Thank you The titles are all LTR while the text is correct as RTL. Even in the recent posts, the titles are LTR instead of RTL, can this be fixed

If title will be changes from the setting of the theme that’s mean all title will be one setting but what if the website is dual Albagir, where Arabic part should be RTL and English part should be LTR. Is there any solution beside changing the theme setting

Well, some crawling blocking mechanisms have whitelists for google crawling bots, while others will block all non-human traffic that comes to them, this depends on the software used.
For dual RTL and LTR titles from the same source… this is a bit tricky. If on the source page, there would be a CSS selector to identify if the current title is LTR or RTL, it would be much easier. If this is not the case, I could try to implement in the plugin some advanced detection mechanisms for these cases, to allow the plugin to force the title to be LTR or RTL for articles, independently (but I don’t know exactly how to do this, right now, I just think it should be possible).

Regarding Echo, it has the same limitations like Crawlomatic right now. If you could differentiate feeds into LTR and RTL articles, that would solve this problem.

To not display the featured image twice, please go to plugin’s ‘RSS to Posts’ menu screen, select the rule you want to edit -> click ‘Settings’ for it -> in the ‘Post Content’ settings field -> delete the %%item_show_image%% shortcode from it (if you have it there -> save settings.
If you don’t have that shortcode in that settings, another option is to check the ‘Strip Images From Post Content’ checkbox, found in the same settings field as mentioned above.

1. In RSS to Post > Settings, I only have %item_content % as the ‘Generated Post COntent. So no problems there.
2. If I strip images from Post content, other images within the content body itself no longer get displayed. This is NOT desired.
The source article has a featured image set, and the resulting post from the RSS feed also sets the featured image correctly in wordpress. ONLY it’s repeated again, as part of the post content. Can we fix this somehow? Please have a look at the URLs I provided.

The first solution that comes to my mind is to configure your theme, so it does not display the featured image of the article (when viewing the post page only). In this way, only the image generated by the plugin will remain.
My plugin does not support right now the stripping of only the image that is set as the article featured image (and to leave the other images from the article). I can think about this, and make a payed custom update for you with this feature (because it is not a widely requested feature). So, the easiest solution for this, is to configure your theme to hide featured images for article pages.

Btw.. I noticed a new issue.. when you delete one RSS to Post Rule, the ID for the next rule rolls back by one (to accomodate for the deleted rule)... hence in such a scenario, the options for ‘Permanently delete all posts’ & Move all posts to trash do not work, as the generated posts are still referring to the old ID (I think).. Have you noticed this?

Yes, I checked the ‘Skip Checking Feed Image’ and ‘Skip Checking OG:Image Meta’ checkboxes in the ‘RSS To Post Rules’ menu screen -> ‘Settings’ button for each rule.
This tells the plugin to use the featured image found in the post content (before, it was using another image it found for the article (from another source)) – this is why it did not stripped the image away, before – because it did not recognize it.

One question though… if I use the ‘Offload S3 Lite’ plugin, to store images remotely on an AWS S3 bucket (to reduce hosting overheads).. will the images in the post content & featured images work with the replaced URLs? Actually.. there’s no reason it shouldnt… the process flow is anytime an asset is imported into media library, Offload S3 Lite moves it to an S3 bucket and rewrites the image URL in the database… this is an independent process to how the posts are created… whether by RSS or manually… Another question though.. I saw one option of Keyword Filtering for your plugin… does that work properly? E.G. If I get feed from a Sports blog, but limit the import to only posts which contain “baseball” OR (NOT AND) “Ice-Hockey” ... This stuff works?
Yes, you can define in the plugin ‘Required Words’ and ‘Banned Words’. You should put ‘baseball,Ice-Hockey’ in the ‘Required Words’ list. You can also change if only one word should be required from the list or all.
Can you add this feature because I found this issue. Most of the hosting got file count limitation and you add option to permanently delete the post when post expired can you all deleted all the images part of it including the feature image in the database. like a media cleaner but automatically. I think this will me the solution to all your plugins when it comes to file count issue due to many unused images.

The plugin is able to import iframes of you input a html class or id selector (when getting full content), from where it should get the iframe and article content.
So you should input the respective values in the ‘Full Content Query Type’ and ‘Search Query String’ input fields, in rule settings.

The minimum running interval for the plugin importing rules is now set to 1 hour. This is because unexperienced users would set it to import posts at a much faster rate than their server could handle – and would complain afterwards that the plugin is not functioning.

I encountered this issue in some cases, when the modsecurity firewall is configured to not allow sending of URLs in POST requests.
So, to solve this issue, you should configure the modsecurity sofware on your server to allow this, or to fully disable it.

I have CPanel hosting with GoDaddy, this doesn’t appear to be an option. There is no reference to modsecurity or any such firewall. Please advise.
What are my options? There is no disclaimer stating that this issue might arise on certain hosting platforms. I do not have any firewall options through my hosting. I have never encountered this sort of issue before, is this something you can resolve or shall I request a refund? I would very much like to get this working.
Shared CPanel hosting (and most shared hosting plans) do not offer the ability to amend ModSecurity. If you cannot offer a solution, can you please promptly refund the purchase as I was not made aware of this prior to purchase. You should make buyers aware that on some server platforms this will not work without additional work. I have used other plugins that import from RSS feeds that work flawlessly. Please either offer me a solution that I can implement or process the refund, thank you.

The plugin has automatic update feature. If you install it on your main site, please go to ‘Plugins’ WordPress menu and click ‘Check for updates’ and ‘Update now’ for the plugin.

The plugin did not needed any update for it to work with the url you pointed out initially.
All you have to do, is configure it correctly, for it to import the articles.
You have to configure it like this:
In the ‘RSS Posts to Rules’ page -> edit your rule by clicking ‘Settings’ for it. Scroll down, check ‘Try to Get Full Article Content’ -> ‘Full Content Query Type:’ = class -> Search Query String (Optional) = ‘content-body’ -> save settings.
Using this config, full article content will be grabbed.
Let me know if you managed to do this.

You can set keywords for all feeds in -> ‘Main Settings’ -> ‘Global Required Words List’.
Regarding the featured image if not image for the post -> edit rule settings and add a valid image URL to -> ‘Default Featured Image’. It must be a valid url to an image.

Regarding the default image, the ‘Default Featured Image’ settings field in the rule should contain a valid URL to an image file (accepted size and format by WordPress). Let me know if it does not work.

Yes, exactly this is the functionality of the ‘Default Image’.
It seems to be not working for me — the Auto featured img is selected and default img link is added. The featured img shows up not the default img for missing featured img.

I have articles coming from one specific rss feed link some has Featured images and some don’t. I was hoping if there a way when I add default img it only shows up on the placement of missing featured imgs? Right now what happens when i select default img under your setting it replace all the images with the default img instead only the one that don’t have the featured img.
