gdpr_consent_log has ballooned to over 364597 entries and over 100Mb in size. I can’t live with a table this size as it is taking over my entire database capacity.

How do i clear the log, and can i switch logging off ?

Hello there,

by law you are required to keep these logs by at least one year. Of course you can remove entries from your database directly.

You can turn off consent log for Guest users in General settings, but you should check it with a lawyer.

Hello I wanted to ask. is Extended License for 1 Domain ? Or for unlimited domain?

I entered the license code for my url and it worked. However, I had a problem with the website and I restored it to previous backed up and put in the code again and it said license already used. I sent the ticket but it said I have to renew.

Please send your license to and we will reset it.

Hello, presale question: how is it possible to set the plugin so that it does not load Google Analytics cookies BEFORE the visitor expressly agrees via the consent on the popup button? Thanks

Yea of course this is possible :)

Is there a option to only show popup in select countries such as EU countries?

Sorry we do not have any discounts yet. A setup is not included, but when you purchase multiple licenses we can help you with the setup for free.

I just purchased for one of the sites. The document doesn’t open properly and have some issues. I tried to contact you using the support page but it says “Ticket could not be created! Username or Email exists. Please login to create a ticket.” I don’t have a account and there is no option to create one. There is an option to only login to a existing account. How do I create a ticket if I can’t login?

You can send us your request via :)

Hi, Quick question.

On the demo when I click MY PREFERENCES I see the option to ACCEPT ALL SERVICES. I don’t see a button stating accept my settings.

However what if I turn off certain settings like for example Google analytics. That means I don’t accept all services.

So either the button is stating the wrong fact or by clicking accept all services I also accept Google analytics despite me turning it off.

Or does accept all services mean the same as save your chosen settings?

When a setting is changed you get this notification:

Then the user can close the popup on the X or by clicking on the background overlay.

I understand but that is not very intuitive (by the way in your demo clicking outside the modal doesn’t close the modal. Only clicking on the X closes it). Most people would expect to click a button instead of clicking on the little X.

Why don’t you just add a button that states “save settings” and closes the modal with the adjusted settings being saved? There is still room between the two other buttons and adding it isn’t that complicated.

If you change something on a website usually that change is saved/executed by clicking a button.

Good point. We give this to our devs

we have two licences of WordPress GDPR & CCPA. I like them very much, but … with one of the updates they sent “Welaunch framework” to replace Redux framework. This is now flooding the system endless with cronjobs like …

\”better-framework/oculus/check-update/init \”

... every three seconds and slowing the system to unresponsiveness. But, believe it or not, now to get support from WeLaunch for this problem triggered by their framework you have to what? First pay before being heard.

“better-framework/oculus” is NOT our plugin. You may mix stuff up here.

I’m sorry, I mixed it up indeed. Unfortunately I cannot find a button to delete my post.

No problem. Have a fantastic weekend

Presale question: i have a website and want to make the app available as app. For this reason I need a cookie plugin, which is not displayed on an alternative start page (from my website). Is it possible with your plugin to set it so that the GDPR compliance is not displayed on certain WordPress sites? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Yes you can exclude pages from the popup to show:

Hi. A presale question. I’m currently exploring the admin demo.

I’m using your Multilingual Multisite plugin. Does the GDPR plugin have complete translations out of the box (without the need of loco translate)? I see that on your website it says so, but in the admin demo, I don’t see where to select the language for GDPR plugin content. I understand that I can translate everything by hand + with loco translate, but it’s too much of a hassle.

Hi there,

nearly all strings are already translated. After installation the correct language of the current site will be loaded in plugin settings. If wrong text show up, just press the reset settings button in our plugin settings on top right.

Hi, I just a generic question, can I use Cookiebot along with this plugin if I deactivate the option in your plugin? I think so.

Yes they can both run together

Hi Since updated Woocommerce 7.1, i been having an error from the plugin:

Maybe is neccesary to update plugin? Thanks in advance

Please go into GDPR > Service categories once. Then the Database column will be created :) If not, try disabling our plugin and reactivate it.

Can you build a similar plugin for a Laravel application?

No sorry

Hello! Do you have a license for unlimited sites? The plugin is scanning the page to find the cookies?

Hi there, right now you need one license per site. We have no scanner tool built in, as there are free ones available in the web :)

How to only allow Google Fonts and Maps to load if the Cookies are accepted using your Plugin?

In most cases your theme has an option to turn off google fonts locally. Our plugin can not contain all google fonts cause that would blow the plugin file size dramatically.

Hi is compliant with GDPR Italian ? is suitable to GDPR Settings for WooCommerce ?

Yea they are both supported

Your site can’t register new users, so I can’t get support.I would like to know how to implement this functionality: injects a data layer with the cookie categories that are given consent for. Please see this link for details:

Hello there,

right now we do not rely on datalayer variables, because our GDPR service will block all tag manager code before execution.

I use the GTM4WP plugin to support gtm, how should it work with your plugin?

It will work out of the box once the tag manager code is loaded. Choose injection: custom in the settings of the GTM4WP plugin.

Hello, I just installed the Amuga Ajax Log extension in order to check the use of wp-admin/admin-ajax.php, I see that the WordPress GDPR & CCPA extension causes many uses (action ‘check_privacy_setting’) . This seems to cause my server to crash (error 500 – internal server error). Do you have a solution to reduce the impact of WordPress GDPR & CCPA on performance?

I have the last version : 1.9.30

Will the cookies be recorded if visitor ignore the cookies notice?Means neither click accept nor decline, thank you.

We only track accepted, not declined as this would be against GDPR law.

The recaptcha feature is no longer workable as it only works with the one plugin that has not been updated in over two years. The plugin in question is not compatible with PHP 7.4 which is the recommended PHP for wordpress so it is now fundamentally flawed. Can you offer an alternative recaptcha plugin option, with a plugin that is still being maintained.

The error is: The error is: Fatal error: Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is no longer supported and points to /wp-content/plugins/invisible-recaptcha/includes/utils/MchIPUtils.php on line 197

Can i suggest:

Issue on version 1.9.30: the settings popup does not open. I see that there is this alert on console: GEThttps: ../wp-content/plugins/wordpress-gdpr/public/js/wordpress-gdpr-public.js?ver=1.9.30

Email sent 3 hours ago but I haven’t received any reply…

In the meantime I have discovered and fixed the JS issue but on the Setting Popup I still have a problem: each text string is prepended by a strange text, something like a shortcode…

Please reply to our mail.
