Hello.
I want: – A booking platform where clients book:
- based on office locations;
- a number of services (for example – meeting rooms, video conferencing)
- with different time slots (perhaps hourly, example, 8am – 9am; 2pm – 3pm) – this also means one can select more than one time period at a time – for example 1pm to 4pm,
- configure set days per week (option to indicate unavailable days)
- hourly period could have x number of slots (I’m not sure if this makes sense
– I saw it in a different plugin and just added)
- The platform does not require a human contact – just choice of office locations – an email address assigned to the designated service provider, so that when I book for a facility in X location only X staff receives it void of other staff in other locations.
So the field selection would be:
- LOCATIONS (that is, the option for Service Provider – But I’m worried that your plugin requires a human face or employee) 
Can one change the title of the fields?
- FACILITIES
- DATE/DAY OF THE WEEK
- TIME

1) Currently we don’t support multiple locations, but you can set the offices as staff members, because the plugin is designed to work with the availability of the staff members.
2) You can set the services in the “Services menu”
3) 1 hour or more – time slots are supported (a full working day is the max duration). But you have to set the duration of the service beforehand, so there is no option for the customer to choose a random duration of the service.
4) You can use the “Days off” for each staff member, of “Holidays” to block the days when you are not available.
5) Not sure about this one, could you give more details.
6) Yes, the customers can book by them self, that’s the purpose of the plugin.
You can rename the fields from the front end so it will suit your needs.

I am trying to change the text of the next button on page 3 (details) from “next” to submit. My client bought the plug-in under her account, which I don’t have access to. I can provide license and url for the site that it is activated on.
I changed the span in _3_details.php to:
<button class=”ab-right ab-to-fourth-step ab-btn ladda-button”> Submit </button>
But for some reason it will not display that on the site, and in the back end when looking under the appearance tab it shows submit as the text of the button. What could be the problem?

I have POedit. Am I editing all the files in \appointment-booking\languages ??... not even sure what I am editing to be honest… just trying to get the button on the details page to say submit instead of next

Yes, all the .po/.mo files are located in ‘languages’ folder.
You just need to open, appropriate to required language, file with POedit and rename/translate appropriate string.
E.g. for English .po file should be named ‘en_EN’.

HI there! I just purchased and installed Bookly. I like everything so far, but I’m experiencing a couple of issues:
1) I’m not receiving any notification emails after I made some test bookings. As far as I can tell, all of the staff and email settings are correct.
2) One of my services is a class that can be booked for up to 10 people, however the drop-down menu on the booking form only allows me to select one person. Is there someplace special I need to go to configure the number of people that will appear in that drop-down menu?

- Could you please try changing ’Send email as’ option to Text in Notifications tab.
Also, you may try changing outgoing email address. - You can enable ‘Number of Persons’ drop down to be shown in the form. Please uncheck ‘Hide this Field’ check box for ‘Number of Persons’ in Add Booking Form shortcode dialog.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I’ve been out of town so I’m only now able to apply the recommended solutions. Unfortunately, neither one worked. In the case of #1, the email to the client works, but not to the staff member. For #2, I tried your suggestion before and after contacting you, but I’m still unable to get the drop-down to display more than just “1”.

I’ve purchased Bookly for a client’s website. For the moment we are developping his new site on a testserver and want to install and test the Bookly plugin on this testserver. Is it possible we can install the plugin first on our testserver and then finally move it with the entire website to our clients server?

I am considering purchasing bookly for a client who offers dance classes. However it seems that bookly is a great tool for purchasing or booking time for 1 day. is there a way for dancers to use bookly to purchase a dance class session that lasts 4weeks and held every monday? Or is bookly only good for day/hour type services?

We cannot connect any more of the employees to google calendar. We get as error from google : “Error: redirect_uri_mismatch. The redirect URI in the request: https://theWebsiteName/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ab-system-staff did not match a registered redirect URI.”. On the internet all I could find that the configuration for google calendar would be incorrect, this however is filled in perfectly.So on which side lies the problem? The plugin, google or did we miss a step during the creation/connection of the employee? I looked for a while and cannot find the correct answer. This is our request detail for what the plugin sends to google, if it could help you : “access_type=offline approval_prompt=force scope=https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar response_type=code redirect_uri=https://www.theWebsiteName.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ab-system-staff state=OQ,, client_id=theUserId”

- When you copy the “Client secret” in API Credentials on your Google Developers Console make sure there is no trailing white space.
- Go to your Developer console for the application. Consent screen make sure product name and email are filled in.
- In developer console go to APIs and check if Gmail-API and google+ API enabled.

Hello,
We have a Bookly Pro license that we are using for a client’s website. They would like to be able to update their appointments from their Google Calendar rather than managing them from the website.
Is this functionality possible or will it be available in a future release? I am a developer and am comfortable making edits as necessary I just want to know if this is possible with Google Calendar API.

Since GC doesn’t have the possibility to manage services and prices for the appointment there’s no possibility to maintain full controll over Bookly via GC, so GC’s sync is more a helper/secondary feature and cannot replace the Booklys’ admin controls.

I’ve noticed on other Wordpress booking plugins, there is an added option to sync with Google cal using their Service Account API credentials, as opposed to the OAuth 2.0 client ID, which I believe you’ve used for Bookly. With the Service Account method it seems to allow users to manage appointments from Google cal and have the changes reflected on plugin calendar.
I have a client who would prefer to make changes to appointments from Google Cal. I prefer your design, and the workflow you’ve provided with Bookly vs other booking plugins.
Is this something you would consider for a future release?

Unfortunately there is no possibility to provide full controll over Bookly through the Goocle calendar because Google Calendar API doesn’t have some specific options that Bookly has, so it’s not in the plans for the nearest future for sure.

I am not succeeding in installing bookly. As specified I uploaded the appointment-bookly zip file. When I tried to activate it I received the message:

It seems that you have an outdated PHP version. Bookly requires at least PHP 5.3 or higher. Usually you can switch the PHP version in the admin panel of your hosting provider.

Yes, you need to change in the Settings menu – the “time slot length” to 30 minutes. This option is related to the user interface and how the time will be displayed on the front and back end.

I have added the appointments form to a wordpress page – [bookly-appointments-list columns=”category,service,staff,date,time,price,cancel” show_column_titles=”1”] but when I view the form it says no appointments. I can see the appointment in the admin screen.

Please check if you have a staff member and linked service to him. After that you’ll need to set up the schedule in – Settings -> Business hours and in Staff members -> Schedule tab.

Is there any way to give permissions for a user only to access and manage Bookly in Wordpress admin? I have that facility for another plugin but I don’t think it is possible with Bookly from what I can see?

Yes I have been trying to follow that. Very complicated. I think I have done all the steps but am stuck at the instruction “Finally, log in your Google account and give the permission for plugin to access your Google Calendar”.

This is last step, go to Staff members menu, choose one of the staff members and in the Details tab, in the lower part you should click on “Connect”. You’ll be redirected to a new page, and you should give access.

2) Yes, you can use any WooCommerce payment gateway, but you’ll have to enable the WooCommerce option in Settings, and set it up. Once you have enabled WooCommerce option in Bookly the built-in payment methods will no longer work. All your customers will be redirected to WooCommerce cart instead of standard payment step.

We using Bookly on this website and having an issue with one of our services. We have it set so that you can only book on Mondays starting at 3.30pm but on some computers we are seeing it starting at 2.30pm. Checked all the settings and everything is set up correctly. My guess is that this option “Display available time slots in client’s time zone” is enabled, and on different computers different time zones are set.
Try to disable this options to see if it will fix this issue, if it doesn’t help then please send an email at support@ladela.com with the description of the behavior and access to admin panel.

If you want to generate the info from custom fields in the email notifications you should use this tags: [[CUSTOM_FIELDS]] or [[CUSTOM_FIELDS_2C]]

I am linking the booking system with my woocommerce. Why do I need to create a product for me to link it with the booking system? If there is no way round this, then how can I prevent the customer from accessing the product that I create on woocommerce? I tested it and once I’ve go through the booking process on bookly, it took me to the woocommerce payment page of my site, however the product was highlightable and accessible…....how can I stop someone accessing the product as there is nothing in there? I hope that make sense.
