Love the plugin…have one strange issue however. I’m using OceanWP for my theme – this theme does have a social icons bar. When I access a page with Real3D Flipbook shortcode, my social icons turn to blank squares. Any idea how I can fix this? Maybe specify different FA icons in code?

Flipbook uses font-awesome 5 so you need to use font-awesome also for your socual icons bar, or use different version of font-awesome inside flipbook ( replace css file in real3d-fliopbok/css and add new folder with fonts)

Thanks for the reply – I am using Font Awesome already for the social bar. And again, the issue only happens on a page where Real3D is called. I replaced the CSS in flipbook/CSS with the Font Awesome CSS from my theme…no luck. Any other advise?

OK – I fixed my issue. I copied the font-awesome.min.css from my theme to the flipbook/css folder. This allows my social icons to appear on pages where Real3D is called. There is delay in loading the icons but it’s certainly better than blank squares.

My company purchased this plugin, and for the most part, I’ve been able to get it working. However, my Table of Content doesn’t seem to be added to loading on any PDF files I upload. Is there something we need to do when creating the PDF files? The PDF bookmarks are working when viewing in Adobe and Chrome.
Please make sure you have the latest version from Codecanyon, there was a bug with Table of Contents that was fixed in one of recent updates.

hi, i’ve purchased the plugin and using it for 2 weeks now, generally im very happy, i have to thank you for that, but i also have some problems i couldnt resolve: 1- search is not functioning properly, 2- if you click a link in the e-book, it opens the adress on same tab, its ok, but when you go back, e-book starts with the first page, 3- you cannot write page number and go to the desired page from up-left corner..

Please update to latest version 3.7.5, those issues should be solved 1. & 3. please let me know if the issue is still there after updating to latest version 2. you need to enable deep linking feature, then it will go back to the same page. I will add option to open PDF link in new tab

thanks for the fast reply, i’ve checked, deep linking is already enabled, but deep linking prefix is empty.. about the update; should i just uninstall and install the new one, and my settings will be the same, right? or is there any other way to do that?
Yes you just uninstall and install new version, current settings will remain saved. You need to set custom deep linking prefix, fox example “book1_”
after the update, search and page number problems are solved, thanks. but the second problem remains, when i go back from the link, book restarts from the first page. is there an option to let user go to a new page from the link in the ebook?

Hi, tested od desktop, Android Samsung S9 and iPad Air, everything is working fine. Maybe the problem could be on older / slower Android or iOS devices, since you use “webgl” view mode for mobile. Try changing mobile view mode to “swipe”, “3d” or “simple”. You can also reduce “PDF page size” for mobile to 1500 or use option “PDF to JPG Flipbook” instead of “PDF Flipbook”.

There is a strange behavior on the admin listing of the flipbooks. If you right click on the options to edit and duplicate, the plugin behavior strangely. For example, I duplicated on flipbook and then decided to edit the new flipbook in a new window by right clicking and selecting “open link in new tab”. Normally, this would open the edit screen in a new tab. However, with your plugin it duplicates the flipbook again. My guess is because the anchor tag value is #. Thus it is reproducing whatever the last command was (as set by the query string.) Which is not expected behavior…

Some time ago I bought this flipbook but I had to stop using it because there is no hotspot function. One field per html code is not hotspots. The hotospot in the photo allows you to select a part of the photo and assign to it, e.g. URL address. In the picture there may be a few or a dozen such hotspots (marked fragments with links to other sites). You can add separate hotspots for each new flipbook page. Do you plan to add such a function?

Hi, yes this feature will be added very soon. It is already possible to add “hotspots” via HTML content, you can add any HTML and style it and position with inline CSS. I understand that is not user friendly so it wil be implemented as you described.

Yes that is possible, with flipbook mode “lightbox”.
Thanks, but if that’s enabled, an image is chosen for me by your plugin, a thumbnail. I want to attach the link to open the lightbox on an existing image on the page.
you can remove the “Lightbox thumbnail” and set “Lightbox CSS class”, then assign the same CSS class to your existing image and click on image will open lightbox.

You need to uninstall current version then install new version. Current flipbooks will remain saved.

Hi, the plugin has been updated, latest version is 3.7.5, PDF flipbook should load much faster now. Also, showing thumbnails on start makes loading slower, especially if PDF is large.

Might be a dumb question – but how do i add this?
The PDF is interactive and I’ve added a button in inDesign which is working just fine.
Flipbook uses PSF.js for PDF processing. Usually links work if they are annotations, not just plain text. Probably best tool to add links is Adobe Acrobat Try to link to a web page where PDF will start downloading on page load.

You can add multiple images at once, with SHIFT and click multiple images from media library, or select multiple images to upload.

Hi, size of the book – width is 100% of container (parent div), height depends on option “container aspect”. For JPG flipbook you can upload all images at once. Yes there is a bug that you cannot add more pages to existing pages, you need to add all pages at once. It will be fixed in next update.

Hi, yes that is possible, you can have a JPG page, for example white background, and on top of that you can have any HTML content, including iframe with web page.
