Hi – what profile/registration plugins is Bookly compatible with? I just tried to use Profile Builder plugin and although i can log in and a i can see the details are logged in the customer table the appointment does not appear in the appointment table. Please let me know if there are any plugins you recommend for front-end login and profiles.

Currently there’s no integration with this type of plugins. Bookly has an option for new customers to have automatically WP user accounts on their first booking. To enable this functionality you need access settings -> customers and enable – “Create WordPress user account for customers” and also the notification that will send the username and password for this account – “Notification to customer about their WordPress user login details”.
Please check if the WP user you are logged in with is connected to some customer (that has appointments) in Bookly.

Hi, I have following needs for my service and having a hard time configuring it in bookly. My first service “birthday Party” should be available to customers only on Saturdays and Sundays on specific time slots – 11 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. Each service duration 2h and cleanup 1h. Is there a way to configure this with combination of service schedule and staff member schedule? I was not able to make it. I can’t even get my time slots start from 11 am. I also purchased Bookly Service Schedule add-on but no use. Please advice. Thanks

Yes, you can set it up this way by using breaks. Though we’ll need to apply a fix regarding this matter so please send us an email to support@ladela.com with this inquiry and the purchase code. The service schedule add-on can be used if a service has a shortened schedule in comparison to other services that are provided by the same staff members.

1. customer books online however go through filters. 2. Filters will then decide which calendar to show the customer. As different services and filters ranking will having different services allocated.

Hi , is there a planned date for clinet management . where clients can change/cancel their bookings ?

A customer can cancel his appointments if you add a cancellation code to the email notifications template and also if you’ll add appointment list which contains a cancellation button (the appointment list can be viewed only customer that logged in with their WP accounts).
Regarding rescheduling this looks like a feature we haven’t implemented yet. However, we’re constantly working on improvements and value all feedback. Also I can not get my Google calendar to sync I have followed on the online instruction but when I go to a staff member in Bookly I get the following error message .
Googlecalender: error refreshing the OAuth2 token, messge:’<error : invaild _grant,’ error desciption’. “token has been expired or revoked ’>

There are two ways to cancel an appointment as a customer:
1. To click on the link, which was included into confirmation e-mail template with {cancel_appointment_url} or {cancel_appointment} codes. You can add those in Email Notifications templates.
2. Customers can view and cancel appointments as they have ability to become WP users. It is possible to add an “appointments list” shortcode to the page besides the main booking form. Check the page edit mode for adding this and browse these pages with useful information:

In case with such Google Calendar’s behavior, you should make sure there was no trailing whitespace inserted when you were copying the “Client secret” in API Credentials at your Google Developers Console. It might also be that the Calendar API was not enabled for your project. Please, check these step-by-step instructions that will help you determine what you might have done differently:

I have tried both codes {cancel_appointment_url} and {cancel_appointment} codes.
when i click on the link on the email sent it simply takes me to my website home page and dose not cancel the booking
please advise

1) There’s a setting that offers the option to choose what happens when you click this link, please check settings -> customers -> cancel appointment action (cancel – will the status of the appointment to “cancelled” and the record will be kept and delete – the record will be deleted). Besides that you can set the cancellation pages and once you click this link you’ll be redirected to them (Cancel appointment URL (success)/Cancel appointment URL (denied)).
2) Please try to disconnect and then connect back the staff members. If the behavior persists then send us an email to support@ladela.com with this inquiry.

How can I assure that a calendar day is not booked more than once
Hi,
It depends how many staff members you have and the set capacity for the services you provide. If you have one staff member that provides a service (with a capacity for one customer) then once he’s booked there will be no longer available time slots for booking.

Currently these features are not supported, a customer will have automatically created a new WP user account when he will book hist first appointment if you’ll enable one setting, there’s no option for registration or private page, or Facebook integration.

2) You can send reminders (email and SMS) only one day before the booked appointments. There’s no option to send a reminder 90 minutes before the appointment.

Dear Srs.
We are evaluating a booking solution for a wordpress site.
We have a lot of particularities.
we only book for groups We want to do:
1- The group select a range of dates 2- we need to know: – How many people from 0-3 years old ( free accommodation) – How many people from 3-13 years ( reduced rate ) – How many people older than 13 (normal rate) 3- You choose full board or not
We have two rated: high season or not
we have two conditions: – we only accept groups over 20 people – We only accept 6 or more night
And finally, If a group makes the reservation no one else can book on those dates, the whole house is for the group, we do not mix groups.
Can your plugin manage all of this?

we have rooms for single and couples
and we want singles to book a room for couples when single rooms are busy, couples only book for couple rooms.

Hi,
I notice that you are stating that bookly is not compatible with cache plugins.
I would like to ask for clarification on this.
My site is hosted with siteground and they provide cache products with their hosting:
Static cache Dynamic cache Memcache Google page speed
Each of these options can be enabled / disabled individually.

The payment step can be hidden, though if you want to book more time slots you can do it only with the built-in cart, by adding these slots to the cart before proceeding to the last steps.

1. Account creation is not necessary, though you can enable this optional feature at the Settings/Customers page;
2. Sure, you can configure email notifications to be sent for approved and pending bookings separately, just as for staff members and customers;
3. Navigate to the //Staff Members/Schedule tab to set necessary hours for days of the week, those will define booking availability.
