In Masonry view, does each independent post/picture have an auto publish and end date/time. In your demo Masonry > Panama there are “Just some stuffs” “woodwork” etc individual posts….just wondering does each one have the option for an automatic start/end time without having to manually remove?

The Grid allows to display your posts in a grid layout. It’s WordPress which handles your posts as usual, not The Grid. So, you can set as usual in WordPress a published date and it will work with The Grid.

Hello one quick question, I noticed that the moment i edit the Dacca skin or remove the category element from the skin, it stops having the nice 3d effect it had by default. I will like to remove the category and still have that effect. how do i do this.

Hi There, I’ve noticed all of your examples use some kind of custom scrolling behavior. In Safari, I’m used to scroll to the left to go back one page. In your examples that’s impossible because scrolling to the left is impossible. If I use your Visual Composer element on my own pages, will it use native scrolling?

The live demo of The Grid does not use any custom scrolling. On Safari, I do not see any issue regarding scrolling behaviour. Scrolling on left or right on a touchPad is working fine on my side to go back or next in the browser histroy.
The Grid will not modify the behaviour of your browser and OS.

If you are using Woocommerce plugin to sell your videos/audios then you will be able to add an add to cart button from Woocommerce.
You can also create your own buttons thanks to the skin builder.

- Is it possible to use a more advanced (third party) lightbox? The bundled lightbox looks quite simple and not very customizable. I would like a (Ajax) lightbox with some html, to add some titles, credits etc. Any ideas on that?
- Is it possible to show multiple images in one grid item? Preferably not at the same time, but with some arrows, so people can already flick through a series without clicking the image. A simple way of showing there’s more to an image than just one image.
- Is it possible to make the entire image clickable? It probably is right? But, in the examples I saw, only the buttons are clickable.

1) The Grid is also compatible with PrettyPhoto, FancyBox and FooBox v2 Pro lightbox plugins. Any lightbox plugin will load images asynchronously.
2) The Grid is compatible with WordPress post formats. So, you can display a gallery slideshow in a grid item like in this example: https://theme-one.com/the-grid/post-formats/
3) The Grid comes with a skin builder which allows to create your own skins. Thanks to the skin builder you will be able to set a link anywhere you want in your skin and over the whole item.

You can set a custom color for each item in a grid in preview mode (in your grid settings) or in each single edit post page. You will find more details about that here.

So, is integrating with Smugmug something that you would consider in a future development/update? It would be great if you did!

Hello. Great plugin. Best Grid on the market. I’m using it on more than a dozen client sites either via Theme.co’s X theme or as a standalone plugin injected into post templates via shortcodes.
I’ve got some requests to use The Grid as a “related posts” function and I’ve got two questions around that.
1. How can I exclude the current Post ID from appearing in my Grid? Is this possible?
2. Under Order, Order by “Random” doesn’t appear to actually work. I assumed that the Grid would pull posts in at random upon refresh and this is not the case.

Just one question about shortcode parameters. Let’s say I have [the_grid name=”PostGrid”], which by default shows 6 posts and excludes none.
Is there any way to send parameters to the shortcode of the same grid, but excluding whatever posts I send as parameters? Same for a parameter for number of items. Is there any way to override the default 6 posts via shortcode? I don’t want to have to duplicate the shortcode for every exception there is.
