Hi, Just sent you a message!
Many thanks, Alek
Hey there,
great Plugin, thanks alot. Just one Question: Is it possible to have the color being displayed on the single-product page as in the filter (with a thumbnail)?
Cheers,
Sergej
Hi,
Thanks for the nice words, I’m glad you like the plugin.
However, the functionality you are asking about is not supported by the plugin unfortunately. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
Love the plugin!
I got two issues, 1) When trying to load a preset I get this a message saying “undefined” and it can’t be loaded. 2) When I choose to customize the sorting with “select box” the dropdown menu is all out of place from the box itself.
Got any ideas how to fix these things?
BR
Hi,
The ‘undefined’ message appears due to a ‘Missing’ string. It is just a case of missing text. Your saved settings should be loading regardless of this. Are they not when you try to load a previously saved preset? You can contact me using the form at the bottom of this page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho and send me screenshots of the second issue.

Hi!
We love your plugin, but we have somewhat of a problem. We are using the product filter in a sidebar widget on our shop page. We like the way it looks with the style set to “Flat Block” on PC, but on mobile, we would prefer the style to be set to “Flat Select”. Is there anything that we can do to make this work?
Hi,
I’m glad you like the plugin.
Unfortunately it is not currently not possible to have one layout active on desktop and another on mobile devices. The plugin doesn’t support it. Thank you for your understanding.

I was trying to hide the filter on certain categories with this code:
if($woof_set_automatically AND is_tax(‘product_cat’, 77)){ return; }
I found it on this page:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/disable-filter-on-specific-pagesI am assuming the index page is prdctfltr.php, I can not get the code to work, is there any other specific pages that it needs to go in or placed on a certain line in the index?
Thanks!
Hi,
I think you’re asking the wrong developer.
The WOOF plugin is developed by another author on CodeCanyon.
However, since I see you’ve already purchased the WooCommerce Product Filter plugin, I can send you the code to hide my plugin from certain category pages. Just contact me using the form at the bottom of this page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho and I’ll give you the code.

Hi, I’m having a major issue with the filter on this page:
https://heatingalternatives.com/shop/When you try to select anything from the dropdown, the product listings are coming through and you can’t check anything off. Please advise, as this is making it impossible to use the filter.
Sorry, wrong link. Please disregard and use this one: https://heatingalternatives.com/shop/
Hi,
Try placing the following code in your CSS:
.et_shop_image {
z-index: 1;
}>

Hi, I am having trouble with how the thumbnails and colours are displaying in the filter. Your demo has the colours/thumbnails showing without borders. Mine have two borders around each colour, one of which is off set. See here: http://splashacrylic.com/shop/ in the Colour Groups filter. Is it possible to remove these borders as I would like them to display cleanly as in your demo? Thanks
Hi,
How did you set up the layout? I see some terms in the same filter are images while other are colors. Also, the size of the thumbnails varies for each one, so try to make all the thumbnails the same size in order to avoid this issue and use either image or color.

Thanks for your reply, I have just posted a support ticket.
Hello dzeriho,
I am having problems with the plugin at a multilanguage site. I have setup the plugin correctly for the English version, but cannot get it to work correctly for the German version. It seems as if the plugin does not recognize the AND statement / condition. It does not function the same as in English. In English it filters product matching the filter (the more filters, the less products). But in German it shows the products of the selected filters. SO the more filters, the more products. This is wrong. The website is now4u.eu I have the latest version installed. I hope you can help us out.
Kind regards, Dennis Schmets
Hello Dzeriho,
The customer wished it to work like it did. So we changed the English one to “IN” instead of “AND”. Now the customer is satisfied and we don’t need to fix the bug.
It would be nice for future endeavours to know what went wrong, but it is not as urgent anymore.
Kind regards, Dennis Schmets
Hi,
Thanks a lot for reporting this. The issue will be tested and inspected. A future version will include a fix if this turns out to be a bug in the plugin and not something specific to your case.

Possible bug… When i load category page, instead of filtering first i go to next page and load more products… now the filters don’t work but instead just reload the first page when i try to tick a filter check-box… switched to ‘non ajax’ until this is sorted.
Hi,
Could you send over your WP log in details, so the issue can be checked? You can send the credentials using the contact form at the bottom of this page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Hi there, Will send login info shortly. Bug is present in the widget mode only while everything works just fine when i am using it on a page.
many thanks, Alek
One more possible bug… when i filter by category t filters fine but when i click again on that category to ‘cancel’ filter it does nothing… just reloads the page. Custom taxonomies and Characteristics working just fine with this.
Hi,
OK, you can only send me the link to your website using the contact form at the bottom of the Profile page mentioned in my previous comment and I’ll check out the issue. Just make sure to enable AJAX load before you send me the link. Thanks.

Hi, after I made my filter presets and go back after a while, I see that all my preset options are at default again. So I need to set everything (custom title also) back how it was. This is very hard to do because I need many filter changes. Can you help me asap on this? Thanks Gille
Hi,
Please make sure you are using the latest version of the plugin (5.0.1). Are the changes being lost after you load the previously saved preset? Do they reflect in the filter on the frontend?
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Before the update the visitor could see which filter they have already selected. I cann’t find this setting anymore. Could you please help me
See for an example http://nlverb-wiyondong.savviihq.com/
Hi,
The selected filters are being displayed above your select boxes. If you want them to be displayed inside the select box, disable the Top Bar on the plugin settings page. However, the filter selections in both places is displayed only post-filtering, not as soon as your visitors click on them.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Thanks for the support. Is there any i cann show both without showing the filter button?
And is it possible to have the same look as on your preview > Filter products / Spring X / In Stock X / Showing all 12 results
On the clients site you see only one X at the end. It would be great if we cann show an X with evry selected filter
Hi,
As far as I can see, you are only using one taxonomy for all the filters, which is why they are separated by a comma and only one ‘X’ is displayed. Is this correct?
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
The filters work based on categories. How do I set everything on taxonomy then? And does that work with tags or something?
Hi,
Yes, you should diversify the product taxonomies for your products. Besides Categories, You should use Attributes, Tags, Characteristics or custom taxonomies.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Before the update the visitor could see which filter they have already selected. I cann’t find this setting anymore. Could you please help me

I see you don’t have a ‘PURCHASED’ badge, so I can’t provide support. If you’ve bought the plugin using a different account, please log in using that account and restate your question. Otherwise, purchase the full plugin and contact me again. Thank you for your understanding.

Hi, Just following up on the capabilities of the plugin I inquired about earlier. I have a screenshot of what I’m trying to achieve. Thanks
Hi there,
I have a problem and not sure how to solve it… I am using ajax for filters and after i select a filter, i get results ok but the pagination stays the same…. for example: before i apply filter i have like 100 products on 10 pages, after i apply filter and get 2 products i still get pagination showing 10 pages… also, if i set ‘Order By’ filter (for example low to high price) it sorts everything ok but after i go to page 2 everything just resets… any idea how can i refresh page after ajax call or whatever?
many thanks, Alek
Hi,
Have you tried overriding the default WooCommerce Product Classes with the product classes used by your theme (including pagination)? The override fields are located on the Advanced Options page. There is also a field on the mentioned page to insert a code to load after AJAX calls, so you can also try that.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Hi there and many thanks for your reply! Yes i have tried pagination classes and it worked! Now, everything works but i still have one problem
When i click on next page or page number, it loads next page products via ajax but the page stays at the bottom… so i have to scroll up every time i click next page, any idea how to sort this out?
Also, not sure exactly why, but my page with products loads for like 3-5 seconds and during that time there is NO indication of any sort to show that something is actually loading or going on, it just seems that pagination is not working until i start getting new set of products loading. Is there some sort of animation that can be set?
Many thanks in advance, Alek
Hi,
For the scroll issue, you can try what the user mac4media suggested:
Option 1. place this code in the ‘Execute After Ajax Call’ box on the Advanced Options page.
jQuery(jQuery.browser.webkit ? “body”: “html”).animate({ scrollTop: 0}, 1000);
Option 2: Install this free plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpfront-scroll-top/ and add this into the ‘Execute After Ajax Call’ box on the Advanced Options page. jQuery(”#wpfront-scroll-top-container”).click();As for the load time of 3-5 seconds, this is unusual. Check if all your libraries are up to date and contact your hosting provider in order to try and find out what’s causing the long load times. Also, there is an automation that should be displayed in the filter’s top bar when AJAX is working. You can set different load icons. The class for the AJAX load icon is .prdctfltr_loader
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Well, it doesn’t work with either solution for scrolling to page top… once i click on a filter it disappears and i am not getting any products loaded.
As for loading times, i am working on local machine dev server so not sure what the problem is. I do have like 25 plugins installed and some 250 products…
Many thanks for your help! Alek
Hi,
OK, try this in the Execute After AJAX calls box: $('html, body').animate({scrollTop: '0px'}, 300);
Regarding the load times, 250 plugins aren’t a lot for the Product Filter plugin, as customers are using it on web shops with products numbering in the thousands. As for another plugin slowing it down, this might be the case, so try disabling them to see if the issue goes away.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Yaay! It works now! Thank you! Sorry to be pain but just one more thing… Is there a way to jump to top of page as soon as i click next page, rather than to wait for all products to load and then jump to page top?
Awesome support!
Many thanks, Alek
Hi again,
Well, you’ll need to wait for the update for this, when this feature will be improved. Have in mind that you’ll need to remove the code I gave you when the update comes out.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Ok got it! Is there at least a way to show some kind of animation on pressing the next page button, just so one knows that something is going on and something is loading? I got that ‘audio’ animation working on filter selection but nothing on pagination loading.
many thanks, Alek
Hi,
There is no way to add an animation when changing pages unfortunately. Sorry about that.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
OK, no worries! Another thing, ‘Term Products Count Mode’ acts strange, whatever i choose for that option it always shows x/xx number format when filtered… I am using ‘Characteristics’ across the shop but when viewing certain category i would like to show number of products with certain characteristics in that category only. So if i have ie ‘aztec’ manufacturer on 10 products but only 2 in currently viewing category i would like it to show ‘2’ rather than ‘2/10’ which is a bit confusing as there are only 2 products available in current category with sub categories. After all, whats the point of showing 2/10 when customer cant get all 10 of those browsing current categories whatever filter they use.
many thanks and sorry for being a pain!
Alek
Also, any way to always show ‘Fixed Sidebar Left’ so it’s always visible and loaded by default?
Hi,
There is a known issue with that feature which will also be fixed in the next update. Just be a bit patient and this will be solved.
Kind regards,

Hello dzeriho, I have a same issue with above
Do you have an any idea about loading issue ?
If I use ; “Use AJAX On Product Archives” Use AJAX On Product Archives Check this option to use AJAX load on shop and product archive pages.
Page just load an icon of circulation and that’s it. Nothing happen.
But, if i check off the above option, then, yes, page-itself load and filtering works.
How to use AJAX loader ? Could you give me a hint how to use it? Description on manual, is little not enough to find / search.
Thanks,
Hi,
If your theme doesn’t use the default WooCommerce Product Classes you have to override them with the product classes used by your theme in order for AJAX load to work on your archive pages. The override fields are located on the Advanced Options page and you can contact the theme author if you don’t know which product classes your theme uses.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Greetings.
I cannot get the Ajax filtering feature to work correctly.
The instructions provided haven’t helped me either.
Here’s a screenshot of what I had selected and saved, but the function didn’t work correctly.

My shop page is located at https://redfli.com/shop/.
Thanks for the help.
Love the plugin.
Hi,
Some themes don’t use the default WooCommerce Product Classes so you need to override them with the product classes used by your theme. The override fields are located just bellow the check box that enables AJAX on product archive pages. If you’re unsure which product classes your theme uses, contact the theme author.

I have a couple of bugs to report that I haven’t been able to find a permanent solution for.
1. The plugin seems to have a conflict with Woocommerce category sorting. When the plugin is activated sorting with drag and drop Woocommerce category sorting does not work. It causes the sorting to reset itself.
2. When the plugin is activated I am only able to add 20 product variations. If more are added the front-end will display product unavailable once the variation is selected from the drop down.
Temporarily disabling the plugin and then making the above changes allow it all to work. Then once the plugin is reactivated all stays set in Woocomemrce.
LOVE the plugin! And would love to find a permanent solution to this problem.
Thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for reporting this? The issues will be inspected and adequate fixes included in the next release. Are you using the latest 5.0.1 version?
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Thanks for the response. Just checked my version and I am on 3.2.0. The plugin has never prompted for an update. I purchased it sometime around last January or February I think. How can we update? Thanks!
Hi,
You are using a very outdated version. The current version is 5.0.1. The issues you are having are fixed in this release. You can get this newest version by downloading the WooCommerce Product Filter plugin again from your CodeCanyon ‘Downloads’ page and clicking the ‘Download’ link next to it. The plugin doesn’t notify you of available updates, but you receive an email from Envato each time a new version of a plugin you’ve purchased from CodeCanyon is released. You can also send me an email using the contact form at the bottom of this page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho saying you want to be in the mail list where updates are announced.

Hi there, Awesome plugin, but i do have a question…
Lets say i sell ‘upgrade parts’ for certain products manufactured by multiple manufacturers and sold elsewhere, now i have categories and subcategories of those ‘upgrade parts’. when my customers choose category or subcategory of those products i would like to offer them the ability to choose ‘Recommended Kit Manufacturer’... for example:
Customer selects ‘Upgrade Parts – 1:32 scale’ and it lists all products in that category and for all models made by different manufacturers… I would like to make possible for a customer to have a filter by ‘Manufacturer’ so for example he has a part made by ‘Manufacturer 1’ and he would simply filter all products by ‘manufacturer 1’...
Problem is, i have a category of products ‘T-Shirts’ that has nothing to do with above mentioned ‘Manufacturers’ but that filter still shows on my “T-Shirts’ category page and when i choose ‘manufacturer 1’ it gives me “no products matching…”
I am using CHARACTERISTICS for manufacturer names as not sure how else to do it…
So my question is, how do i show that filter ONLY on category pages containing products that have Characteristics?
In other words, if products from displayed category page have characteristics then show a filter for those characteristics ONLY?
many thanks, Alek
Please disregard everything said above! I’ve found a solution! Everything works as a charm! Thank you for an awesome plugin! Alek
Hi,
I’m very glad you were able to resolve this. Thanks a lot for the nice words and for using the plugin.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Hi – Thanks for a great plugin! We have found an issue where the filter is not being cleared when using Firefox. If you view a product detail page then use the back button to go back through the filtered views to the main shop page the filters don’t get reset on the last step (i.e. at the shop page level). It works correctly in Chrome. I can supply screen shots, if required.
Hi,
Thank you for the nice words, I’m glad you like the plugin.
What you are describing, if I understand the problem well, isn’t considered to be an issue. It is how the plugin functions. Most users that ask for support regarding this issue is that Chrome doesn’t cache the loaded AJAX when you go back from a single product page. I’m afraid there is no way you can prevent this from happening. Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
Are you sure this is correct? Because in Firefox the category filter box remains ticked when you use the BACK button, but there is no “Clear All Filters” option and you can’t select the category image in the main display. You have to select the category from the widget hierarchy in order to clear it and then you can select the category either in the widget or in the main category display to show the category contents (you can select other categories in the main display). However, in IE and Chrome the behavior is that it clears the category tick when you use the BACK button and it can be selected either in the widget or in the main category display to show the category contents. The site is still in development and is currently PW protected but I am happy to send it to you via other means.
Hi,
Just tried it out with the AJAX filter on the demo website in Firefox and all of the plugin’s functionality was still working (clearing filters, etc.). In any case, the AJAX caching feature will be further improved in future updates, so please be a bit patient and this will be supported. Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com
I have it set to show custom code (Featured Items shortcode) when no results are found. However, it doesn’t appear to be working. My custom code isn’t being pulled in. http://carinidesigns.wpengine.com/shop/
Actually, I (partially) figured it out. It looks like the only way “Override No Products Action” works is if the “Check this option to use AJAX load on shop and product archive pages” is checked. Is there any way to Override No Products Action when NOT using ajax?
Additionally, I have some pages that use the widget version (that redirects to the Shop page) which obviously don’t use AJAX. When those pages get directed to the homepage it shows the correct results, but as soon as I try to clear one of those attribute filters (using the X), it will display NO RESULTS. I think this is a bug between the non AJAX version and the AJAX version that the Shop page is trying to use.
Hi,
Some theme’s don’t support the override ‘Override No Products’ option and display the default WooCommerce message. You can contact the theme author to see how you can edit this template in your theme to show what you need.
As for the custom action URL and the AJAX issue, this will be inspected and fixes included in the next release. Thank you for reporting the issue.
Kind regards,
