I purchased woosquare pro two days ago to integrate my woocommerce wordpress site with square. I have followed all the instructions and did everything to sync with the square. But i am having problem in payment integration.
In the backend of wocomerce i can not enable square payment. As it is not showing. I can not see it in checkout page in wo-commerce or in payment settings. Can you please help me in this?
Make sure that is SSL is activated on your site and send us wp-admin credentials at support[at]wpexperts[dot]io so we can check the problem you.
I would like to buy this plugin, but judging by the non-pro version, it just doesnt seem to work for me. Whenever I input my access token into the interface, i get back an error which states: “Square Account Not Authorized”. I have followed the instructions on your website and from the videos (Although, your plugin doesnt ask for the “Application ID” like your video suggests). But nothing seems to work. I just cannot get the plugin to authorize my square account. Any suggestions… If we can make this work, I would be more than happy to buy this pro version.
Can you email us your wp credentials and square id. Support@wpexperts.io
as a side note: I have installed your plugin on a NON ssl site and it seems to take the access token just fine. I’m not sure if the ssl is the reason the plugin does not work, but there is nothing in the logs to suggest that.
We got your email will check it tomorrow and get back to you.
Ive sent to you the credentials.
Our technical team replied your issue in your e-mail.

My square payment box is not displaying. Is this because I do not have the checkout page on a ssl? I have one purchased but I’m testing the website on a different live domain without an ssl. i have it enabled under the setting section.
Cmiller witgiut ssl it won’t work.
Ok, thanks. That’s what I was thinking.

I accidently bought the woosquare payment plugin, but what I wanted was this one. I was wondering if I could get a refund on the woosquare payment plugin, and instead opt to buy this. I have used the free version of this plugin, and realize that this was what i needed all along, but i need to test payments now, and woosquare payments doesnt seem to work in sandbox mode (credit card fields seem to be disabled?) and I need to autosyncronize the inventory as well. Please let me know
I’m going to buy it anyway, because I cant wait on a reply, but i just wanted to know if i could get a refund on the woosquare payment plugin. I just wont need it.
also, as a side note: I’ve downloaded this pro version, yet it still disables all of the fields on the pay with square option. I’m not sure what is happening. You can view the what im talking about by going to dev.districtdoughnut.com/shop
To give you a little more background: It seems that maybe the store its trying to connect me to doesnt exist. When i connect via sandbox the only store I can integrate with is something called “Coffee & Toffee” which isnt a store in my square account. When i connect with the official api, it seems to work just fine. But I want to do some test transactions, which I cant do without the sandbox.
I figured out why the input fields werent showing… aparently there was a style in my theme which makes all iframes in .main-content have an opacity of 0. However, my second question still remains: where are sandbox transactions being sent? I would like to view what an order might look like once it arrives to my square.
Another note: I’ve tested a transaction with the standard authorization, and it seems to work fine. However, i still cannot find a record of the transaction on my square account. I know the checkout request has gone through because it has added me as a customer in my square dashboard, however, it has not placed the transaction in my records. Any clue what could be happening?
With Sandbox API we only get response of the transaction which appears in WooCommerce only and not in Square dashboard.
For your second case make sure you are using both (i.e application id and access token ) for live square API to make things work for you.
And sure we’ll provide you with refund for Square Up WooCommerce Payment gateway as you have already purchased our WooSquare Pro Plugin for WooCommerce and Square integration.
You can send us email at support[at]wpexperts.io so we can guide you through the procedure to get refund for the other plugin that you purchased accidently before WooSquare Pro.
Let us know if still you have any issue.
Thanks for the swift reply. I will send an email shortly regarding the refund.
As far as the application id and access token. Both have been submitted correctly. However, still no transactions are being processed on the square side. I have “Enable Delay Capture” enabled. It may be the source of my problem, however, from the description, I assumed the functionality allows me to put orders on hold until i complete/process them in the orders dashboard. This is the functionality I wish to have.
IF i am correct about what enabling that option does, Maybe you can guide me through how to process a transaction after one has been made.
You got it right!
Delay Capture Allows you to pre-authorize a charge and not capture it until later. This is useful if you wish to take payment only when shipping goods.
You can test the payment by disabling this feature and see if your transactions appear on square. Once you are confident about the transactions appearing on square you can switch back to delay capture thing and continue with it.

so i disabled the feature, and the transaction indeed showed up in my transaction history on square. But the receipt says “Custom Amount” in the notes and charges the price of the transaction.
I admittedly, bought a test item that I only placed in the woocommerce shop to test out the squareup payment. Could it be because this item does not exist in my square account that it registers as a “Custom Amount” or is all transactions that come from woocommerce going to be like that?
Also, as an additional note, When the transaction bounces back to woocommerce, it says its “by squareuser” but the total is set to $0. which is a strange behaviour for it to have. Why would the response back to my website have a $0 balance?
Here are answers to your queries;
1. I admittedly, bought a test item that I only placed in the woocommerce shop to test out the squareup payment. Could it be…..
Ans : All is going to be like that.
2. Also, as an additional note, When the transaction bounces back to woocommerce, it says its “by squareuser” but the total is set to $0….
Ans : Actually here the product in square should be synced in WooCommerce as well to get the price there. Because square API just sends the product sync ID and we get the price from the product in WooCommerce with that sync ID. So if in case we dont have the same product in WooCommerce we’ll have $0 price.

So your telling me that all the orders will look like that in square regardless of whether its synced or not?
I just purchased the product and setup the sandbox version for payments but when I checkout, I just get an error with the loading spinner and it takes me back to the checkout page
send us your wp credentials email@example.com
sent you the information. How long would it take for me to get a reply?
Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee.
