Hello, I bought your plugin and I think it’s great.
I have a question for you: on my e-commerce I’m selling shoes, each one of them has different sizes but the various dropshippers not always have all the sizes in stock because they usually choose the shoes sizes according to their costumers.
I thought that it was sufficient to write the price in the proper field inside the item features relevant to a particular dropshipper in order to assign the sizes of the shoes bought by them.
Instead I saw that the plugin assigns all the sizes to that dropshipper, and I don’t want that. I would like to see only the sizes he actually bought.
How can I resolve that? I need also to know if there is the possibility for the main admin or the store manager to see all the product assigned to a single Dropshipper, in the Dropshipper’s list.

If you are using variable products, the dropshipper price can be set for each variation but with WooCommerce Dropshippers you can assign only one Dropshipper per product.
As for the list of products assigned to a Dropshipper, the products are visible from the specific Dropshipper’s dashboard. We are planning to make them visible for the administrators as well in a future release.

Thank you for your answer but it didn’t help me a lot, I don’t want to assign to a dropshipper the whole variations (sizes) of the shoes but only the ones he buys (not always a dropshipper buys all the sizes of the same pair of shoes).
I also tested the buying process and I received the order email even if I didn’t set any price to that variation, and this is what I don’t want to happen because that dropshipper hadn’t bought that size of that pair of shoes.
I saw that there is an AddOn to this plugin called WooCommerce Dropshippers MultiDrop AddOn https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-dropshippers-multidrop-addon/13957704
Can I solve my problem if I but it?
Because I also need to assign different dropshippers to the same product and their relative variations.

With the addon, even if dropshipper prices will be different for each dropshipper and variation, multiple dropshippers offering the same variable product can’t be assigned to a single variation.
Any dropshipper assigned will still offer the entire product.
Once an order is placed, before it goes to processing, the administrator can manually assign the dropshippers available to the eligible items in the order. In your case, the administrator must know the availability of the dropshippers before processing the order.

I need to cc an email address to a particular dropshipper as two people in that organization require that they receive the new order notification email (not needed for the packing slip.) How can I do this?

our plugin can only send emails to the Dropshipper’s email address. There is a CC field in the plugin options but it will send a copy of the email sent to any dropshipper. There is no way to send a copy of an email intended for a dropshipper to multiple destinations.

I’m experiencing cURL 28 Errors on my LIVE site, and I need to be able to diagnose what’s causing this issue, without taking my site off line for any period of time. I’m suspecting plugin compatibility issues, but disabling several or lots of them on the live site is currently not an option. As I’d developed my site using the live host servers – with a holding page, and not a local staging server, I’d like to know if it’s now possible to clone my site to a local staging server, and still have your plugin work as expected locally with my purchased license key.

Could you please add the shipping method field to the Packing slip PDF that’s attached to the email your plugin sends to dropship supplier. The shipping method is in the email itself – just not on the packing slip. And when you’re dealing with a supplier that sends out thousands of items a day for lots of different people – it would make for less human error in the shipping method – as generally the person actually doing the boxing and shipping doesn’t actually see the email, they just see the packing slip.

we use the dropshippers plugin quite a while and are very satisfied.
So far we sell only in Austria, but in the future we want to sell to other countries with different dropshippers for the same product.
For Example: Product1 is sold to Austria (mail must go to: dropshipper@austria.at) Product1 is sold to Germany (mail must go to: dropshipper@germany.de)
I think that is not a standard feature of the plugin.
Would it be possible to get a “mail to dropshipper by country” function?

For some time now, two of my dropshippers haven’t been getting the order notification emails. Other dropshippers get the emails just fine (I have about 12 dropshippers, 2 don’t get the emails). I get the emails in cc to my email. They check their spam, junk etc, and it’s nowhere to be found. When I forward them the email, they get the emails. They receive normal emails that I send to them directly. So it’s only the automated notifications that don’t arrive. Can you please what may be causing this issue? Many thanks!

Since only 2 of your dropshippers are not getting the emails but the others do, we don’t have enough information to reproduce that behavior in our development environment and guess that caused the issue.
Please contact us from the contact form our profile page and give us more details about the orders that fail to send the emails. We could use information like what kind of products have been bought (like single or variable products), what other WordPress plugins might be involved in the process, what are the email providers of your dropshippers and how they differ from the others who get the emails, and the more information you can give us, the easier it will be for us to help you.

Unfortunately WooCommerce Dropshippers can’t be used that way. Dropshipper price is meant to be the amount the Administrators owe to their suppliers (the dropshippers) when the items are shipped to customers. You are probably looking for a Wholesaler plugin.

Hi,
I am using this extension and have been for a while and it works well. I have been informed though that one drop shipper is marking her orders every few days as completed and they are then coming back as still processing.
I have looked at our servers and see that the site is slow at these times. Sometimes a 502 error.
I note that the orders page has buttons and on pressing it triggers many actions. Emails to be sent etc. Could it be that the buttons are being pressed before the processes have completed? Causing an error and the user does not realise as there is no confirmation as such so they continue to press the order sent buttons? Can you advise what can be done to prevent this? I think it’s an interesting issue and perhaps avoiding many buttons on pages could solve it? Many thanks. Carrie

Hi, thank you for your response. i see the field you are speaking about but obliviously this address can not be the same for everyone since this is intended for a system with several drop shippers.
Is there some kind of snippet we can add there that would pick up the address of the drop shipper concerned by that order? The address will have to be added dynamically based on each DP address and not shop address.
It makes no sense to have that field address the same for everyone if it’s for a drop shipping platform.
Also is there a way to edit the packing slip? and have the price added to the packing slip. drop shippers usually wants to have the price displays for custom purposes declaring the value of the good.

That field on the packing slip is intended to be the address of the shop owner, since Dropshippers are totally invisible to the customers, who are unaware of who is actually sending them the goods.
Keeping in mind that we don’t actively support any custom behavior, you could use the WordPress add_filter() to hook to that option and make it look different.

In the mean time though, is there currently any way to change the font used on the PDF packing slip?
Further to my previous comment – I noticed that the Cost of Goods (from the cost of goods plugin) is being added not only to the supplier email (as you’d expect) BUT also to the Packing List – Which you do NOT want, as the customer will see this this document. Please can you fix this?

Regarding changing or customizing the layout of packing slips, we might consider that for a future release.
As for the Cost of Goods plugin, they are probably hooking the product title function, so that is visible wherever a products is being showed. Unfortunately we do not have power on an unexpected behavior caused by third party plugin.

I’ve disabled the COG plugin for now. – What about simply altering the font that’s used on the Packing Slip – is this easily done with a bit of additional code in the functions.php or css? Would really help if I could simply change the font. Thanks

Unfortunately the pdf packing slip doesn’t work like a web page. It is generated by a PDF library and it uses a font that has to be free for us to distribute and must contains all the visible characters for any language in the world, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic characters, and so on. That was the only choice at the time we added that feature. We are still looking for something nicer but not many fonts out there meet these criteria.

Things I have checked
1: The dropshipper users email addresses are valid and those users are registered as dropshippers.
2: The dropshipper is linked to the product from the dropshipper dropdown.
3: The setting for “Emails to dropshippers will be sent FROM this email” has our email address in that field.

Yes we are using Version 3.0.9 The orders go to the processing status and send out the default “Processing” email to the customer but no email goes to the dropshipper. Nothing in the SMTP logs either.
The only other thing I should mention is that we auto complete our orders using this code from here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/
But this should not stop your plugins email from going out. Any other ideas what could be stopping it from going out?

Regarding your issue, if the orders are never going to Processing, that it might be the cause, yes. Unfortunately there is no way to change that from the administration panel, but if you are comfortable with manually editing the plugin’s code, you could change any “woocommerce_order_status_processing” hook in the file “dropshipper-new-order-email.php” to “woocommerce_order_status_completed”.

Thanks for your reply. I removed the code which autocompleted orders a few days back already and the problem still continues. So all my orders which go to processing are not sending out any dropshipper mails?

Strange. We were on version 3.0.9 and there were no update notifications for it in our backend. So I manually downloaded it again from here and see there is a version 3.0.12 which i have now installed. In future, how will we know when there are updates available If it does not notify in our admin section of woocommmerce?

A further Problem is, that not needed meta datas are shoeing in the Dropshipper E-Mail.

Regarding your issue, our plugin is not currently able to get readable labels from custom meta field of a product, this is also why in the past we stated WooCommerce Dropshippers does not support any third party plugin. We are currently looking into this but we have not an ETA yet.

unfortunately WooCommerce Dropshippers does not directly support any third party plugin. Dropshippers can only be assigned by products or by any WordPress taxonomy like product categories, tags, and such.
WooCoomerce takes care of all the orders for the shop administrator . Dropshippers have a panel where they can see their orders.

HI It seem the email for an update from Envato will not install. It says there is already a folder: Destination folder already exists. /home2/discharg/public_html/sptruckbox/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-dropshippers/
Plugin installation failed. I do not want to delete this folder in fear of loosing the current settings and info I have added to this plugin settings. so how does one update the plugin???

Hello, Email notifications when dropshippers have completed an order have stopped arriving. Emails to dropshippers notifying them of new orders are fine, and I’m getting the CC email to them. So it’s only affecting the notification to me when they’ve completed the order. The email address is still filled in, stating where dropshippers notifications should be sent. Please can you look into this? Thank you so much
I also just heard one of my dropshippers, when clicking the link in the email to mark as shipped, got a “critical error”. When then logging into the dashboard, it showed item as shipped.

Fantastic, thanks! One of my dropshippers also isn’t getting the order notifications from my shop. I can see in my send email tracking plugin that the emails seem to be sent, but they’re not reaching her.
