Hi, prepurchase question: I checked out your demo (chose product filter 6.0.0 > Product meta key filters) and noticed that the loading circle stands still on iPad. It has no animation. In Firefox and even in Safari on Macbook it’s animated, but in Safari on iPad its just frozen – any idea why?

Ah ok thanks, so I will keep an eye on the update! And I have another question. In your demos, I chose “New Ion Range Filter Skins!” and filtered for Red and Black. In the filter title it then said: “Filter products / Color: Red, Black x / Showing 1 – 9 of 13 results ”. And I had the opportunity to deselect “Red, Black” but not to deselect only “Red” or only “Black”. For my needs its important to be able to deselect single terms. Is this possible in the settings or on the to-do list for the future?

Hi, at the moment the Top Bar functions this way and almost all our “term collectors”. However if you don’t use the collectors or top bar at all, but just lists, then it’ll work similarly. As for the feature, yes this will be added in some of the next updates. We’re now like saving space by fitting these in the same elements, but as our term collectors are developed and more options are added, this will be too. Thanks!

Ok thank you. So I will keep an eye on this too. I really like your plugin and would like to use it for a couple of my clients websites, but its really important for me and the projects I want to use it for that I can deselect terms one by one. Looking forward for the next updates!

Hi, me again. We did everything what is possible for make the plugin working faster. Loading time stay at 6 a 7 sec even without products online. We have a lot of categories for our online marketplace. I`m afraid that we go online and have a lot of products online the plugin needs more time to load. What can we do about this problem. Kind regards,

Hi, do you use Instock by defaults? Have you optimized these filters if you use them? Also adoptive has an impact. If all of these are off, how big difference is there in page speed load? Also did you check the optimize revisions in our documentation? Thanks.

Hi, in firebug I get the following error in console, it says that it comes from your plugin’s history.js: “NS_ERROR_DOM_QUOTA_REACHED: Persistent storage maximum size reached” Just wanted to know if this is important and if there is something I can do to remove this error. Many thanks in advance!

Hi, that’s your browser. Close the tab and open again. You’ve been browsing the same tab for quite some time. This has nothing to do with the plugin unfortunately. Thanks.

Good day! Can it filter products based on behavior of customer? I think its the most important filter. Website show customer what he loves more without any clicks:)

Hi, no. It works as in the demos. No such customization functions are present. Thanks.

Hey, this looks like a fantastic plugin. I just need to check one thing. I am designing an online cake shop, so there isn’t stock as such, but there are multiple variables but not all variations are available, and currently if you click on a variation that is not available is says ‘sorry this item is not available’ So my question is, does this plugin work filtering out the unavailable variations no just stock? Thank you

Hi, how are these “not available” defined as such? I would change the products to something more manageable, like truly out of stock, and then you wouldn’t have any issues. Just mark those as Out of stock, don’t manage their stock and you’re fine. Check the documentation for our in-stock product guide here http://mihajlovicnenad.com/product-filter/documentation-and-full-guide-video/#faq-ag32gnn Don’t be afraid to change things to make more sales. Thanks.

hello, nice work. a presale question. i want different set of filters to be shown on different product categories. i mean, if a guy is watching the list of guitar picks then i dont want him to see filters of clothes categories to be shown (such as fabric type, top size), i want to show him guitar picks size, guitar pick shape etc. and vice versa. is this plugin can do that ?

Hi, yes of course. We’ve got filter presets and overrides. So, if this is about archives, you’ll use different presets set as overrides for your category terms. You can really do a lot with these, also Adoptive Filtering which can be used for fine tuning. Thank you for the interest!

Hi,

We have a store where we sell a diverse range of products. We can send certain products only to a certain kind of region. For instance: Product A is only available in the south, product B in the North and product C anywhere.

South region postcodes are 1000 until 1999 North region postcodes are 2000 until 2999

Is it possible to fill in available postcodes per product like this (1000-1999 + everything in between) and could the filter only show the products that are available, based on postcode? So if I fill in 1500 in the filter, could it only show the South region products and the anywhere products?

Hi, well you can use the Meta Filters. You’ll need to add certain key to your products which will be used for filtering and then just set that up. We have a guide here http://mihajlovicnenad.com/product-filter/documentation-and-full-guide-video/#faq-h4hrthr Thanks.

Hi! Prepurchase question : I need to create different filters for different product page categories. For each page, search filtering must be different. I use Avada Theme. Can I create many different widget filters for different page product category ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, thanks for the interest! Yes, all is possible with the Product Filter. We’ve got filter presets and overrides. Overrides are used to assign filter presets to your taxonomy (category) terms, so you can do quite a lot with this. Also we’ve got the adoptive filtering which can be used for fine tuning the presets. For more info on this check the documentation page here http://mihajlovicnenad.com/product-filter/documentation-and-full-guide-video/ Thanks!
