The is an excellent plugin but be careful with auto updating as the Wordpress repository has another Team Showcase plugin that gets picked up instead of this one.

It was really tough choosing just one reason for my five star rating. I looked at all the other plugins out there (and even purchased one of them), but this is by far the best and easiest to use. Unlike the other plugins, this lets you customise what you call the team and members (I used it for a university website) and most importantly, the 'Free HTML' field lets you display whatever information you want on the main info card. In my experience, other plugins say that you can add other information fields, but they're just meta info fields in WordPress or at best, you can display on a click-through to a profile page, but not on the title card.

It integrated perfectly into our theme, and the filters in the grid view worked perfectly for what I needed. When I ran into trouble understanding how the filters were sorting across the top of the grid, I contacted Carlos and he could not have been more helpful.

He responded almost immediately and helped me work it through on my site until I was happy with it.

The preview in the shortcode generator is really helpful as well, as it cuts down on the time going back and forth to see how it would look in our theme. Highly recommend!

Flexible and well-crafted.

Had an error that kept appearing on my site. contacted Carlos which we are about 14 hour difference. He response time was quick and he fix the problem immediately out side of office hrs. Now that superb customer service, and did I mention what a great plugin!!!!

Great plugin for anyone but is quite developer friendly too, if you like to get your hands dirty with code. Author gives great support too for things that might not be in the documentation. And quick too.

We use this plugins now for some years and meanwhile had some questions and adjustmentes to the display options as well as multilanguage issues. During all these tasks the flexibility of the plugin was perfect and moreover the support of it's core developer Carlos was extremely helpful, blazing fast and very uncomplicated at any time. We can fully recommend the plugin from all perspectives!

This is an outstanding plugin! I studied several 'team' plugins and found this to be far and away the best. One of the best features was the support ... reading through the support questions: every one was answered promptly. After I purchased, as I dug into the CSS I found the plugin was well documented and easy to modify. My client loves the team page. If you are considering a team plugin - buy this one. The author is proud of his work and it shows with his support. Don't buy unsupported plugins - you'll find yourself doing the work over after throwing away your initial investment. Five stars!

While I could select other reasons, the support is really exceptional. I was asking for another field to add fax numbers. The author went ahead and built a complete system to add arbitrary new fields. Incredibly powerful. I won't claim my inquiry being the reason for extending the plugin this way, as he had thought about doing something like that for some time. That doesn't diminish the experience, though.

I'm not giving a good review because I got what I wanted, but because the solution is so much better than anything I had hoped for. A solution that - in my opinion - greatly adds value to an already great plugin.

All the time the author was forthcoming, exceptionally friendly in the support forum and in his mails, and responding quickly.

Yeah, and of course it also helps, that the plugin itself is really great, too :)

Feels like I've tested a hundred team/staff/directory plugins - in reality it was probably the same 10 bad ones over and over again. I love this friggin' plugin - it's the answer to the question 'What would I want a team plugin to do in a perfect world?'
