Greetings I have just purchased, and tried to install, but am seeing this is only working with php 8 and ablove. I have plugins that onlly work on 7.4, is there a way for this plugin to work with php 7.4? Please assist. I purchased 2 licenses, thinking this would work with current php settings. Unfortunately, SNIP doesn’t work with versions older than 8.0. It’s important to note that version 7.4 has not received any security updates since 2022. I strongly recommend that you upgrade as soon as possible.

I’d like to provide some additional insights regarding the issue you mentioned. You indicated a desire to excise specific data from your blog posts. As it happens, the plugin automatically incorporates the entire content exactly as WordPress presents it. In this instance, it appears that a Google Ads JavaScript snippet has been appended to the content of each blog post. The client alleged that the inclusion of this script within the structured data was an error attributed to the plugin SNIP, but in reality, it isn’t. The plugin does not have the capability to differentiate between what elements of the content are essential and which are not. Nonetheless, despite custom coding not being part of the support included within Envaos terms, I went the extra mile to provide a simple code example that effectively strips out the unwanted script.
Fingers crossed that it did the trick! By the way, I’ve shared a link to the documentation that explains how to add custom features so that SNIP can be tailored to your preferences. Naturally, you’ll need to code in PHP on your own.

How does snip solve a condition of a schema property? Example: Event schema demands for ‘organizer’ either an ‘organization’ or a ‘person’. As we’re in Wordpress the values for a single event can be stored in custom fields. Sometimes an event is organized by a person, other events by an organization. But how can snip detect that and doesn’t output empty or wrong values?
There are no conditions but if a value is empty it will not be in the final schema.

Hi, I created a global snippet for the products and in “offers” I selected “woocommerce:offers”. The problem is that for a few months the search console has been reporting these two errors: “Missing field “hasMerchantReturnPolicy” (in “offers”)” and “Missing field “shippingDetails” (in “offers”)”. How can I solve this given that the field is automatically generated by woocommerce? Regards

the new version is broken, we are rolling back. Please fix this:
Uncaught Error: call_user_func_array(): Argument #1 ($callback) must be a valid callback, class wpbuddy\rich_snippets\pro\Rich_Snippets_Plugin_Pro does not have a method “dashboard_snip_news”
Upon rolling back to version 2.31.4 all is working again. Please fix this Fatal Error.

When I add a schema from the plugin, it uses protocol as http://.

I have received this email and have already replied. It doesn’t matter if it’s http or https because it’s just a markup. No data is transferred over any markup, so it cannot be declared insecure or anything like that. If you want the examples to be https only, do a search and replace yourself in an editor of your choice.

You need to make it minimum v.7 and NOT v.8

Some pre-sales questions:
- Do you support Polylang?
- Do you import from this other Schema plugin?
- Is PHP8 a strong requirement? I am still with 7.4 for the moment

To 1: There is no direct support. But some have reported that it works. But no guarantee.
To 2: No.
To 3: Yes. There is a version that still works with PHP 7.4, but I don’t support it anymore.

Snip output clones itself when Select makes multiple selections in Checkbox fields.
Example: Let’s select the language for the inLanguage field from the Selector. Chosen: German, English, French
The current plugin creates a separate inLanguage tag for each language.
“inLanguage”: [“German”] “inLanguage”: [“English”] “inLanguage”: [“French”]
Instead, it’s better to list all selections within a single tag.
Please fix this issue.
Here’s what should be:
