My plugin won’t update because it says the license is being used on another site. When we migrated hosting, we deleted the old site and can no longer gain access. How can I update my plugin?

My website requests the plugin be updated from time to time but it takes several days before the updates are available on this website. Not very good support.

Let me explain to you why neither of these are an option at this time.
When I try to create an account at wpbakery.com I am prompted to enter my full name and email address, so far so good. I receive an email asking me to confirm my email address which I click to confirm then I am redirected tot he login page which requires a password – WHICH I DO NOT HAVE. So I click on forgot password and I get ‘Whoops, looks like something went wrong’. Then whatever I click after that tells me it has already been sent but nothing arrives.
So for now this is my only option for updates.
In addition to the above – when I purchased this it was registered when the purchase code was added via my website. This got lost somne time ago during one of your upgrades.
Hello, As the license is purchased via codecanyon, in this case, you should import the license into your WPBakery account. To do so, you can login into: support.wpbakery.com/login If you are not sure about the login details, then use the reset password option and use the email id associated with your codecanyon account. Once logged in, navigate to licenses page and click on “import it” option at the bottom of the page. It will then prompt you to login into codecanyon to complete the import. You can then activate the plugin license as per: https://wpbakery.com/video-academy/activate-wpbakery-page-builder-wordpress-license/

I don’t think this plugins actually worked as advertised/demo’d for any extensive, stable amount of time. If it had stability in as much as it does features it would be a viable product. Thus far it claims to do x,y,z but barely ever loads consistently. Bloatware resource hog.

duh… im so stupid… thank you
Plugin has a bug. I can not Add Media to any page or post as long as the plugin is activated. I disable this plugin and then I can add media to my pages or posts. Anyone has the same issue ?????

Hello, The extended license can only be if the plugin will be included in a commercial theme. If you will be using separate domains on a multisite setup, then each will require a regular license of it’s own.

Like others, I’ve noticed that with version 6.0.4, the add media button no longer works. Disabling your plugin fixes it. I’ve seen you tell others to use 6.0.5, but I don’t see any way to access that version. The latest on codecanyon is 6.0.4 and the update tools in wordpress don’t see any newer version either. Is there a fix in the works?
Here’s a little additional information. When you try and insert an image using the add media button, the JS console in the browser shows “Uncaught TypeError: attachments.get is not a function”. This code noted is: /wp-content/plugins/js_composer/assets/js/dist/backend.min.js?ver=6.0.4

In Row shortcode > Design Options tab > Background or Border color > assign any color and then slide transparency level to very left (to have full transparency) > but that Alpha remains to 1% and do not go to 0%. Can you please guide us how to fix this issue.

17.07.2019 – ver 6.0.5
15.07.2019 – ver 6.0.4
...
And on Codecanyon (right-hand side sidebar on item description) says it was updated on 18th of July – which means 6.0.5 should be available to download, if I’m not wrong. But it isn’t. When I download, the main js_composer.php file still says 6.0.4.
Again, what’s happening and can you check in more detail this time please?

Hi,
I’ve downloaded a new license for a new project to update the old WP Baker Visual Composer. However, when I tried to install the new js_composer.zip file it says the destination folder already exists. I assume it’s because it’s the old version of the plugin.
I’d like to start a support ticket but the support system doesn’t recognize that I bought a new license and there is nowhere to add the new license to the acount.
Please advise.
