I cannot recommend Elfsight Facebook Feed for WordPress.

I spent hours testing it with a real business Facebook Page that I fully manage. Facebook authorization completed successfully, the correct Page was selected, permissions were granted, and the widget showed as connected — but the plugin still failed to load the Page feed.

What made this especially frustrating is that the plugin kept falling back to an old test Page or returned “No search results for given source,” even after reconnecting, clearing cache, and checking the stored widget settings directly in WordPress. The Facebook connection flow appeared to work, but the plugin did not correctly save or use the selected Page source.

From a user perspective, this feels like an outdated product with broken Facebook integration and a lot of wasted time. For a paid plugin, that is simply not acceptable.

My conclusion: if you need a reliable Facebook feed on a WordPress site, be careful before buying this plugin. In my case, it was disappointing and not production-ready.

Plugin stopped working correctly after changing password on Facebook. Emailed support, got reply 7 days later to try something I have already done! now 8 days later and still waiting for any help at all? I wouldn't even mind paying for support if it would be required, I have this plugin on 2 websites and both are now not working so might need to look for another plugin. Shame as it's a great plugin but poor support.

This is a great plugin... when it works.
It keeps disconnecting the account and stops working every once in a while. Updating is not the easiest task and not always solves the problem.
Maybe it's me, but this is a troubled plugin.

We're very sorry that the update to version 4 was so difficult. However, having to manually update the plugin was a one-time measure, as this update was so major that we had to republish the plugin itself. All the updates from now on will be installed automatically, so they won't give you a hard time anymore.

Also, unfortunately, we did experience some connection issues over the last two days. Please, accept my apologies for the service interruption. The issues were caused by a temporary glitch on the side of Instagram, and they has been fixed by now.

This was once an excellent product, but several problems have been happening. When contacting support, another similar product is offered in the subscription model on his website. I'm sorry that the plugin seems to have been abandoned here at CodeCanyon
