pre-sales questions. I was wondering if this plugin can play Automatic Sliders (i.e. Slider Revolution, Layer Slider, etc.) as a Preloader on a specific page?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Sorry, in order to make the preloader as lightweight as possible, LoftLoader currently does not support using the sliders as a preloader. Because it also takes time to load and initialize the sliders in the loading screen. The sliders may be heavy, which may cause the preloader to appear very late.

Hi LoftOcean Team,

trevormesnik asked 11 month ago this:

Can I use this pre-loader in the WooCommerce checkout screen after the visitor clicks “place order” and WooCommerce begins to process the order?

Is this implemented in the plugin now?

Thanks, Trong

Hi Trong,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin. :)

Sorry, currently this feature is not included in the plugin.

This feature request is already in the “Feature Request List” of LoftLoader Pro. Like all other feature requests we receive, the priority of adding a new feature will depend on the number of same or similar feature requests we receive.

So far, the priority of this feature is still very low, so we still cannot guarantee that this feature will be added in future updates.

Thank you very much.

I emailed you ^^

Thanks for letting us know. :) We have replied to your email. (If you cannot find our email in your email inbox, please don’t forget to check your spam/junk/bulk folder.)

Hi Loft Ocean Team, We wish to have animated gradient background and a static image in a preloader. I can see that your plugin can support static file and a very simple gradient background. Is it possible for us to modify the preloader background externally to add more colors and animation—perhaps by calling a css file in a header? Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Yes, you can modify the preloader background by adding custom CSS code to add more colors.

You can call a CSS file, or, you can add custom CSS code directly in the WordPress customizer (How to Easily Add Custom CSS to Your WordPress Site).

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Thank you for your quick reply. We will purchase the pro version then.

Thanks for purchasing our product. :)

Hi there, superb plugin. does the pro version have a different loading animation for the custom image loading screen? My client is looking for a top left to bottom right animation than a bottom to top one as in the default. Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Sorry for the delayed response. You can change the loading direction by adding simple custom CSS code. We have created an example, please check this page: https://www.loftocean.com/loftloader/image-loading-different-direction/ .

If you need our further help with CSS code later, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you very much.

That’s really cool, thanks for that. Can I get the exact CSS change needed for this? It’s hard to know because there’s not a long time to inspect the loading animation before it closes. Cheers.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

Sure. The result on the example page is based on the advanced features of LoftLoader Pro and some custom CSS code (so this result cannot be achieved using LoftLoader Lite).

Since the support service is only available to customers with valid support licenses, after purchasing the plugin, please provide your license in any of the following ways so that we can verify your license and provide you with further assistance:

I have a pre-purchase question. I want to use a video for the loader background. Can I set the background as a video and just use that for the preloader?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Sorry, it is currently not possible to add video files to the loading screen. Therefore, neither the background nor the preloader can be video.

Thank you for your suggestions. :) We have added them to the “Feature Request List” and will consider adding these new features to this plugin in the future (the priority of adding a feature will depend on the number of same / similar feature requests we receive).

Hello. We purchased Loftloader Pro and we are getting an issue while trying to open Pop UP from Elementor Pro. If your plugin is activated, when clicking on the button that opens the popup, it will show 404 error “page not found”. Can you help us solve this, please?

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. Sorry for the problem you encountered.

We have not received a same or similar issue report yet. In order to find the exact cause of this problem, could you provide the following information so that we can look into the problem for you, please?

1. Please provide us with the URL of the page where the problem occurred.

2. Please indicate the location of the pop-up button you mentioned (you can take a screenshot and highlight the button).

3. Please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your site to check your site environment and settings. Because every user might have a different site environment, this would be the best method to find out the exact cause of the problem. (You can use this plugin to create a Temporary Login Without Password: https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/ .)

4. Please also provide your FTP login credentials, so that we can check the error log of your website, and modify the plugin code in a safer way.

Please email these details to general@loftocean.com .

Hi, I am using elementor and everytime i click on something in elementor it causes the page to change to a new page. Then elementor gives me an error. Is there a way to disable this while editing the page? Or do I have to always disable and re-enable the plugin?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us.

We have improved LoftLoader Pro for the third-party page builders in version 2.2.0 (released on March 1, 2020), so that the preloader will not display when editing the page with a third-party page builder plugin. Therefore, please update your LoftLoader Pro to the latest version, then the problem should be resolved.

Please feel free to let us know if the problems can be resolved after updating the plugin. Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team

Thanks for a quick response, I’ll give it a try.

Hello, I just bought your plugin. I had the free version before. I don’t find the regular effect which was on the free version by default. I would like to keep it on my logo. There were a white effect which went down to top on my logo. How can I do? Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

Please refer to this screenshot: https://d.pr/free/i/YJPyZT . When customizing your loader, please find the “Loader Animation” option and then select “Custom Image Loading”. Then you can set the animation direction to “Vertical” to create the same effect included in the free version.

And there are more options for this animation effect: you can set it to loop forever or once, and you can change the vertical direction (from top to bottom, or vice versa).

You may like to check the documentation for more details about Add Custom Image.

Thank you very much.

Hello, i want to ask you before buy your plugin. I want to make a preload image like this website https://www.nikoskoulis.gr/. Is it possible to put a custom images like animation movie?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

The loader on the website you mentioned is an animation made using SVG code. Sorry, but LoftLoader Pro currently does not support adding HTML / SVG code as a preloader. We will support this feature in future updates.

LoftLoader Pro supports uploading custom image as the loader, so you can add animated images, for example, an animated .gif, or upload animated SVG as an image.

You may like to check this demo page: Test for GIF ( https://www.loftocean.com/loftloader/test-for-gif/ ). When using .gif as the loader, we recommend using an infinite loop gif. If you use a play-once gif, the cached gif does not reset and stays at the last frame when refreshing the page.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Hello,

Can you please help.

I have just purchased your plugin, everything is working perfect apart from the loader animation. when adding an animation it does not show in the of the center on the page but off screen to the right. yet the progress animation bar works in center.

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

According to your description of the problem, the style of the loader animation may be affected by the style of other plugins or the theme.

In order to find the exact cause of the problem, could you please email your website URL to general@loftocean.com so that we can take a look at the problem?
