A very useful plugin, and extremely well-supported with tutorials that explain the basics of microdata and how you can practically integrate them on the WooCommerce platform. Developer is *extremely* responsive, and after a brief exchange agreed to offer a new and very useful feature I suggested. Highly recommended.
Thanks man! Really appreciate your 5-star-review! That really keeps me going! Wohooo! ;)
I tried a few Rich Snippets plugins but they were all too complicated or simply didn't work. Thanks to SNIP I have finally figured it out and now my website looks much better in Google search results. Strongly recommend!
Thank you so much! Great to hear that I built a product that helped you get Structured Data into your site! ;)
Now this is a great plug-in. If you're serious about SEO then rich snippets are a must-have, and SNIP helps you just fine with that.
There's a bit of room for improvement though, and that's why I am giving 4 out of 5 stars. When using a Global Snippet for a Woocommerce Product, the "offers" field defaults to "Woocommerce Offers" and this variable itself is not possible to adjust.
The documentation for the plug-in with free video courses is great. I would suggest the developer to give a bit more explanation on the Review and AggregrateRating fields: it is a bit unclear what the legal possibilities are for using these fields if you don't collect user reviews. For example: I'm running an affiliate site, so would a self-written "expert review" about an external product be fair to use that rating for the Review/AggregrateRating snippet? Or may I refer to an external expert review and use their rating for my snippet? Or can I fetch user reviews from websites I am affiliated with?
Either way, great plugin and keep up the good work
Thank you so much for writing such a long review! Also thanks for the input you've shared.
By the way: you don't necessarily need to user the "WooCommerce Offers" field type. You can built the sub-schema for the offers yourself, too. That gives you the total freedom of doing anything you want ;)
For the ratings: I would recommend to read Googles Reference (https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/review-snippet#guidelines). They tell you exactly what you should and should not do ;)
