Hi, a few pre-sale questions.
I won’t be using the square payments since i live in holland and we don’t have it here, but i use the app already for my offline store. Now we want to open a webshop.
- Can it sync my online inventory to the square app? so i can set the right inventory in woo commerce and just sync it to square up in one click?
Will it also update stock to woo commerce if i sell anything offline with the square app?
- If i make an order in the square app, does it put the order in woo commerce too? If so, will it take the square receipt number or make a new order in square with the right sequence number?

Really apologize for not being here early. At the moment our WooSquare Card payment acceptance with the Square app is currently available in the US, Canada, Japan, and Australia. We currently don’t support payment card processing outside of these countries or in U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands. We’re working to bring payments processing to more markets and will share updates on.
It just synchronizes the products with categories between the two platforms Woocommerce and Square from all over the world.
Right now WooSquare doesn’t have functionality to Sync Order Sales history between Woocommerce and Square.

We have checked the line mentioned in your error. Seems like you are using some old version of php i.e <= 5.4 . Ask your Hosting Provider to upgrade your php version to > 5.5.

What version of Wordpress and Woocommerce are you using ?
You dont need to worry. This is what is happening at the moment. You need to uninstall your previous version of Woo Square before upgrading to latest. If you still have any issue during installation we can help you if you connect with us at support[at]wpexperts[dot]io
Apart from that the errors you mentioned seems pretty odd. We just need to make sure we are using latest version of following 3 plugins;
WordPress ( version : 4.7+ )
WooCommerce ( version : 2.6.14+)
WooSquare ( version : 2.2 ) > your current version is <2.2
Also these errors might be appearing because you might have installed both versions of WooSquare on your WordPress.

Yes my wp is version 4.7.2 and wc version 2.6.14 woosquare is 2.1 that’s after uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling. Also a few more things I changed some of my products prices and there is nothing to sync. I am beyond frustrated. Since I got the plugin it has given me problems. I could have been okay if the it was oh maybe three or four months after a new plugin but it’s not its been a month with four new updates and I cannot update, I have to go into my c-panel to delete everything. So I can update the plugin so it’s not really an update it’s a re-installation. I get error messages when I get an order and the qty has to update and its a fatal error from woosquare.
I would like a refund!

I see many people asking and having tons of problems. I am willing to you the information needed if you fix my problem. But it seems there are a number of mistakes or problems that occur. I am not the kind of person who cares if you fix some else problems. I paid for what seemed like a good plugin and all I have had is problems. I will email soon.

The currency code of your Square application [ USD ] does not match WooCommerce [ GBP ]
However, my square account is also British and is in GBP. Any suggestions?
According to the message that you have shared here as following
“The currency code of your Square application [ USD ] does not match WooCommerce [ GBP ]”
Your currency code in square is USD. This message is actually being dynamically created from response via Square API.
Kindly recheck settings in your Square account to make sure if GBP is currency code set over there.

I know square now offers card on file. Does your plugin allow customers to link their credit card info straight into their customer profile?
To keep things secure we cant save customer credit card info on server. So every time customers are required to add their credit card info at the time of checkout.

i need the plugin to transfer the credit card info to square so i can save customers credit card to the square register. square offers that thru their api.

good morning i just did the update and the webhook still says 404 error???
In our plugin we are not using notification url. so you can ignore this 404 error. This wouldn’t hinder the functionality of woosquare.

I noticed my square order are showing up in woocommerce which is great but is there a way to link those orders to the customers profile on woocommerce. Currently they are showing as square_user.
The main purpose of purchasing this plugin is so I can link the purchases from square to woocommerce under the users order history.
I am starting to see my square orders show up on woocommerce which is perfect except it is not linking the orders to customers profiles. It is only showing up as square_user.
The main purpose I need this plugin is to reflect customers orders from square pos to woocommerce view order history.
Is there a way to link the purchase from square to the woocommerce and have it linked to the correct customer profile?
Here is our current process. We are mobile laundry service.
Customer creates a profile for us Online
We create a profile for them in square
Then they schedule a pick up thru text messages.
We pick up there order and itemize it to be cleaned.
Before delivery we charge the customers credit card on file.
We want customers orders to show up under their profile in woocommerce.

Had an issue with the product variations displaying a ”-” where spaces are during sync. I emailed support and although I did not have an active support license they still fixed the issue. Kudos!

From where you would like to sync your barcodes? From Square to Woo or Woo to Square?
Woo to Square
Our plugin synchronized default and general features between Woocommerce and square. UPC is not actually some default feature of Woocommerce. so our plugin can,t synchronized it. Apart from that if still you need some customization you can let us know at support[at]wpexperts.io.
If anyone else need to use Square SKUs like UPCs, to search by barcode in Square. Here it is: /wp-content/plugins/woosquare/_inc/WooToSquareSynchronizer.class.php line 364: ‘sku’ => $productDetails‘_sku’, just pull your own UPC attribute here.

Yes with WooSquare plugin you can accept payments with square API at WooCommerce Checkout. At the moment this feature is only for US and Canada based stores but will be available for Australia and Japan as well in short.

Kindly confirm that you have submitted the access token and application id both for live and authorize it properly.
I don’t see Square orders in Woo.
If I remove an item in Woo, does it automatically removes this item in Square next sync? Or I need to remove items in Square manually?

yes when you removed item from woocommerce permanently so it will deleted from square as well.

Hello – I am having an issue with product variants in woo and square. I’ve setup 4 variant of a product (blue, red, white, pink). The variants pass to Square and display there SKU number, but don’t however pass the name of the variant.
Seem like you forget to add SKU’s for each Woocommerce variations of product which required to synchronise product variation Woocommerce to Square and square to Woocommerce.
I just purchased your plugin. The notification url in the settings page you sent me isn’t working. It returns a 404 when I try to access it and a 404 when Square tries to access it as well.
Also, most of my products involve variations. I have a relatively small set of products (12) but when I imported to Square only 2 of the 10 with variations actually imported their variations.
It’s seem like there is missed configuration of your web server settings. You are supposed to get 200 response when you test it in square.
Can you make sure that all your variations do contain Sku’s because it required to get synchronize
Variations contain skus. All appears to work properly, but the variations just aren’t ported. The logs show that it worked, but it didn’t. How are my server settings misconfigured?
From what I’ve seen these seem to have been common issues about 10-12 months ago but I was hoping they were fixed.
