Hi,

I am aware of the first issue you posted. This will be fixed in the new update that’s just about to come out, but if you’re in a big hurry, you can contact me using the form at the bottom of my Profile page and I’ll send you the updated plugin files. Regarding your second issue, it is probably due to you not having assigned any of these attributes to a product, which is why they are not being ‘picked up’.

Hello,

I just purchased your product and activated it. It looks like it is going to be great, but it also looks like it will require manual imput of all the thumbnails. I have a yarn shop, so I have lots of colors and I would love to use my variation image as the thumbnail is there an easy way to do this without reattaching each picture to each color attribute? I am currently using wpallimport to csv import all my products into woocommerce. This program allows the us of custom fields (post meta) is there a way of using this to upload the thumbnails? I am currently using it to upload my attributes.

Hi,

We’ll, it doesn’t work in this way, so you cant use your already set ones, or the ones you import the way you described.

So there is no way to csv assign the images to the attributes?

Hi there, first, awesome plugin!

I am having an issue however. I am using the Bridge theme along with your plugin to setup a site. The “Add to Cart” button is not showing when I have all the attributes selected for a product. If I disable your plugin it will show, but when enabled it’s not working. Any thoughts?

Also not seeing the title or description for the attributes.

Hi dzeriho,

I’ve installed the plugin but the Select Attribute dropdown on the Woocommerce settings page is not working. I already have some products with color attributes in them so in theory it should work :-)

Regards

Sean

Hi Sean,

Are you referring to the Select Attribute dropdown in the Improved Variable Product Attributes Manager tab, within the WooCommerce settings page? If this is the issue, please provide log in details for your website using the form at the bottom of my Profile page http://codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho so I can take a look into this issue.

Kind regards,

I installed this to my new wordpress site with avada theme but it isn’t working. I’ve enabled the checboxes under woocommerce > settings but my site still does not display the attributes on the product page or category page, if I disable the plugin the attributes show back up normally what is wrong?

Hi,

Can you please send me your log-in information so I can have a look and see how to solve your issue? Thanks.

Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com

I’ve been looking for a plugin like this for a long time – I wanted to confirm that it doesn’t EXACTLY what we need. Does this control VARIATIONS and also DISABLE specific VARIATIONS that are OUT OF STOCK? (Doesn’t allow the customer to ADD that OPTION to CART?) If so – you have a very happy CUSTOMER! :)

Hi there, Thank you for getting back to me: www.labelist.com.au/zcd/ If you click on any product with the “Quick View” you’ll see that the standard variation still appears through the “add-to-cart” hook.

Hi,

OK, this is the quick view of your theme. This is of course not supported by default. However I’ll look into the issue and try to make it work on such an installations. For now you might want to contact me via my profile page using the form at the bottom and we’ll test out things. It might be easier than considered. Thanks!

Perfect – Thank you! Highly recommended guys!

The theme I’m using didn’t automatically hide the default variation selection boxes. I added the following to my CSS file.

.select-wrapper { display: none; }

Hi,

Great job and thank you for sharing!

Hi you all, can you help me? All my variable products show the same error:

Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /membri/ecoandyou/wp-content/plugins/improved-variable-product-attributes/improved-variable-product-attributes.php on line 205

here an example: http://ecoandyou.altervista.org/shop/up/

How can I fix it?

Hi,

I’m sorry about the delay. I have been very busy with another plugin and the updates. Please contact me further if you still experience these errors as your site now seems fine. Thanks.

Kind regards,

Hello Nenad,

First of all, congratulations for the plugin. I believe it has really great potentials!

Quick question, are you think of integrating tooltips in the next version? (Or even just image names for the filter thumbnails, so that when someone hover with mobile can see the filter thumbnail name).

Another thing, how can I disable the plugin lightbox functionality as I have implemented a custom one.

Here’s an example: http://www.radiko.it/prodotto/ficus-cnt010-custom/ [Website password: marseille]

Thanks & Regards!

J.D.

Any Updates on this Nenad? Thanks J.D.

Ehem.. Any updates? Thanks

Hi,

I’m really sorry for the long delay in replying, I’ve been working hard on the new update for another one of my WooCommerce plugins which has now been released.
The tooltips will be integrated in the next update of the WooCommerce Improved Variable Product Attributes that should be out in a week, now that my schedule has cleared up a bit. Regarding the lightbox functionality, could you please explain the problem you are having in more detail? Thanks a lot for your patience and kind words!

Hi,

Is it possible to view the lowest product price on the product overview page?

Now it is set the different price. See URL: http://partytent.rgmwebmedia.nl/product-categorie/partytenten/

Thanks!

Hi,

Sorry? This is an attributes plugin? What price are you talking about? I’m not really following. A bit more explanation please and I might have a quick solution for you otherwise I really don’t think this is the Improved Variable Product Attributes for WooCommerce issue.

Does this item not work with Woo Commerce 2.0+ ?

Hi,

Sorry about the delay. Are you using the 2.0.0?

Kind regards,

Is there a way to import

Hi,

Import what exactly? The only setting that is set is for the attribute appearance. You set these once for your site and the attributes are ready to go. Thanks for your purchase.

Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com

I have a site with 500 variations with different swatch for each Id like to import all swatch images from an import of some sort.

Hi,

I’m really sorry for the long delay in replying, I’ve been working hard on the new update for my WooCommerce Product Filter plugin which has now been released.
The Improved Variable Product Attributes plugin for WooCommerce doesn’t have an import option per se, but I would try doing a full WooCommerce export/import and the existing attribute options should be ‘picked up’. Have you tried this?

Kind regards,
mihajlovicnenad.com

Hi, purchased the plugin but there seems to be something wrong.

When I look at a variable product and 1 out of 4 sizes is sold out it shows the correct color (red) of the size out of stock. With a variable product where all sizes are sold out the plugin shows the variables as in stock (green instead of red). When you click on 1 of them you get to see the out of stock message. Can you have a look?

Hi,

Does, or could the plugin give the option to assign a weight value to the variations?

The solution I am working on requires that the selected variation will increase or decrease the weight of the item, which will in turn affect how much the shipping will cost.

Thanks

Hi,

This plugin only improves your default theme select boxes. If you’ve set these variable products, then you’ll be able to use the select boxes to select which variation is user. If this is the case you can use the plugin to improve this selection process, meaning that you can customize the display of these select boxes into something else or the designs that are included and presented on the demo site. Contact me further if you need more explanation. Thanks for your interest in the Improved Variable Product Attributes for WooCommerce!

Hi, I am thinking of buying this, but will need the tooltips. When will that version be available?

Hi,

I’m a bit busy with all the support related issues, and the other products, and this is delaying the development of features that need to be implemented in my existing products. This can be coded within a day, but unfortunately that day could be 3 weeks a part from now :(

Hi there – just purchased this plugin. Is there any kind of easy set up instruction manual. Not sure how to change to drop down menu, or put the filters at the top of the page?

Hi,

Filters? You’ve commented on the Improved Variable Product Attributes – WooCommerce. Are you sure you’re on the right item?

Is it possible to display additional text description of each clicked color attributes? In case of cosmetic powders, available shades are quite similar and additional text description is needed. Is it possible with your plugin? The text description can be displayed above color swatches and be updated depending on which color shade is clicked. How can I obtain this effect?

Hi,

Well, there’s no such option. However you could use the additional description field bellow where you can have some HTML with lets say a pop up link with a small HTML that shows your descriptions. Like sites are using for the size charts or similar. Now this is just a thought it doesn’t really do what you would like it to. Also you might find the tool tips feature that will be added in the updates, this way you could get that description to pop out on hover. Thanks for being patient and your interest in the Improved Variable Product Attributes for WooCommerce!

Hi Nenad, I’ll buy the plugin but i’ve a few question i’ve to replace your version with the one that ive bought or its the same?

I’ve a problem in a parameter that appear in front end displayng this message, what could it be?
