Hi, since upgrading Wordpress from 5.5.3 to 5.6.2 the co-ordinates functionality stopped working. I’ve had to revert to 5.5.3.
So basically, when you put an address is, it finds the coordinates for you but this completely stopped working.
Do you have any plans to update and fix for the next Wordpress version? And if so, when will that be released?

Regarding the listings, please note that the plugin doesn’t came with a custom post type (CPT). The plugin works with any CPT already available in your website. If you want to add a new CPT to use with your maps, you can use a plugin like “Custom Post Type UI”. Use this plugin to create a new CPT (e.g. “Listings”), then, use it with your maps! We are working on upgrading the plugin from version 2.7.5 to the current version of 5.6.4.
After removing and deleting the old version of the plugin, then installing and activating the new version, when I go to “All maps”, it shows “No Maps Found”.
Any ideas on retaining the original/old map?

I get this error only on my site with the map of your plugin and if i check in the faceted search. If i checked out is the error gone

Hi,
I have installed the map and created a custom post for locations on the map. The custom post has all the map field, and I can see the location in its own map in its custom post. I can not see the location in the general map :/
First I thought it was an issue due to the fact that my Google maps account wasn’t configured well. Now, everything from Google looks to work fine, and the locations are still no showing up on the map.

I have installed the map and created a custom post for location son the map. The custom post has all the map field, and I can see the location its own map in the custom post. I can not see the location in the general map :/ I also have problems with the Google API key, I get the map with the “For development purposes only” mention. Are both things linked? Is it possible to see the locations on the general map with a problem in the google API key?

Hi, I’ve been using your Progress Map plugin for many years, but now I need to make a small adjustment. My markers show infoboxes on click. The title is set to link to a new page based on a custom field (external website).
However, the number of markers is growing rapidly now and some of them do not have a website. Is it possible to disable a link when this custom field is empty?
I’ve been looking in the settings per post to see if I can disable the link, but unfortunately have not found anything. It seems the setting is for all or none. Right now, it still adds a hyperlink to a title where there is no link available. This then just opens the same map page. The problem with this is that visitors no longer know when there is actually an external website available.
Alternatively, I tried to disable links on the post title in the infobox and then add it in the infobox description, but I don’t see a way to make it clickable. It just shows the URL path, not a button/link they can click on.
Does this require extra coding or is there a setting available that I overlooked?

I’m having two issues with your plugin.

I think I might have the wrong filter name? I’m trying to target the default and list and filter icons.
My second issue is that after I use geolocation, the listings don’t update to reflect what is near my location. They only update if I use the search button. It should filter out to only show the listing near the user when geolocation is used.
We would appreciate some support. We are also experiencing issues filters on our french side using WPML. The map filters properly but the listing always come back with no results
I know you were away but we really need support on these issues

Regarding the icons, please note that the guide you mentioned in your question works only with the add-on “Nearby Places”. If you want to change the icons of the add-on “List & Filter”, please show me in a new message the icons that you specifically want to change and i’ll show you what to do.
Regading you second issue, please send me the link of your map and show me the steps to follow to reproduce the same issue.

We ended up requesting a refund for the plugin because it took too long for support.
I have my latitude and longitude values in a table called “wp_shwcp_leads” in columns “latitude” and “longitude”. Is it possible to reference these columns for the map values?

Just checked your map and the color of the modal bar is actually the same as the map buttons!! There’s no problem at all. Can you please clear the website’s cache and the browser’s cache and try again?

Hi, is there anyway possible to hide a specific marker until the user searches for it in the “List & Filter”-plugin?
For example, I have a map showing my local area and it gets to clouded when I show shops, restaurants and public bathrooms. So I would like hide the bathrooms, until the user searches for it in the “List & Filter”-plugin underneath.

Hello. I am a web designer working for Rosin Preservation. They have been using your plugin on their website for several years now and I have helped them maintain their site, but something weird happened recently. The map broke and I thought it had something to do with Google’s API settings, but I followed all the instructions for setting everything up and it appeared to be working, but now the map will only partially load. It gets to 95% and stops. Do you have any tips for what’s going on here?

Hello: I have purchased the stand alone . I installed the plugin and i have read the installation help. I have created the google map API and the map is shown in the back-end while i am configuring the plugin.
BUT: the map is not shown in the front end. An Empty box is shown instead.
I am using WP 5.6.
Would you please point me to possible issues/solutions or maybe to a more detailed installation instructions?
