Hi,
the plug-in looks great, and mostly does fantastic job. But there are a few issues on the website we are using it:
1. Translation doesn’t have any effect. (followed the instructions from “how to translate.txt”).
2. Filter for attribute doesn’t show for non default languages if the “Select Style” is set to “Color” instead of attribute names. Custom attribute for color is translated with WPML.
Please help us resolve these issues.

I used the Poedit as instructed in “how to translate.txt” because I couldn’t find any translatable strings in WPML.

As for the Range Filter Custom Settings, perhaps you are not entering the right code. Could you share what you are writing in the Custom Settings? Also, what is not saving in the filter presets?

Hi, first of all, thanks for this exciting plogin! Cannot wait to start working with it, however I have a problem with getting it working with Flatsome the from Themeforest. This is a top selling Woocommerce theme.
Problem is that in the filter menu, the checkboxes and attribute text is not clickable. Only can select an attribute by clicking next to the name. Please see image below for explanation.

Thank you for reporting this. There are known issue for some users when using the plugin on mobile devices. This is being worked on and improvements will be made with each update. Please be a bit patient and this will be fixed.
As for the filter being reset when going back to the results page, this occurs when AJAX load is enabled in some browsers. This feature will also be improved in the next releases. Thank you for your understanding.

You can change the Multi Select Relation for each of your filters, but this only affect the terms within the single filter. You can set the relations for different filters currently.

I’m having an issue where the product filter is showing behind the products. Is it possible to make the select box filter ‘sticky’ so when a user scrolls the filter stays on top but small in size just like a sticky menu. Something like how Polyvore uses their filters http://www.polyvore.com/clothing/shop?category_id=2It would be great, If I can make some quick code change in the backend to achieve that?

Check to make sure the ‘Disable Top Bar’ and ‘Disable Show Results Title’ options are NOT checked in the preset you’re using.
As for the issue with the drop down menu being behind the products, I can give you the CSS code to fix this as it’s a z-index issue if you contact me using the form at the bottom of this page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho. Is this what you meant by ‘If this pops the choices disappear’. I don’t quite understand what you meant by that.

Have you tried setting the ‘Product Filter Shop/Product Archives Installation’ to ‘Custom Action and inserting the custom actions from your archive-product.php file into the ‘Product Filter Init Action’? If not, revert any changes you made to that file and try this method. These options are located on the plugin’s Advanced Options page.

In your Attribute Filter Style Customizer (‘paint bucket’ icon on the right side of the Attribute Filter drop down box) set the ‘Select Style’ menu to ‘Select Box’ and the attribute terms will appear in a drop down select box on your frontend.

I’m using Flatsome theme and when I make this setting in a widget there is no drop-down, only the title is left on the frontend.
When I override default woocommerce tamplate the dropdown is visible but drops down below the whole container of the filter.
How to fix it?

There are issues when using the Select Boxes in the widget and this will be fixed in the next update. As for the default filter position and the drop down being hidden, this is a z-index issue and can be fixed by custom CSS. If you need help with this, send me the link to your website.

Can you explain a bit better what you mean by “sub-filters”?
You can enable Instant Filtering which will initiate the filter automatically as soon as you select a filtering term. You can also enable Multi Select for this type of filtering.

I have installed the plugin (which I love!) and activated it. The video is also very helpful and I have saved settings with ‘saved as default preset’ button, but I see no changes in the filtering after I have changed the options. It seems that the changes are not being recognized because the filter appears the same on my shop page. For instance, I have saved filter style to one row and there are several rows showing up. Or I changed max height to 100px and it’s the same as max height= 180px.
Maybe I’m missing something simple???? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Product Filter was already activated on this page using a template override. Uncheck the Enable/Disable Product Filter Template Overrides in the product filter advanced options tab to use the widget version instead of the order by filter template override.

your response is: Hi, I was able to determine that this issue goes away when you set the Sidebar Style to OffCanvas on your Theme Options > Shop page. It seems the widget in the sidebar gets re-initiated when changing from On Page to OffCanvas on mobile devices. However, I still need a bit more time to make it work without having to use the Off-Canvas sidebar on your Shop page. I will get back to you as soon as I have some news regarding this.

just bought your plugin. I have 3 issues that really need to be solved.
1. Override No Products Action doesn’t work for me. My filter is in the widget and when no result match I have a blank page and my right sidebar goes to the left. I saw a few comments that you answered: the theme doesn’t support it!
Since there seems to be so many people with the same problem. I hope you can suggest an alternative for it… I could create a page with that text… what would I write in the Override No Products Action box in order for that page to show? Or if you have another way to do it…
2. At the moment for all my attributes, the plugin only shows the item that have content (count) but my customer would want to see all of the options and that the ones not available are unclickable.
3. If I select a T-shirt available in blue, and that it is now only available in Small. I don’t want the other sizes to display. So depending on the first selection I make the available filters should change, it doesn’t happend for me. For example in my website: http://www.nabi-tek.com/en/shop/ if I select construction Price 201 000$ to 250 000$ then in Collection Name “the Family” should not be available because I don’t have any product in The family with that price range.
How can I solve these 3 issues, this is really urgent. Thanks.

1. Yes, some themes don’t support this feature. When you clear the ‘No Product Override’ field, does the same happen? is it still a blank page with the sidebar on the left when no products are found?
2. The plugin works in such a way that it only displays terms that are assigned to published products. What your customer needs isn’t available in the plugin I’m afraid.
3. Have you turned on Adoptive Filtering on the plugin settings page, as wall as for each filter where you want this functionality in the Filter Manager.

In that case, the only thing I can suggest is you contact the theme author regarding the No Products Found template and ask them how to customize that template to show the message you want.
As for the unclickable ‘empty’ attributes displaying in the filter, this feature is not considered for implementation at the moment.

I was originally using the filter plugin to sort Color, Price, Fabric, etc, with Categories, but switched to using Attributes this morning. Set everything back up. Now when I select a filter, the results page says “Showing All 2 Results” but actually shows ALL of the items in the whole shop. Chosen Attribute should only be on two objects, not all.
Anyone else having this problem?

What exactly do you mean by adding your own graphics? You can change the style of the filter using the Style Customizer for each of your filters. It gives you the option to display the filter terms as images.

Hi, I have installed the plugin and am using it as a widget in a sidebar. But when I narrow my browser window or view on a mobile device so that the layout moves to mobile responsive and stacks the content I get the following error message:

This is probably caused by your theme switching to a different sidebar when going into mobile mode and making the widget display an error. Can you disable this in your Theme Options?
