Hi there, I just purchased you plugin for the colour size variations, and each time I enter the colours i.e. #8e1529 I click save, they are there for a little while, but if I try to look at another attribute it then loses all the colours I have just put in to it. And I have tried three times and each time the colours just disappear! And replaces the actual colour swatches with grey boxes with the words/text of the name of the colour. I need some help please, thanks Angelique

If these are the product attributes from the Products>Attributes then you’ll just need to set their styling in the Improved Variable Product Attributes settings. The reason I’ve asked this is because some users have thought that this plugin customizes your custom product attributes created in each product, which is not the case.

Just purchased and when I add the attribute, i keep getting a popup saying error! nothing else. Once I finally get it to accept Color the pop down never shows where I can set the different colors.
Ive even disabled all plugins and switched back to default WP theme and it doesn’t seem to solve anything.

Please check your WP Memory Limit and make sure it’s set to at least 128 MB. If this doesn’t have any impact on your issue, get back to me and I’ll help you out with this.

Hello,
I installed your last version of plugin and i have the following problems:

Also, on setting page where i define links to images the max height of div is set to 5000px, some of atribute to set color are not visible.
Also how to select which atribute to be shown on archive page. For example i want only color to be displayed on archive page and not size. How it is this posible?
Also, how can i set for example for some colors image and for others hex code?

Hi,
Yes, you can’t select the colors that are not available for the already selected size (size “S” in the case of the image), and vice versa.
Regarding the max height of the div, please contact me using the form at the bottom of my Profile page codecanyon.net/user/dzeriho and I’ll get this sorted out for you.
For now, you can’t select which attribute to show, as all available are displayed. The option to chose which attribute is to be seen on the archive page will be implemented into a future update.
Also, you can only use one Style per Attribute, so no combining of images and hex codes for the same attribute.

I do not think you are right…. On the backend, in the picture i got: color 1 any size!!! price 1 | color 2 any size!!! price 2 | other colors any size!!! price 3.
It should let me chose any color and any size…But it seams you plugin does not recognize the colors when meets “any color”. It require a specific variation if there are also more variations. If I use only any color, any size with just 1 price it is ok.
Your plugin should take into consideration this scenario with multiple price variation.
With the products above you can buy any combination of colors and size (you got different prices for 2 colors: white and heather gray)
About the main height of gif i know how to fix it, but with every update is gone, and is a bit annoying.
to select wich atribute to show is not an emergency, was only a recomandation of a feature. No hurry.
Regarding the style per attribute it would be nice to have the option to chose. It loads faster css than an image. I think it is not that complicated, with a if condition and a little more programming would not be so hard. but again also like a feature.

It looks like this plugin is just what I need! Before I buy it, may I check a couple of things?
I want my product (clothing) sizes to appear as a horizontal row of clickable boxes, rather than WooCommerce’s default drop-down list. I DO want out-of-stock sizes to be indicated. I would also like low-stock sizes to be indicated.
Is all of this possible?
And is it possible, perhaps using CSS, to define how the low-stock and out-of-stock sizes appear? Eg a cross over the box for an out-of-stock size?

The out of stock products will be highlighted in color of your choice, but the low in stock is currently not supported in any form. This is, however, a cool idea that could get implemented in the future updates. Contact me further if you need more information.

Quick question, on the manager drop down in woo settings, at about 60 color variations the menu cuts off with part of the next color attribute showing. click on the cut off attribute line and it will show the next set, but the color picker won’t show correct. Our work around is to just input the rgb code in for the color from a outside chart. Just wondering if you came across this before? Thanks and love the plugin over all.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, this is a bug. You can edit the /wp-content/plugins/improved-variable-product-attributes/assets/js/admin.js LINE 87 and change the 500px to 10000px. Save the file and it will be fixed. Sorry about this, this fix will be included in the next update that will be released within the next few days. I’ve replied to your email. You max_memory_limit option is set to 40MB in this case AJAX will never work with your installation. You’ll need to setup your shop the proper way and then you will not have problems with any of my plugins. I love your plugin! However I have a request – if a user selects an attribute, it is hard for me to target which attribute is chosen for certain jQuery ideas. Could you possibly add a unique class name to each attribute? I have a specific requirement where I want to change the background image of the main product image when the user clicks on an attribute. Hi plugin looks good, but am looking for specific feature: on product page I would like to have all the colors of the product (like the smal color icons in this plugin) AND behind (or below) each color Icon I want the customer to be able to indicate how many of each color he/she wants. No, this is not possible with this plugin. This plugin only customizes the attributes. Quantity information can be added once the variable product is selected. Other users asked about this, I’m not sure if this should be implemented in this plugin as it would be really complicated with all these kinds of variations and the unlimited number of attributes you can set. This could only work if you have only one attribute attached to the product that users can choose from. So, this plugin really cannot implement this feature.
