Hello,

I’ve got a question about email notification – “Evening notification with the next day agenda to staff member”. Got a cron job set up which was working with the v.8.3. After updating the plugin to v9.0 it is not sending evening notifications anymore, and cron job’s output shows this error:

Hi.

I want to offer my payment gateway to several hotels to make reservations. The idea is to use a single domain (https://reservas.midominio.co) for each hotel use the payment gateway.

when I install a wordpress to show the services of each hotel in a folder: https://reservas.midominio.co/hotel1, https://reservas.midominio.co/hotel2,...etc and configure each installation: Bookly + WooCommerce of so that each can offer hotel reservations and use my payment gateway, the question is: I can use my regular license in this scenario? I ask the question that I will always use a single domain. Bookly not be used in the domain of each hotel. In other words it would be acting as a booking engine with online payments.

You’ll need one license for such a scenario, though bear in mind Bookly doesn’t have support for multiple branches – so all hotels will be in one “place”.

Please also check our demo to see if it will fit to your needs as longest duration of a service is a full working day.

Thanks for your reply. Reviewing the demo, in the case of hotels not work because Bookly works with intervals of hours and not days so I have to look for another plugin. If instead of hotels, I offer the solution of “payment engine” to beauty salons using a single domain and every beauty salon has its portfolio of services in a folder is sufficient Bookly a single license?

First this is quiet an awesome plugin. Set it up with much ease.

The only problem I have is that the confirmation emails to the client or to myself don’t go through.

I’ve tried both Send emails as HTML & Text in the Email Notification settings but they don’t seem to work at all.

Hi guys. I want to upgrade Bookly to 9.1.1 from 8.5.1 but when I check for updates in Wordpress 4.5 it reports that Bookly is up to date. Why would this be?

Does this mean I need to do a manual update? If so, should I delete the plugin and follow the procedure for a fresh manual install? If I do that will I lose my existing Bookly settings/data? Thank you!

Also in admin panel in design tab (ab-appearance) i can not change steps tabs it shows 1.tab all the time. Its looks like JS problem but i’m not sure.

hello what is the shortcode to add to “Cart Item Data” under settings for the “Notes”? For example [[APPOINTMENT_DATE]] sends the “date of appointment” to the email. I will like to send “Notes” to the same email.

The plugin is not accepting my purchase code, how do I fix this?

Please refund the purchase price. I have asked for support because the add customer feature from the booking form does not work. The custom fields do not show in the staff member booking form. The reply I received was I will have the developers look at this. I am still waiting for features that should already be functioning before releasing a paid version. It is unfortunate I really like the premiss of the plugin and the promised features. However it simply does not function and I cannot wait any longer for developers to fix the issues.

I am carefully evaluating your plugin, it seems to me very good, well done and complete, and I would be very happy to buy it. For this, I would like to know about some specific need/feature that I have.

1) Fonts: can I change the fonts and the colour of the text of the front-end?

2) How can I add an “Accept terms and Conditions” flag just before finalizing the booking?

3) Can I translate the plugin using Poedit program, instead of a WP plugin?

4) I see I can set holidays and days off: but how can I set certain hours off in a specific day, only for that day?

5) Are all the information related to the bookings stored in my WP database? What WP tables are involved?

6) Personally I am not interested in a multi-member staff, I work alone: but I would like to give the client the choice for a telephone, skype or person meeting. How can I do it?

7) Can you suggest me a plugin for automatical invoicing? Ideally, just after the payment an invoice should be sent by e-mail to my customer

1. You may change the font color in the CSS of your WordPress theme.
2. Use html link in Custom FIelds section to add this element at the details step.
3. Yes, many customers use Poedit.
4. The easiest way is to create an appointment in the backend calendar so that nobody else could book it.
5. There are separate tables created for the plugin. 6. You might hide the Staff member field as it is described at this page. Create a custom field with meeting type selection
7. Bookly supports WooCommerce plugin that sends invoice upon payment.

still is not possible to have multiple day booking?

Hi, I’m using the full version of bookly, and when I change the currency to EUR and save it comes back to USD. Is the possibility to change the currency? Also I can’t use all of the functions of the system I keep receive this message “This function is disabled in the lite version of Bookly…”. I purchased the full version.

It looks like you have the lite version installed. Delete it and install the full version.
Change the currency at the Settings -> Payments tab.
Make sure that you hit Save button in the bottom and clear cache after that before you test it.

Dear Bookly

We have successfully being using your product for the last 3 months, and would now like to integrate the SMS and Email reminder notifications.

Unfortunately we are hosting our website on Godaddy\Wordpress, which limits our capability around cPanel, CRON, and auto-scheduling PHP calls. I have tried to run the script manual with mixed results.

At the moment I am called “http://www.ourdomain.com/wp-content/plugins/appointment-booking/lib/utils/send_notifications_cron.php”. This location seem to contain the send_notifications_cron.php file. This approach is not yielding consistent results.

Could you recommend a solution for this predicament, as it is somewhat doing my head in.
