Hi, when trying to refund via Woo Commerce, I get an error saying “an error occured when trying to refund using the Square API”. It has never been an issue before. I have the latest versions of WP, Woo and your plug in installed. Nothing has changed within respect to our setup… why is this happening? I am scared payments cannot go through either….

Hi, i keep getting all of these fake “guest” orders. The IP origin is Square “74.122.190.238” ... why is this happening? It’s ever since I updated square to the latest version!!!!!!!

New Feature Request – It would be extremely helpful that in the synchronization, we could have the choice to sync products with custom options. For example, sync product inventory only, or products attributes only etc. Right now, my biggest issue with the plugin is that everytime I create or modify product on square or on woocommerce, I have to remember where to synchronize from and it usually sync with problems.

Hi! I have some pre-sale questions! I struggled with Woo plugin for Square a few months back and decided to let go. But now my client really wants her inventory to be sync between website and store. And I found your plugin :)

  • We want to synch from WooCommerce to Square.

1. What will happen with the tax settings? Her store sells foods and some products have taxes and others don’t. Is the plugin gonna sync the tax settings on Square?

2. My client doesn’t want her customer to pay by Square on the website but to continue using Paypal. Is that ok?

3. I’m not sure to understand the automatic sync each 1 hour of 12 hours, etc. I know we can sync new products, but does that mean that every SALE made at the store (using Square) will be sync with the WooCommerce inventory? And vice-versa ?

4. Last question: what about the categories? In the Woo plugin, we couldn’t use double categories. For example, my client has a product that is both in “Dessert” and “Maple product” in WooCommerce. What will happen in Square? And can you have a child category, like: Dessert/candy, Dessert/chocolate, Dessert/ice cream, etc.

2. My client doesn’t want her customer to pay by Square on the website but to continue using Paypal. Is that ok? Answer: She have both option for payment gateway, In her case you can disable square payment gateway and enable Paypal

3. Answer: Auto Sync will work as per your settings, It will trigger after (1 hour, 12 hour & 24 hour) However if you make a sale through Square, your inventory immediately update in WooCommerce On the other hand if you make a sale through WooCommerce, your inventory will NOT update in Square.

4. Last question: what about the categories? In the Woo plugin, we couldn’t use double categories. For example, my client has a product that is both in “Dessert” and “Maple product” in WooCommerce. Hi again! About the #1 in my questions above, can you explain a little more? Does that mean that when I set my taxes settings in WooCommerce, Square won’t use them? So my products will have taxes online but not in store, or vice versa? How people can use this, then? :( Maybe I don’t understand correctly !

About the #4, your answer is: ” Yes when you sync from WooCommerce all categories will sync in Square without as parent only.” I’m not sure to understand “without as parent only”. Does that mean that all the categories will follow in Square, or not?

Apologize for the delay due to weekend in between. Any ways if you are using WooCommerce Wholesale suite and that plugin is is taking care of getting the cart totals, then with WooSquare Pro you can let them pay with Square.

Hello! I’m currently using the regular WooSquare plugin to test out the plugin before I purchase the WooSquare PRO.

I have product variations, sizes from XS to XXL. When I tried to sync from woo to square, it only synced the first 2 variations. Is this a limitation of WooSquare? If upgrade to WooSquare PRO, will I be able to sync all my size variations from woo to square? Hope to hear from you soon.

Yes in woosquare pro you can sync unlimited variation. Also pro have many other cool features like auto sync, payments and etc.

Hi I just bought the plugin and I am having trouble with the ff:

1. Product variations (example: size), all details are synced correctly but the select box says “ANY SIZE” for all the variations. So when you view the item on the store shop, you can’t select a size because it’s not properly assigned. Also, when I go to square POS, the variations are not labeled properly anymore (instead of saying “size[small]” “size[medium]” “size[large]” it is labeled size[] size[] size[] for all the variations. 2. I have tried testing purchases from square and it does not update woocommerce, even though the webhook has successfully been linked.

Hello! I’m looking into purchasing this plugin, but my client needs inventory to sync into Square after WooCommerce sales. Could you please elaborate on why this is not possible?

I see here that Square supports adjusting inventory through their API. Is there a reason this does not work?

This plugin has Auto sync option and you choose the direction of sync which is (woocommerce to square or vice versa) that Auto sync work periodically like (1 hour,12 hour & 24 hour) so your inventory and other changes update periodically.

The currency code of your Square application [ ] does not match WooCommerce [ GBP ]

Hi, I just tried to submit a support ticket and on ‘Submit’ it disappeared back to a new form so not sure if you got it.

My credit card payments have stopped working on my website. I have checked with Square and all my creditials are correct. I checked the status and it says Woo Square Pro ‘Not tested with the active version of WooCommerce’. I’m using Woocommerce 3.3.1 ( the latest version). When will an update be done? Anyway to fix this issue asap?

The error I am getting is: Error: Unable to complete your transaction with square due to some issue. For now you can try some other payment method or try again later.

Great plugin…

I have configured plugin and set up webhooks and imported products from Woo to Square. Sync seems to be working ok.

In Square i have set up a new Location, however in WooSquare settings page ‘Select Location’ drop down menu I still have only one option:

‘YOURSITE | CREDIT CARD PROCESSING ENABLED’

Can you please explain if it is possible to use this plugin with multiple locations and how is the dropdown in WooSquare settings meant to work?

Incidentally I have disabled credit card payment in ‘Square Payment’ settings, but the drop down still reads ‘YOURSITE | CREDIT CARD PROCESSING ENABLED’
