Hi sir, Please, can a user book a time without payment method, and use only check box to accept the regler before at click on the submit button? Regards A.J.

1. Account creation is not necessary, though you can enable this optional feature at the Settings/Customers page;
2. Sure, you can configure email notifications to be sent for approved and pending bookings separately, just as for staff members and customers;
3. Navigate to the //Staff Members/Schedule tab to set necessary hours for days of the week, those will define booking availability.

Is there any option import Google Calender to Bookly Calender? I mean if there like 100 appointments on Google Calender, can I see this on Bookly to? or must I set it manualy each appointment one by one in Bookly?

We require a booking system. However the way in which we want to configure the bookings is a little complex.

We wish to have ‘conditional’ booking so to speak, i.e. 1 room can take a different combination of occupants – 3 adults + 1 child or 2 adults + 2 children or 1 adult + 3 children etc.

We also want the system to disallow any ‘wrong’ combinations.

So the room itself needs to be configurable to certain combinations of occupants and also check that what’s been entered would be correct for that room.

Is this something that can be dealt with, with your plugin? (I hopefully have explained this well enough!)

Hello I’ve bought your plugin but wonder if your plugin can be used for the moving company where we have number of trucks and number of movers plus address etc. So customer can book one truck and 1,2 or 3 movers per truck. and the price is different depending on the number of movers and trucks. Also client books time blocks like 1, 2, 3 etc hours. What addons do i need to buy

since those addons are not free, i don’t want to buy them before trying to figure it out. Can you please just let me know what addons in your opinion i should purchase to make it work?

Can I use your plugin for hotel booking ?

Just purchased this plugin and am so far really happy with its functionalities. I just have one ask..is it possible to have fixed appointment times, which do not adhere to e.g. an hourly starting time? So for example in my case I would want to have available bookings at 9, 10, 11AM and 12:35, 13:35, 14:35, 15:35PM.

Hello again.

Didnt know how to reply to my last message, but wanted to thank you for such a quick reply. I actually figured out the problem, and deleting and reinstalling the plugin worked.

So far I love Bookly, and plan on purchasing a few of the add-ons. But right now I am trying to figure out and format all of the email notifications. For some reason some content fields show up and then some do not. For example:

Dear {client_name},

Thank You for choosing ________

This email is a confirmation that you have booked

{service_name} {service_info} with {staff_name} on {appointment_date} at {appointment_time}.

The total price of your selected services is {total_price}

Thank you for choosing our company.

{company_name} {company_phone} {company_website}

Wondering where these populate from? how I can change their values?or confirm the right information is being pulled from the correct location. Or maybe I am messing up the format?

Right now the price comes out as a different price then what the client enters, which is a major issue. haha And the only other fields that show up are the three bottom values about the Company.

These values should be taken according to what service and time slot the customer will book, if the codes don’t return any info then probably something is wrong. If the problem persists then please send us an email to support@ladela.com with this inquiry and the purchase code.

I would like customers to book now and pay later. Is there an extension that would allow that?

Hi there – first off – THANKS FOR THIS AMAZING PLUGIN! We’ve got a project we’ve been working on that’s due to go live tomorrow. We had a review and polish meeting with the client a week or so ago and everything was signed off on, but then – this past Wednesday, the client refused to use the calendar plugin we had initially used for booking because it didn’t offer two way sync – AND YOUR PLUGIN SAVED THE DAY! THANK YOU!!

Since the timeline is so strapped and I just found it today, I’ve not had a lot of time to play around with it. I’m running into an issue where pending notifications aren’t being sent to staff and are only occasionally being sent to “customers / clients”

Is this a popular issue? Is there any insight on fixing this?

Sure, the solution here is in adjusting of appropriate parameters of Email Notifications section. We recommend to try testing this feature with following parameters adjusted one-by-one:
- change address in “Sender Email” parameter in Email Notifications tab to an address of another email service provider.
- change “Send Emails as” parameter to “text”
- disable the feature “Reply Directly to Customers”
- make sure that proper email notification templates are enabled as they are set separately for pending and approved bookings.

Hello, We’re trying to add a booking service for the March Break. Basically, we have a class (like a summer camp) that is 1 week long, that we want our clients to book.

What’s the best way to do this? The duration only lets me have services that are all day, but nothing greater. How do I set to 1 service like in your image? (unless you have a better way to do this)

The plugin could be easily used for booking few days in a row with our Multiply add-on. The longest duration of appointment is 24 hours. Set your services Duration parameter to “All Day” and you will have days as timeslots. Multiply add-on chooses time when a selected staff member’s Schedule is available to provide the certain quantity of the selected Service in a row. Although it will not be possible to set a minimum quantity amount to ensure customers book not less than a week. Please, check our Multiply Demo setup here.

Hello. My name is Justin. Just purchased your “Bookly” plugin and it is not working correctly. It will not let me enter staff members, categories, nothing will save. Good call with not adding your purchase code here as this is a public page. Described behavior is usually caused by files that are left after a Lite copy of the plugin. In case you used lite version in the past, make sure that you remove those Bookly Lite files via FTP before installing a full version. Check if you also disabled caching plugins and set all parameters correctly. If you are sure that everything is set properly but it still doesn’t work – please, reply at support@ladela.com with your purchase code, screenshots and the description of the case. You may also include the FTP and WP back-end access credentials so we could investigate and help you fix this.

Dear support,

I’m trying to configure the Google Calendar integration but something is not working: i’ve set everything as written but I got some errors. The first time I tried, I clicked on “connect” on the staff page and I had a JSON error (I don’t remember what kind of). I mean, the connection worked but it was not possible for me to see my calendars for the integration. The second time, and is still happening now, I see a Google error page that says “400. That’s an error.

Error: redirect_uri_mismatch” etc etc. What can I do?

Thank you for purchasing Bookly.

You should make sure there was no trailing whitespace inserted when you were copying the “Client secret” in API Credentials at your Google Developers Console. It might also be that the Calendar API was not enabled for your project. Disconnect your staff members from Google Calendar and then connect them back. If that still doesn’t help – please, check these step-by-step instructions that will help you determine what you did differently.

Hi,

I just purchased Bookly. I’m trying to set up a calendar, but i don’t seem to be able to add a service. When pressing the button, i get a short animation resembling ‘loading’, then, nothing happens. Also, when i add a staff member, they seem to have disappeared upon returning to the bookly plugin. In short: i’m unable to set up any booking calendar whatsoever. Any hints?

Hi, We’ve been having some issues with the way staff member’s calendars are connected to google calendar. Every couple of weeks or so, dates/times are offered to our customers that do not match the availability shown on google calendar. When I go into the ‘staff members’ menu and click on the affected staff member, the following error message is displayed and the calendar does not appear to be connected – ‘Google Calendar: Error refreshing the OAuth2 token, message: ‘{ “error” : “invalid_grant” }’

The above happens without any adjustments having been made by us.

Please advise?

This is how the API works, tokens will expire because of security reasons, especially if staff member has less activity/appointments. How often does this behavior occur?

I don’t like the format of the woocommerce checkout and My account page so I have deactivated woocommerce but can’t figure out an alternative way to create a client account with order history for returning customers. Can you please advise?

In this case you should just enable the feature “Create WordPress user account for customers” at this page: Settings/Customers. It is possible to add “appointments list” shortcode in page edit mode.
