Bought this product and was just never able to use it. The functionality is too regid and not flexible enough to accomodate even simple straight forward booking tasks.

This is a more than acceptable booking plugin except for one GLARING Problem. If, like my client you have more than one page of services and you need to make changes to addon services or even individual services it is an absolutely GRINDING process!

Here is what you have to do. You go to page 2 of services, you make a change to the service and delete an add on service. Then you click save. Bookly then takes you back to page 1 where you have to click on page two and do the same thing for the next services. If like my client you have 14 pages of services this becomes GRINDING. The best example I can use is that it is like if you had an MS Excel spreadsheet with 14 tabs and you went to tab14 and made a change on line 12 after you saved you would be back on tab 1 Line 1.

To make this even worse at the bottom of the services page it shows you links to page 1 - 5 then ......and a link to your last page of services so to get page 7 you have to click page 5 then 6 then 7

If they cannot fix this then the least they could do is fix the linking numbers and have them both at the top and bottom of the screen so I don't have to keep scrolling up and down the screen.

Truly horrendous, especially since I have to pay so much for every single add in and then renew support for each one every six months.

I will mention the support is excellent. But this one issue has insured I will not use it for my clients with more than 10 or so services.

I have installed this plugin for 2 clients now and I would definitely recommend it. The first installation was a few years ago. For this most recent installation, I researched several other plugins again to compare features and pricing - and Bookly still came out on top. It was a little bit more up front, but is ultimately more cost effective because it is a one-time fee versus many other options that are yearly or monthly.

It is a great booking platform. It is a little frustrating that the add-ons can add-up if you want to extend the capability (hence the 4 star), but support is excellent.

Fast and functional, full of options and add-ons (for a fee) to extend the operation according to your needs.
Very clear that the add ons are paid for and what they do other than showing the documentation in advance.

It's already developed to make it easy to edit the visual part of the front-end without special coding knowledge, but if you know something about HTML and CSS, and maybe even translation files, you can style it even more, right from the settings in the back-end , if you have other special needs.

A small investment, but one of the few valid products, constantly updated (a very important thing).

The Add-on system implements the investment expense, but at least you can only buy the functions that you really need, instead of paying so much for a super program with 1000 functions where you then only use 10. It is also a way to incentivize the developer to maintain and implement other features, but last but not least to make his commitment / work sustainable

I especially LOVE that WITHOUT "recursive" (yearly) fees, which are a burden for small businesses, plus when you cancel those subscriptions you are left with nothing.
Instead with this Bookly plugin, even if you have purchased the pro version and any add-ons, you can easily recover your investment WITHOUT further recurring costs.
(Recurring subscriptions are also a cost in the long term, having to pay every year, while this type of one-time payment license pays for itself in the long term)

I also tried the assistance and it is excellent, fast and kind, even the time I made a gaff due to my mistake.
We hope that the developer continues like this, between maintenance and new features.
