gdpr_consent_log has ballooned to over 364597 entries and over 100Mb in size. I can’t live with a table this size as it is taking over my entire database capacity.
How do i clear the log, and can i switch logging off ?
Hello there,
by law you are required to keep these logs by at least one year. Of course you can remove entries from your database directly.
You can turn off consent log for Guest users in General settings, but you should check it with a lawyer.

I entered the license code for my url and it worked. However, I had a problem with the website and I restored it to previous backed up and put in the code again and it said license already used. I sent the ticket but it said I have to renew.

I just purchased for one of the sites. The document doesn’t open properly and have some issues. I tried to contact you using the support page but it says “Ticket could not be created! Username or Email exists. Please login to create a ticket.” I don’t have a account and there is no option to create one. There is an option to only login to a existing account. How do I create a ticket if I can’t login?

Hi, Quick question.
On the demo when I click MY PREFERENCES I see the option to ACCEPT ALL SERVICES. I don’t see a button stating accept my settings.
However what if I turn off certain settings like for example Google analytics. That means I don’t accept all services.
So either the button is stating the wrong fact or by clicking accept all services I also accept Google analytics despite me turning it off.
Or does accept all services mean the same as save your chosen settings?
I just did a test on your demo and when I turn on and off a few options on the marketing tab and then click accept all services whatever I turned off is turned on again.
That makes no sense. Why offer the option to turn stuf off, if everything is turned on when clicking accept all services.
I am missng a button stating accept my settings or something.

I am a bit confused.
So if I change settings in the privacy panel how do I close that panel saving those changed settings? There is no save my settings button.
The only buttons I see are decline all service (not what I want as I changed certain ettings) or accept all service (also not what I want as I accepted some and declined others).
I know I can click the little X but that is hardly intuitive. People are used to clicking a button.

Then the user can close the popup on the X or by clicking on the background overlay.
I understand but that is not very intuitive (by the way in your demo clicking outside the modal doesn’t close the modal. Only clicking on the X closes it). Most people would expect to click a button instead of clicking on the little X.
Why don’t you just add a button that states “save settings” and closes the modal with the adjusted settings being saved? There is still room between the two other buttons and adding it isn’t that complicated.
If you change something on a website usually that change is saved/executed by clicking a button.

I’m using your Multilingual Multisite plugin. Does the GDPR plugin have complete translations out of the box (without the need of loco translate)? I see that on your website it says so, but in the admin demo, I don’t see where to select the language for GDPR plugin content. I understand that I can translate everything by hand + with loco translate, but it’s too much of a hassle.

nearly all strings are already translated. After installation the correct language of the current site will be loaded in plugin settings. If wrong text show up, just press the reset settings button in our plugin settings on top right.

Please go into GDPR > Service categories once. Then the Database column will be created If not, try disabling our plugin and reactivate it.

In most cases your theme has an option to turn off google fonts locally. Our plugin can not contain all google fonts cause that would blow the plugin file size dramatically.

Hello, I just installed the Amuga Ajax Log extension in order to check the use of wp-admin/admin-ajax.php, I see that the WordPress GDPR & CCPA extension causes many uses (action ‘check_privacy_setting’) . This seems to cause my server to crash (error 500 – internal server error). Do you have a solution to reduce the impact of WordPress GDPR & CCPA on performance?

We only track accepted, not declined as this would be against GDPR law.
The recaptcha feature is no longer workable as it only works with the one plugin that has not been updated in over two years. The plugin in question is not compatible with PHP 7.4 which is the recommended PHP for wordpress so it is now fundamentally flawed. Can you offer an alternative recaptcha plugin option, with a plugin that is still being maintained.
