Installed and setup my first flipbook.

Fantastic Plugin with lots of features and self hosted!

Just what I was looking for!

I greatly dislike the online subscribe solutions – given that jquery and HTML5 can achieve this effect readily for free.

Client is suitable impressed. Thank you!

Some suggestions for further updates.

1. Is it possible to keep the page content from a PDF as vector elements. That way text and other vector elements remain infinitely scalable / zoomable with out loss of resolution.

I gather with the current code there is a restriction that page flip effect can only be applied to jpeg images. However there are other solutions that don’t. http://flippingbook.com/presentation-examples http://www.turnjs.com/ http://pageflip-books.com/

Worth consideration for future improvements.

2. Since you link to a PDF to create the JPEG page images. Could you add a DOWNLOAD ICON on the tool bar that grabs the original PDF URL and allows you to save the PDF.

3. PRINT – I noticed that the print icon – is actually printing the JPEG page images. Could you recognise that the flipbook was generated from a PDF. Grab the original PDF URL link and change the source of the print function from the JPEG images to the original Vector PDF file.

Your plugin was working great however LIghtbox mode is covering the rest of the content on the page with a grey box. I’ve sent you a message for support and hope to hear from you soon.

I bought a different flipbook plugin and it seems it cuts itself off after 200 pages. Is there a page limit for your plugin? Our magazine we’re trying to digitize is large between 200-300 pages per issue.

I am using the PDF option to create a flip book and doesn’t appear like your demo at all. First the image is pretty blurry and not readable. I would also like the book itself to be much larger like your demo http://pageflip.com.hr/sports-magazine/. No mater what settings I change, can’t get bigger. Then on the page I have this code:

The above is not working. I just want to open up the flipbook in a lightbox when I click on the words “Check out the flipbook” .

What am I not doing right…??

Hi, first of all I love this plug in… and it has so many customization it made my life so much easier… but I am having a lot of crashing problems, it is crashing the browsers on mobile devices like chrome on android and safari on Iphones and tablets.

and it is also crashing the chrome browser on desktops as well and I have tried it on other laptops/computers. it is doing the same thing.

Please how can I fix this?

Hey Zlac, I just ran an update but am having a problem loading and having pages created from a PDF. I already uploaded the PDF through media, now I get Loading PDF 100%, but nothing happens. The files are not loaded even after a long time passes.

Why on mobile and tables pages are low resolution?

Does the plugin works with wordpress 4.2.2?

Thanks! Wonderful plugin. Saved me a lot of time. Just one thing though as tip for further development. Some PDF’s comes with double spread, but the first and last pages as singles. Should have the option to select which ones are doubles when uploading the PDF. Besides that – SUPERB work !

The class trigger doesn’t seem to be working. How to link to a particular flipbook from an image? After clicking on the image the lightbox should be triggered.

The lightbox thumbnail css doesn’t seem to work also.

I am planning to set-up a site that offer both free and paid membership to view eBooks e.g free membership get limited access to eBooks content and paid membership get more access to eBooks content, somewhere along this line. Remember this type of use is for both free and paid membership and the site also offer informative content, educational guide, tips, eBooks via the blog section of the site for any public to view/ browse freely. So when it comes to eBooks content, I am thinking to use your Real 3D FlipBook plugin.

In all cases, eBooks content has not link to the end product (it would be my own content/ materials), is the regular license sufficient here?
