Hi, I currently use icloud for my calendars & sync this across devices. How can I sync your plugin with my work & personal icloud calendars to avoid appointment conflicts?

1) Currently there’s no integration with the icloud calendars.

2) Yes, you need to fill in the balance to be able to use this service.

Hi, Is there anyway to select bulk date and time? Most of our customers are students who study monthly. They want to select bulk dates. For instance, a student wants to book 20 lessons of one of our staffs the date starts from July 28th. Some students even want 120 lessons studying at the same time starting from next Monday.

Here is another example. Q. How many lessons do you want? A. 60

Q. When do you want to start? A. July 28

Q. What time do you want to study from every Mon-Fri? A. 7:00 PM

Currently recurring appointments are not supported so it’s not possible to book the way you described.

You could use the built in cart to book more appointments by adding them to the cart before proceeding to the payment step.

I been using the bookly plugins for quite sometimes. Recently i started to use the SMS notification – Evening reminder to customer about next day appointment (requires cron setup).

What is cron setup? what i need to do to make it works?

Cron is a Linux utility which schedules a command or script on your server to run automatically at a specified time and date. A cron job is the scheduled task itself. Cron jobs can be very useful to automate repetitive tasks.

I advise to contact your host provider as setting up cron jobs depends on the host.

Hi how it is possible to make this:

First Question:

Customer Choose He is Man, Women or Kid (can done by service) Then he can choose he/she has long or short hair (dont know how?!) AFTER that the can choose the service.

Because long hair cost more to cut then short hair. Some services can only be done witth long hair.

How can i do this , that i have 3 dropdowns.

Categroy – Choose Hair – Service

Second Question: I dont need the ” I’m available on or after ” how can i delete them?

1) Currently this is not possible, though you could check the extras addon. With this add you can add extra service to the main service, you can check it here: http://extras-demo.booking-wp-plugin.com/demo/

2) You need to update the short code of the booking form, and tick to hide this field “Time range” when you’ll generate the new shortcode. Please check this guide: https://support.booking-wp-plugin.com/hc/en-us/articles/203644871-Place-Booking-Form-In-Website

This is very disappointing

Anyway it is possible when i make group booking that the customer can select from the begining more services.

E.g.

He selects: Hair washing then he can select immediately “hair colouring”.

Or when he goes to group booking section, that he dont have to select again his date (only if he wants to change it)

Hi,

At the moment this isn’t possible, only with extras addon, if you want to additional services to the main service.

If you use the built in cart, you’ll need to choose a time slot for each service.

Though we have in development one addon that will offer to book more services on the first step, that will booked in chain, but it will be released later.

Hello I am looking at buy this plugin for a repair service we offer. My question is there a way to authorize a charge per appointment, instead of billing them 100%? I would also like to know if it is possible to charge an fee if appointment is not canceled within 24hrs.

Currently there features are not supported, the customer is charged straight away if he books an appointment, and there’s no option to charge a fee.

1) If are asking about one time events then it’s not supported at the moment.

2) A service can have a longer duration than one hour (max is one day).

Hi,

If the max capacity for the service is 3 persons then you could add a fixed price and just add a custom field asking for the number of persons. Though if you want to add a fixed price for 1-3 persons and variable price for 4 and more persons then you’ll need to extras addon for the 4 and more persons.

1) Currently Bookly doesn’t have an option to set custom filters on the first step.

2) These are the supported gateways: PayPal Express Checkout, Stripe, Authorize.Net, 2Checkout, PayU Latam, Payson and Mollie.

Hi…. still looking for a solution for a business with fitness courses. So i have some questions….

1. Can i set up an individual time slot to a service, besides the offical opening hours. For example: i want to offer a course two times during the week. A course takes 90min and will start at 14:00 and 17:00.m On the weekends i will offers this course threes times a day. Starting at 10:00, 14:00 and 17:00

is this possible with bookly ?!?

It depend how you want to provide this course, you intend to sell it separately as per booked time slots, then yes, if you want to sell it as packages then it won’t work.

To set it up you’ll need a service with a specific schedule.

So it looks like i can offer two courses a day for example…. one starting at 14:00 and the other one starting at 17:00. They can only be booked seperately. Because i couldn’t set this up with the live demo…. it was not passible to give a specific schedule to the service. the only thing i could change was the general opening hours…. but then i would offer too many courses…. so i am still not sure if i should buy the pluggin. By the way….. these offered courses are “group-courses”.... :-)

Hi Frank,

You need to create a service and link it to a staff member, then the set the schedule in the staff members menu, and add breaks to create only those available hours. If you to set a “group course” you need to change the capacity of the service so more customers can book the same service.

On this plugin URL its mentioned that it provides support for the WPML and we have purchased this plugin considered this things.

And after purchase when we tried then it does not provide support for the Category and Service translation It does not provide support for the dynamic content translation.

Thank you for purchasing Bookly.

You could also try the PoEdit tool for translations. It helps you translate certain strings of the UI. Please note: no tool will help you with the translations of dynamic data (which you fill in). So you are able to translate the UI, but not the entered services, categories and other variables.
Navigate to the Appearance tab to make other front-end changes.

We just ran an auto-update to the Bookly Plugin and it has broken our theme completely. The message we received said “Cannot redeclare wp_crop_image()”.

We have deleted the plugin and reinstalled the older version which repaired the issue, but we are reaching out to let you know this is an issue. We are using the Aqua spa and beauty theme (not sure if that matters) and the latest version of wordpress.

You might place the booking form on top of the page, we usually recommend this to our customers.
Or create a separate page for the plugin. It will decrease the current page loading speed and could be opened in a pop-up window.

No I want to keep the booking form on the lower part of the page. The problem is that the page automatically loads on the booking form, so on the lower part. But I would like the page to load ‘normally’ on the top. So people scroll down, read the text and than see the booking form. Do you have a solution for this?

Hi, after updating my bookly plugin and wordpress version nothing I change in the back-end will stay. If I change the price of a service it doesnt save, if I add another employee it doesnt save. Worst of all: no one can select any appointment anymore front end, services just don’t appear.
