1) Yes, it’s possible to make it look similar. You just need to setup the image size correctly ahead of creating the entries. Then use the 3 column layout.
2) Yes, it will be responsive.
3) Yes, that’s also possible. Each entry has a field called ‘personal url’. You can add the custom url there. Then when building the layout, you can choose the single page links to open the personal url instead of the default single page.

Hi, Is it possible to hide the email field in the back-end under ‘Aditional Information’ without editing the plugin files? I want to make sure people use the email field under ‘Social Profile Links’ so it just appears as an icon link. Also is it possible to hide some of the Social links fields? Thanks

But if you you’re ok with editing the plugin files or add some custom code to your child theme, write me using the ‘contact author’ option in the support tab and I’ll provide some info on how to do it. Hi there am interested in this plugin, can you please let me know if it can do the following: I need to create a director of members (who will not have access to the site, so it will just display their details with some custom fields). These members will belong to certain locations, eg. London, New York etc. I have specific users who can access the site but can only see the members from their location, so London User can login view his members and download the list but cannot view or download the New York members. Is this possible? Thank you!

Hi Torsten, there’s currently a hidden feature to display the name below the hover image, adding ‘hovertitle’ to the ‘display’ parameter in the shortcode. You can try it already with the version you have access to. I can extend the plugin to include the option ‘hoverposition’ for example, to display the job title also in the next update. sorry wrong plugin
Hello! Looking for a small and easy team, staff plugin for our site. Responsive of course. What we do need is to be able to call groups/teams or a member by shortcode to place on needed pages. Also that its polylang supported. TOday we have a verry minimal look done with UL and LI but its manually made in text mode in WP. We have a photo, name, title, phonenumbers and e-mail. The content is controlled by the css in the theme so the plugins i tested so far haver their own css rules for H2, links etc and thus I need to css hack them so it looks like we want it; instead of just leaving the styles clean in plugin witch is better i think. But I wanted to ask you if your product is clean and fast and easy to customize as well and how the support for polylang works? here is a screenshot at the current simple look we have today and it works on tablet and mobile perfectly and image scale accorenly. https://prnt.sc/kdygsq
- The layouts available are responsive
- You can have shortcodes to display a specific group – or even selected groups – of members or even individual members
- The team entries are stored as a Custom Post Type, so it’s compatible with polylang. The way it works is that you’ll need to have a version of the same entry for each language, same way as for posts and pages.
- My plugin contains some CSS rules for the layouts, but doesn’t have many styles for headers and links, inheriting the theme styles. You might still need simple css hacks for one thing or another, but usually the layouts inherit lots of the theme’s styles
- Depending on the customizations you need, they can be more easy to achieve or less.
- The plugin is old (5 years) so it had time to mature and it’s very stable. I tried to keep it simple, without super complex features that would just bloat the plugin unnecessarily.
- The plugin doesn’t have a layout that looks exactly like what you have now out of the box, but it shouldn’t be hard to create something very similar

is there a limit on the amount of categories that can be selected from the drop down menu in the short code generator? currently I have 40 categories and not even half are showing. is there another setting I need to display them all?

Hello! I was wondering if it would be possible to reduce the size of the lightbox pop-up when clicking on people’s portraits. Right now it takes up the width of almost the entire screen, but I would like it to be more narrow. Would this be possible? Thank you in advance!

Hello! Do we purchase 1 copy per url or per multisite installation? We have about 11 multisite installations (about 250 sites) but they all have the same basic url – for example: *.sample.edu. So my question is, do I need 1 or 11 copies? I can’t find the answer in the license. Thank you.

This is a question that’s not so simple to answer, specially because it’s Envato who controls the licenses and sometimes they are vague about this. A few years ago an Envato staff member answered this to a similar question:
You need one license per main domain. If you are using WP multisite to run multiple subdomains under one domain, you only need one license. (For example, product1.mysite.com; product2.mysite.com; product3.mysite.com.)
On the other hand, if you’re using WP multisite to run different sites on different domains, you’ll need one license for each site.

So if I understood correctly, if you have 11 domains, you would need 11 licenses, one for each domain. Unless they are all under the same domain, in this case, only one license.

I have two questions. So far many issues with three other similar plugins. 1.0 Is it compatible with revolution slider. two other plugins broke the slider and it would not display. and second is there a Grid slider element so the staff scrolls on main page

The plugin works well along side revolution slider and other slider plugins. The plugin already had plenty of time to mature and all conflicts reported so far where solved.
There currently isn’t a slider layout unfortunately. Only grid, hover grid, table and thumbails pager (similar to gallery). If you have any other question let me know.

OK Thank you. All good except the slider. I cant display them all on the main page, maybe one day you could add that similar to a testimonial slider where you can choose how many side by side. Like 4 on desktop, 2 on tablet and one on phone to be responsive. Id buy for sure then

Please note: when this plugin is updated from from wordpress, the wrong plugin gets installed. This is a plugin with the same name coming from wordpress.org directory. Can you please change the name or fix this? thanks!
Hi! This only happens with initial versions of the plugin. This happened because that free plugin uses the same namespace / slug as my plugin. Once you update to the latest version of my plugin, it shouldn’t happen. Sorry for the issue, unfortunately I didn’t have control over this. Grid images not shrinking on Internet Explorer. This page works great in all browsers except IE11 on a PC. https://www.biomatrica.com/about-us/ The images are not shrinking inside the grid box, they’re staying at the size set in Settings, currently 500px for this site.

Hi! In the shortcode generator you can select how many columns you want to have. If you share the link to your page I can check if there’s any css conflict that is interfeering with this. We noticed from the last update that our envelope icon disappeared. We noticed it was coded as fa-envelope-o but that does not pull the envelope icon in. When we went through the CSS for font-awesome in the plugin, we removed the -o from the envelope code and now our icons are showing. Not sure if this needs to be fixed in the plugin’s CSS or not, but when we visited Font Awesome’s website, there is no icon that is coded with just the -o (https://fontawesome.com/icons?d=gallery&q=envelope-). Hi! Thank you for pointing it out. It’s actually related with different fontawesome versions. The plugin is/was still using fontawesome 4, which uses fa-envelope-o. But it’s possible your theme or another plugin is already loading fontawesome 5 and there’s some issues. I’ll release an update this week where I’ve updated the icons to use fontawesome 5. Tonight I asked that all pictures of players, leaders and others in the association that they disappeared and when I went in to watch so your plugin was deactivated and when I turned it on again it was updated and everything has disappeared 172 is this a damn joke. I went into a company I have and exactly the same mistake where all employees are gone as I added what fan have you found for fucking jokes !!!!!!
Hi! Sorry that you’re having issues, hopefully they will be solved quick and easily.
First I’ll ask you to confirm if you are using my plugin or a different one with a similar name. I ask this because there doesn’t seem to be a record of a plugin purchase with your username. It could be that you’re using one from another developer.
If I understood correctly what happened to you, last time I saw something similar happening, was because an update from a free plugin with the same name was able to override the premium files and therefore deleting the plugin and instancing their own custom post type and that’s why the entries where no longer visible. If that’s what happened to you, to solve that, you would need to delete that plugin and install the original one that you used to build your team entries (being my plugin or a similar one). The entries should still be in the database.
Check if this was the same. Confirm which plugin you currently have installed and see if it’s the one you originally used to build your team.

Can you tell me if you have any plans to update the Table format to have column headings? I’m asking because we love this plugin, but with rebuilding our websites and staying within Accessibility guidelines, we want to move to a table style format rather than having images and other layouts. But the table doesn’t have column headings that a screen reader or other assistive technology can properly read which results in a fail. So having a listing with headings such as Name, Department, Email, Phone Number or Extension, etc. Thanks!
