Can you confirm when this plugin will updated so it is compatible with WooCommerce version 3.8? The Woocommerce Partial Orders plugin is not working correctly with version 3.8 installed?
Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. The past few weeks have been a little tough with a bereavement in the company but we’re getting back on track with things. Updating this plugin is currently at the top of the priority list and we’re currently working on it. We’ll have an update out soon.
However, this account doesnt show as holding a valid license for the plugin. How do you have the plugin?

still waiting
Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. The update has been completed and is in Envatos review queue. As soon as its been approved you should get a notification in Wordpress to update the plugin to the latest version (1.9.3) which fixes the issues.
If you have any problems after updating please let me know
Thanks
Hi, will there be an update for Wordpress 5.3/Woocommerce 4.8? It seems to not work correctly. I am also getting the blank ‘shipped’ column issue I see someone else posted about a few months ago, after updating to WP 5.3

Please add support for the envato plugin, to allow this to automatically update and make the install easier.
Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. We actually have automatic updates built into the plugin already using our own updating functionality. When an update is available you’ll get a notification in Wordpress just like any other plugin.
Hope that helps
is there possibility of adding custom item to the manual order without creating product in store?
Hi there,
I think what your looking for would be a feature of another Woocommerce plugin rather than our plugin. Our plugin manages orders once they are placed.
If you want to create a manual products when creating a manual order then our product will not do that and you will need to find something else.
Hi there,
your plugin sounds like it would be exactly what I need. I bought, installed and configuered it some days ago, but it seems not to work correctly. The column ‘shipped’ appears, but stays blank and does not show any icons to click on and change shipment for an article of an order. If I change status manually to ‘partially completed’ it also does not have any effect on appearing the missing icons – columns stays blank.
I have wordpress 4.9.10, WooCommerce 3.5.7 and PHP 7.1.1 running.
Could you please help me, I am not able to figuere out what could be wrong. I tried to contact you already twice via email, but did not receive any answear.
Thanx in advance and best regards Peter
Hi Peter,
I replied to your email a few days ago with a few questions. Please check your email and get back to me.
Thanks
Hi – We need to mail invoices to our customers only whit the product that have been shipped – how do we do that?
We also uses WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips to generate our invoices, so it would be nice if we also could make them only with the products that have been shipped? See https://wordpress.org/support/topic/suggestion-partial-packing-slips/
Hi there,
Thanks for the suggestion. I can look into compatibility with the Invoicing plugin.
However, your account is not showing as holding a valid license?
Thats because it is my client who have bought the license (tibberuphoekeren.dk).
Please add support for the envato plugin, to allow this to automatically update and make the install easier.
Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. Thanks for the suggestion. We’ll look into what required to get the plugin working with Envatos plugin.
Thanks
Hi any progress with adding envato plugin support ?
Hi there,
Kinda. We actually have automatic updates implemented in the plugin but from our own servers so that there isn’t a dependency on having the Envato plugin installed/activated. So you should already be able to update automatically from the Wordpress dashboard. You’ll get a notification in Wordpress in much the same way as you would any other plugin when an update is available.
Emails are out of control with this plugin for me. If I complete an order through the plugin to add tracking, it sends a “Part of your order has shipped” email, a “Your order is now complete” email, and then woocommerce sends the “complete” email as well. If I disable “Complete” emails in woocommerce settings then only “Part of your order has shipped” sends, leaving them unsure if their order is complete or not.
Hi there,
Apologies for the late reply. First can i just confirm that you are using the latest version of the plugin (1.9.2).
Just so i understand this correctly, you marking all items as shipped in the order, which would mark the order as completed, which would then trigger Woocommerce’s order completed email to be sent out.
Your then going back into the order to add tracking info and sending out the partial orders email?
Is that correct?
I would like to add that Partial Payments would be a welcomed addition to this plugin!
Hi there,
Thanks for getting touch. It has been mentioned before and we’ve added it to the list to features to explore.
Thanks
Cool.. however upon doing some further research, I think this actually will be tough if not impossible since it appears that very few Payment Gateways actually support multiple payment capture.. so this is probably not feasible to be done, at least until more widely used Payment Gateways support this.
We’ve been exploring this for a little while and I think It would still possible. You would only send the user to the payment gateway to take payment to a specific amount rather than the whole order. It would then be up to us to store this data for the future payments that still need to be made.
Hello,
In the order page, once you click on the “x” and enter the full amount of that item and click on “Save”; is there a way to go back if you enter the wrong amount?
Juan
Hi there,
I replied to your email but for anyone else, there is a setting in Woocommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > Partial Order that allows you to delete shipment which is disabled by default. Simply enable this and you’ll be able to delete shipments.
Hope that helps
Interesting plugin!
I don’t think you support partial payment so unfortunately that’s a deal breaker for us but should you consider to add this feature down the road it would be interesting.
The status per-item is also very interesting. We use WooCommerce Order Status Manager (official WooTheme extension) and we make custom products. Sometime we’d like to put the order in a “dynamic” status like “In Production 0/3” where “0” is the quantity of items completed. So if customer has 3 custom products, we can update one of the items to “Ready” or something like that and the status would become “In Production 1/3”.
This is probably way outside of the scope of your plugin but you seems to have implemented the basic functions to achieve that.
Partial payment + partial order status w/ compatibility with WC Order Status Manager would be a killer combination.
Would you consider custom development?
Thanks!
Hi there,
Thanks for getting in touch! Firstly yes we are open to custom development. Simply send over an email with what your after and we’ll discuss it further.
With regards to the plugin, The initial idea of the plugin was for it to be only for store admins to better manage their order similar to how your using the Order Status Manager, but rather than having the status of the whole order changing but the items within it not having any info attached to them, we found it useful to modify the actual items themselves. Its cam from a need to store admins needing to keep track of what and how many they shipped when they we’re unable to fulfil the while order in one go.
Partial payments has been suggested before but we felt it was outside the scope of what the plugin was initially designed for since it would deal with the customers side of things where as the plugin was designed to add functionality for store admins.
However there is clearly a need to some sort of partial payment functionality and we have been thinking about creating a separate plugin for this but keeping it closely coupled with the Partial Orders plugin so both can be used individually but are fully compatible together.
I’d love to discuss this further so do get in touch and we’ll see what we can come up with
Thanks!
The last update was on 10 April 18. Is the plugin still compatible with the latest WooCommerce version?
Hi there,
Yes it still is. If you have any issue, let me know and we’ll get them sorted out for you.
Hi, I’m not able to see the email inside woocommerce -> email. How come?
Hi there,
You can’t see the Partial Orders email in the list? What version of Woocommerce are you using?
I’m using the version 3.6.3.
????
Ok let me test it on my end and i’ll get back to you.
Ok, but would you please do it asap. Because I really need this to work, its the last step before launching the website.
Hi there,
OK i see the issue. Let me look into the fix and i’ll get something out asap.
When do you expect to have a solution for this?
You wrote to me that a update would be ready on monday? Today it’s Thursday? This is really not ok!!!!
Hi there,
I’m very sorry. The plan was to have the update ready but as you can appreciate, client work always take priority over plugin support and we’ve had quiet a lot of urgent work come in that took priority.
We’re still working on the plugin as and when we can and its almost ready so we’re hoping to have the update now soon.
Thanks for you patience so far.
No I don’t appreciate it. Me and all the others who bought this plugin are also clients. I think its ridiculous that you decide to fix other clients work first. I hooe that you have a update ready today or no later than tomorrow.
I’m sorry you feel that way but paying clients do take priority over all other work. You can’t expect to get priority support for life after paying only $25 when paying clients are paying a lot more for work. These plugins are a tiny part of the overall business and will be worked on as and when we can.
Like i said, the plugin is being worked on, however theres only so many hours in the days to get everything done. As soon as we have the update available I’ll let you know.
I hope that makes sense.
I’m still waiting for an update so it can work with the latest woocommerce.
And no I don’t expect support for life. I only expect that the one I have paid for should also be working properly and the problem is that it doesn’t work. The system doesn’t send any emails out!
Hi there,
Apologises for the late reply. Your right, we do need to find a way to have resources available for the plugins when they need it regardless of what happening in other parts of the business. Its something that we’re struggling with but we’ll be looking into ways to improve this part of the business.
The good news is that the update is ready and is queued for review with Envato. So as soon as they approve the update you should have a notification in Wordpress to update.
I’ll let you know once they approve it.
Again, thank you for you patience so far.
nothing new yet????
Don’t you have a notification in Wordpress to update?
no. it says that it’s version 1.9.1. Is this the latest one? Because it’s still not showing mails inside settings.
1.9.2 is now the latest that fixes this bug and a few others.
I’ve just tested it and it should be working now. Our update server was serving a cached version. 1.9.2 should now be available to update through the dashboard.
If your still not seeing the notification, it may just be that your Wordpress install hasn’t run the check yet. In the plugins page, this plugin will have a ‘Check for updates’ link. Simply click that to force it to check for an update and it should bring up the notification.
Let me know if your still having problems.
Hello, I just purchase the plugin and trying automatic send tracking. How can I use hook or custom for this function?
Hi there,
Please email me using the contact form and we’ll discuss the functionality.
Thanks
I also email to you yesterday. Please check your email. Thanks
Hello, I am interested in purchasing this plugin. I do have a question. when you ship a line item in the order, does it charge the customer just for the items shipped or for the whole order?
Hi there,
The plugin is only used for admin purposes for you to better manage the order and keep track of individual items in the order that have been shipped.
Payment for the whole order including shipping will already have been made by the time you come to use the plugin.
hi
i want to put this link : http://parcelsapp.com/fr/tracking/# (# is the tracking number) for the users click in the number in the email to automatique tracking the package.
what php file i must change and where?
thanks
Hi there,
You that put that link in the HTML of the tracking note in the emails settings (Woocommerce > Emails > Partial Orders Email) but replace the # with the tracking number placeholder {tracking_number}.
Then when you send the email in the orders screen, enter the tracking number for that shipment and it will be put into the email in place of the {tracking_number} placeholder.
work fine
Hi Code-Ninjas. I have a pre-sale question: When partially shipping an order, can this plugin keep the remaining items open as a backorder? Sometimes we manufacture small batches of an order at our local facilities if a customer needs part of an order right away and fulfill the rest from our international factories. Our current ERP software allows us to create multiple invoices for the same order as we fulfill portions of the order. I hope I explained that properly.
Hi there,
So the plugin is designed to be used as a management tool for you (the admin). I’m not sure what you mean by ‘keep the remaining items open’, but i do think the plugin will help you.
Basically, when you would manufacture the items in the order and send them to the customer, the plugin will allow you to keep a track of which items and how many you have sent already, so when it comes to fulfilling the rest of the items/quantities in the order you will know what and how many still need to be sent.
The plugin also allows you to send a partial order email to the customer for each ‘shipment’ so the customer always knows whats coming.
Hope that makes sense
When fulfilling partials orders, does this plugin have the ability to embed a link in the eMail sent to customers, linked to the couriers web site (Fedex, etc)? If it doesn’t support this directly, is there any way to achieve that?
Hi there,
It could potentially work depending on the links format. The plugin allows you to add a tracking number when you send a partial order email. The tracking number is added into the email using a placeholder.
In your situation, assuming the tracking number is part of the URL, you could add the URL to the email template with the tracking number placeholder in the URL, then when sending the email, the placeholder will be replaced with the tracking number that you enter.
Hope that helps. If your having issues with the plugin after purchases feel free to get in touch and we’ll help any way we can.
