The plug-in is a big mess with lots of settings spread over several settings pages and even when you know exactly what you want, you will have to search quite a lot for the relevant settings.
The documentation is similarly unstructured and is missing quite some infos.
The features are great, but hard to configure, so i can't recommend the plug-in, unless you know it does something you can't achieve otherwise and have a few hours to spare fiddling around with it.
The worst part is that Grooni is not supporting it anymore, so you are left alone with that mess.

(1) The plugin does not yet have a **WYSYWYG** editing mode, only Preview mode. Therefore, all settings are sorted into sections, but you are absolutely right, we have something to improve here
(2) Information is structured into sections. Do you have any suggestions on how you would like to organize the information?
What information were you unable to find? Let us know by writing here https://grooni.ticksy.com or leaving a message in the comments. We will add this material.
(3) Thank you for rating the plugin's features, it would be great if this was reflected in a higher rating.
(4) Indeed, support is not included with the plugin. What is written on the product page.
What does it mean?
As of January 1, 2022, support is not included in the package, as well as assistance in customization and integration for all new licenses. Now these services are provided as EXTRAS
At the same time, we accept tickets about bugs; you can send them here https://grooni.ticksy.com to the “Find a bug?” section.
Extra support services
Integration

Customization
https://gum.co/extras
We also added:
- 18 Video lessons that you can find here
https://www.youtube.com/@megamenu
- Moneyback
- New articles in the manual and fact
- New menu presets
---
But in your case the case is different.
You bought the plugin in 2021 and your support has long expired. We can help you, write in the comments. Or issue a return
I just migrated and Grooni put a bug in their code to wipe out my entire custom menu. When I go to the dashboard, nothing is selected. When I search their docs for "migration" it says "no results found.
When I go back to the site I just migrated from, due to Grooni's license policy it says" Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.."
1 star for this bug alone.

There is something not right here. What you are describing is not normal behavior. Have you tried deleting the cache? Do you change the registered URL here https://license.grooni.com. ?
I don't see any support requests from you. Please create a ticket here https://grooni.ticksy.com
I like to do unconventional things and every single plugin I've ever paid for has required a bit of tinkering to make it work the way I want it to - until now.
Today, I finished setting up everything on my menu precisely the way I want it to be - and tested some functions for future use - and I realized that FINALLY - I have found a plugin that allowed me to do everything I wanted it to do.
Great job, y'all!!

Sorry rated a wrong item. Your stuff is great!!
Very desing and lightweight plugin. I really like my new super menu.
Author response
We glad to hear that plugin is useful for you. Thanks a lot for your rate and review we are appreciate it!
Pretty bad documentation and hard to design the meny, also you are a bit limited on thing regarding the design.
Author response
Regarding the documentation, we agree with you. Manual written by a non-native speaker. But we try to improve it by regularly adding new articles and articles in FAQ. An improved grammar version is also ready, we will update it soon.
But in fairness, we have a lot of video tutorials that cover all the main points on setting up the menu. Perhaps you missed Groovy menu video tutorials
>Also you are a bit limited on thing regarding the design.
All main layouts are showed on our demo site
You are not happy with a product because you rated it 2 stars. We can make a refund for you.

Not a very flexible plugin and very limitative when it comes to activating / deactivating the license.
Author response
Hello!
I don't quite understand what you mean. The process of deactivation, activation is very simple, you just assign a new domain here
https://license.grooni.com
Haven't used the plugin yet.
This plugin is pure chaos. The WordPress options pages are organized in a peculiar manner—it took me 20 mins to figure out where to “logo image” should go. Here are some other things I absolutely can't stand about this plugin:
• No SVG support for logos.
• Styles aren't consistent—they won't inherit from other settings or other screen sizes. You have to set them every time.
• The dropdown for desktop has a background with opacity to cover the site, BUT THE SIDE MENU DOES NOT. IT'S REALLY AWFUL.
• The logo goes away on Mobile when navigation is opened. EW.
Honestly, this plugin is all over the place and the code is questionable and there's no heirachy. It just seems like a basic menu that had extra stuff built onto it over time and now it's a giant mode podge.

Hello,
1. & 2.This plugin is pure chaos. The WordPress options pages are organized in a peculiar manner—it took me 20 mins to figure out where to “logo image” should go.
Most likely you have not looked at the FAQ.
We have information about that right here on the product page
https://nimb.ws/20BsKD
The settings are divided into global and preset settings. You can find the ability to upload a logo image in the global settings.
Here are some other things I absolutely can't stand about this plugin
So let's get on with it together
3.No SVG support for logos.
The Groovy menu doesn't prevent to adding SVG images, WordPress doesn't allow this feature by default for security reasons. However, if you install a plugin that allows adding SVG such as "SVG Support", "Safe SVG" or similar plugins, you will be able to upload and add SVG logo in the Groovy menu.
You can find detailed Information about that in FAQ too
https://grooni.com/docs/groovy-menu/faq/how-to-upload-and-set-svg-image-as-logo/
4. Styles aren't consistent—they won't inherit from other settings or other screen sizes. You have to set them every time.
Unforunatelly isn't clear that you mean, can you get more details?
In any case, there is possible to duplicate any preset and keep all the settings you need.
5. The dropdown for desktop has a background with opacity to cover the site, BUT THE SIDE MENU DOES NOT. IT'S REALLY AWFUL.
I not understand what you exacly mean, There is possible to customize any background for mobile and desktop.
6. The logo goes away on Mobile when navigation is opened. ew.
This effect is only appearss with enabled "Animated Hamburger" i
You can disable it here
Preset settings > Mobile menu > Mobile options > "Animated Hamburger"
7. Honestly, this plugin is all over the place and the code is questionable and there's no heirachy. It just seems like a basic menu that had extra stuff built onto it over time and now it's a giant mode podge.
This is not true. The plugin was created according to the principles of WP Way
----
Notice: The plugin has a FAQ and a Manual with answers on most popular questions. As well as video tutorials.
Also remember, you can ask a refund, If you don't feel satisfied

So hard to use! The documentation doesn't match the latest Divi theme updates which made finding things a nightmare.
Author response
Hello,
We have tested with the latest Divi version 4.17. 4 (updated 05-12-2022) and everything works as expected. Perhaps you did not have enough knowledge or there is a special case that occurs in your environment.
Did you follow this video tutorial? https://youtu.be/ZiGtqayLllk This tutorial fully reflects the process of integration with DIVI
Believe that you have not objectively rated the plugin. Please reconsider your rating. We also can make a refund, if you will have the issue even after you follow steps from the manual https://grooni.com/docs/groovy-menu/faq/how-to-create-a-mega-menu-in-divi-theme-builder/

Thanks you!
This upgrade to Mega Menu is simply - Honey on Cheerios.
Author response
Thanks for your rate and review!
I spend days to find out, how to make the mobile menu work. It appears, but it does not work. And I did not find any answers on the internet. I also find the work with the groovy menu quite complicated. If have seen better ones. On top there is no support. I would not recommend this plugin.
Author response
Hello!
Apparently there is some conflict with your theme, because the mobile menu should work out of the box, and its settings are available directly under preset settings > Mobile menu
What theme are you using?
How did you integrate the menu plugin?
You can find answers to most questions in the manual
https://grooni.com/docs/groovy-menu/
FAQ

Or in our video tutorials

You are right, currently integration, customization, support services are provided by us only as an extra service
But a bug report is available, if this is a bug and not a private case, please create a ticket here
